Hillary Clinton: I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material.
But with each newly released batch of emails sent from her secret address, we see that she has blatantly lied.
305 documents flagged?
Right, that’s pretty much what it means, Luke.
The hosts of Joe Scarborough’s Morning Joe on MSNBC were shocked that Hillary demanded that a staffer, Jacob Sullivan, send her classified material via the email address in question.
In another email, Clinton seems annoyed. She writes, “It’s a public statement! Just email it.” Jake Sullivan replies, “Trust me, I share your exasperation. But until operations converts it to the unclassified email system, there is no physical way for me to email it. I can’t even access it.”
Scarborough slammed Hillary for berating the staffer:
Scarborough: First of all, Mike, everything she said in that U.N. press conference about, “this is just patently false.” And in here, you actually have her berating somebody that worked for her…
Mike Barnicle: And works for her still today.
Scarborough: And works for her still, berating him saying, “Send me this classified email.” And he said, it’s basically, “I can’t, it’s classified. I can’t even access it because it’s classified.”
MSNBC contributor Mike Barnicle noted that Hillary’s campaign is becoming more about how badly she is handling this scandal.
It’s not so much the tonnage of the emails. It’s the way that she’s handling it. And the way the campaign is now handling it. The way she handled it as Secretary of State and the way now the campaign is handling it. That’s the burden that she’s carrying.
In March 2015, Scarborough noted that Hillary herself told staffers that government employees were supposed to use official email.
She has shown such terrible, terrible judgement. She’s shown terrible judgement with this email server while sending out memos to other State Department employees saying, “You must do all State Department business on State Department emails.”
Hillary: I recently launched a SnapChat account. Those messages disappear all by themselves.
