MSNBC News Anchor David Schuster Canned For CNN Gig

“David has been suspended indefinitely,” a network spokesman said Tuesday morning.

Shuster’s contract with the network reportedly expires in December.

While word of the CNN pilot surfaced weeks ago, it wasn’t until last Friday that the Observer reported the network’s in-house team shot a pilot for a news show featuring Shuster and NPR’s Michel Martin.

A major problem? I think it's a major problem when you are talented and being used solely to fill in for other anchors and talk show hosts. That's what MSNBC did to David Schuster. Hey – corporations don't own us. People have a right to better their situations.
