MIAMI (AP) – The NAACP passed a resolution Saturday endorsing same-sex marriage as a civil right and opposing any efforts “to codify discrimination or hatred into the law.”
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s board voted at a leadership retreat in Miami to back a resolution supporting marriage equality, calling the position consistent with the equal protection provision of the U.S. Constitution.
“The mission of the NAACP has always been to ensure political, social and economic equality of all people,” Board Chairwoman Roslyn M. Brock said in a statement. “We have and will oppose efforts to codify discrimination into law.”
Same-sex marriage is legal in six states and the District of Columbia, but 31 states have passed amendments to ban it.
The NAACP vote came about two weeks after President Barack Obama announced his support for gay marriage, setting off a flurry of political activity in a number of states. Obama’s announcement followed Vice President Joe Biden’s declaration in a television interview that he was “absolutely comfortable” with gay couples marrying.

The NAACP can be considered to be a part of the dumbocratic party. Their interest are the same, destruction of America and American Society. Wonder if they have ever stopped to wonder what they will do if they had a country that did not allow them the freedom to scheme and plot their conspiracies. I’m sick and tired of the Libitards grossly misappropriating what were, once, positive and decent words like “gay” and “aid[s]” to advance their own agenda! Hitler did much the same with the word “Lebensraum” meaning “living space” to justify the violent overthrow and destruction of most of western Europe!
Blacks have been screwing each other for years. Why not make it official?
And, with unemployment in the black communities hovering in the teens, HE’S been screwing them for three and a half years!
This proves it, the smartest people in the world are not in the NCAAP. They just endorsed a perverted sexual act as being equivelant with being born black.
While everyone jumps on the equal protection – no descrimination wagon with the wobbly wheels, remember there are pedophiles who believe that their love of children is not abnormal….how long until our unmoral society starts changing their minds about it to become more “right” with the world? We will keep leaning until we topple over and fall.
Should come as no surprise. The words morals, integrity, and respect appear to be missing from the vocabulary of many negroes.
