Just Google “Obama Sideshow” this simple phrase “sideshow” gave cover to what has become the single greatest HOAX ever perpetrated on the American people by a sitting president with the sole purpose to place a forged birth certificate on the White House website. I have dubbed it “Operation Sideshow.” My browser showed 5,380,000 hits for this search string, you are welcome to try to ascertain this for yourself.
This is my favorite from the Huffington Post “Carnival Barkers Slam Obama’s ‘Sideshow’ Remark“; posted on April 28, 2011, the day after the release of Obama’s latest birth certificate.
Couched Phrasing & Misdirection Accompanied the Discussion During the Press Gaggle on Why Obama was Releasing his Long-Form Birth Certificate
A careful reading of the transcript is lacking some important details about why they were actually dealing with the issue of president Obama‘s long-form birth certificate at this time. Jay Carney passes out their press packets moments before the briefing starts:
“You can read the paperwork we just handed out in a minute.”
Dan Pfeiffer let’s them know what is in the “press packet” that was given to them moments before and gives a 30,000 foot perspective to bring them quickly up to speed on what they wanted them to know in paragraph 2:
“Thanks, Jay. What you have in front of you now is a packet of papers that includes the President’s long-form birth certificate from the state of Hawaii, the original birth certificate that the President requested and we posted online in 2008, and then the correspondence between the President’s counsel and the Hawaii State Department of Health that led to the release of those documents.”
A reporter asks on page 4 paragraph 16:
“Did the President change his own mind about this? In other words, was he advocating during the campaign let’s just put it out there and get it over with, or was this an internal shift in thinking based — in other words, was it the President who steadfastly during the campaign said this is ridiculous, I don’t want to give this any more ground, and has now changed his mind? Or is this the –”
Dan Pfeiffer answers in the next paragraph:
“Let’s be very clear. You were there for the campaign. There was never a question about the original birth certificate during the campaign. It was a settled issue. I was there for the original decision to release the birth certificate. I was there when we posted it online. I’m not sure I even knew there was an original one that was different than the one we posted online because it wasn’t an issue. So it wasn’t like — let’s be very clear. We were asked for the President’s birth certificate in 2008; we released the President’s birth certificate; and it was done. That was it.”
Dan Pfeiffer is again “messaging” using experiences of the campaign trail, reminding them of their shared uncertainties harking back as comrades from 2008, he was sharing “war stories” with them. Several of the reporters were wondering what is prompting this sudden turn of events out of the white house and ….
Another reporter asks the $64 dollar question at page 3 paragraph 10:
“Bob, can you explain why President Obama let this drag on for four years? Was it Donald Trump that prompted you to issue this?”
Dan Pfeiffer answers it on page 3 paragraph 13:
“MR. PFEIFFER: He even said you would be the one who would ask it. (Laughter.)
I don’t think this dragged on for four years because this was a resolved — for those of you who remember the campaign, this issue was resolved in 2008. And it has not been an issue, none of you have asked about it, called about it, reported on it until the last few weeks.
And as I said earlier, it probably would have been — a lot of the pundits out there have talked about the fact that this whole birther debate has been really bad for the Republican Party and would probably be good for the President politically. But despite that, the President, as I said, was struck by how this was crowding out the debate, particularly around the budget, on important issues, and was an example of the sort of sideshows that our politics focuses on instead of the real challenges that we have to confront as a country.
And so that’s why he made this decision now, because it became an issue that transcended sort of this — it essentially was something that was talked about, as I said, from the nether regions of the Internet onto mainstream network newscasts. In fact, Jay has been asked about this just yesterday in this room.”
When does any story from the “nether regions of the Internet onto mainstream network newscasts” actually happen? Dan Pfeiffer tars the Republicans with the “birther” brush and attempts to convince the press corps that somehow keeping this issue alive is good for Obama who is only thinking what is best for the country to finally resolve this issue. It is disingenuous at best and pandering to their prejudices at worst, again they are messaging and manipulating the media.
This stinks of nothing but a cheap attempt to wrap Obama in the flag as the din is now a loud roar on this issue thanks to Donald Trump, by the way, “the Donald” is completely ignored in his response, typical.
Note:
Just to bring some truth to this process, the Republican House had passed a budget two weeks previously to this press gaggle. Democrats, thanks to Harry Reid have not even brought one to the floor for and up or down vote, in over 700 days by 2011 much less passed one, it is now over 1079 days, so Dan is deliberately lying.
A reporter asks this question and makes a crucial point that at least one reporter got a “whiff” that something was up on page 7 paragraph 2 :
“When was this gaggle put on — when was this planned?”
With the answer from Dan Pfeiffer on page 7 paragraph 3, just before the conclusion of the briefing:
“Whatever time you received your guidance suggesting that it would be “this time tomorrow
Morning.”
By this time, the hook had been set and the “sideshow” message firmly ensconced into the minds of the assembled press corps however, someone is suspicious?
The confusion of the press corps is evident as they know the white house had been content to sit back and let anyone that questions Obama fall on their own sword as “fringe” elements and “birthers,“ both pejorative terms they used early on. Since the assembled media was not aware of any real debate about this issue, other than Donald Trump making some noise about this, much less any stories from the “nether regions of the internet.”
The biggest reason for this is the media itself, as they squelch almost any story before it rises to anything the White House would have to deal with. Some of the press corps were wondering why this about face was coming from the White House at this time? However, they failed to connect the dots on this U-turn by Obama in regard to Donald Trump and Jerome Corsi’s newest book, “Where’s the Birth Certificate” which had become a No.1 best seller on Amazon in pre-release sales from the week before on April 21st.
This is further evidence that a pliant press corps and media had accepted their “sideshow” message and would prime the pump for the media cycle to follow. Since they had given up their objectivity long ago when is comes to Obama and are simply acting as cheerleaders for Team Obama. Dan Pfieffer, Bob Bauer and Jay Carney could now be assured that they would assist the White House to squelch any noise about this issue in the future.

Obama is a liar and a fraud, and very few people care. Not Congress, not the media, not the court system, not even the RNC. But notice that none of them deny the evidence of forgery and fraud. They either marginalize and ridicule the source of the evidence, or they totally ignore the subject.

This is because “baby Boehner” doesn’t have the balls to do anything about Obama’s forgery which means his usefulness as Speaker of the House of Representatives is done. DavidMac. . .I do believe the reason the media has toned down and you don’t hear any of what we find out here, is because Soras has put up 10 million dollars to threaten the medis stations and the hosst that if anything is said about Obama he will shut the station down and they will lose their jobs so in that case what do they do. Get the picture? Anyway, it’s my (Humble) opinion that even though our only choices are Holy Sh*t! and oh crap, we MUST vote – against O but FOR us by voting for ANYONE other than him. That said, I maintain there will probably be no real election. I’d be willing to put money on the table that the whole thing will be fraudulently in favor of the Criminal-In-Chief. Neither birth certificate’s that have been shown are authentic as the green ones didn’t come out until the 70′s along with death certificates, before that they were 8 1/2 by 11 blue papers. Mrs Nordyke had twins day after Obama was born in Kenya, same Hospital, same Doctor and the birth certificates were dark blue.
So something is wrong and I think it’s the green and fancy certificates presented. If you want the Nordyke story reply to this post and I will send it to you as proof.

Before xerography was widely available, photocopying of documents was most commonly done with systems that produced “negatives” of the originating document. What would normally be black on a white (or lightly colored) background yielded white lettering and details on a dark or even black background.
Thus the representations of her daughters’ birth certificates retained by Mrs. Nordyke had almost certainly been produced by such a process. They weren’t official documents (no embossed seals, no signatures) but rather true copies thereof.

Yes Tucci78, your probably right, if you went to a court house/Stistics today and ask for a copy of your birth certificate you might get a micro-film like the blue one that’s the way they store them anymore, The Stistics would probably send you an original but that might be why hers was blue BUT they were still 8 1/2 x 11 not anyway near what Obama and his gang presented.

I’m not a forensic documents specialist, and my own personal memory of the prevailing technology in the early 1960s should not be trusted without caveat, but you should realize that the copies produced of birth certificates (like those in Mrs. Nordyke’s possession on her twin girls) were never printed out in standard 8 1/2 by 11 format, but rather in very narrow width and generally small size, particularly when they were printed from microfilm records.
Are you familiar with microfilm as it was used in the years before digital storage media came into wide employment? Back in the ’60s and ’70s when I was doing undergraduate and graduate school research in university libraries, we got plenty of experience with microfilm reels, and I can remember when we thought that microfiche was a Really Neat New Trick. Made searching through those archives a helluva lot faster, but the machines never printed out on standard 8 1/2 x 11 paper. The stuff was always off-size chemically treated “slick” paper that came in rolls, and fed each microfilm/microfiche system with proprietary persnicketiness. The print-outs faded very easily, and for that reason had to be protected from too much exposure to most kinds of light.
Now, I started completing and signing birth certificates back in the ’70s, too, when I was attending my patients in their confinements and catching their babies, and those certificates were always much smaller than 8 1/2 by 11, too, just the way they were in the ’60s and the ’50s and the ’40s and so on, so I’ve got personal experience to confirm what all other doctors, L&D nurses, ward clerks, and medical records weenies of those years can tell you, too.
Real birth certificates generated back then as the result of in-hospital deliveries were completed by the doctors and other personnel right there in the hospital That’s the reason why you’ll find some of them with bloodstains or smudges of iodine-containing antiseptic solutions, ’cause lots of us were damned tired and not very fastidious when the ward clerks shoved the forms in front of us and told us to sign ‘em.
(Universal infectious disease precautions didn’t come into real use until after AIDS came along to scare everybody half to death. I remember coming out of the delivery room with my scrubs and skivvies literally soaked in amniotic fluid, bloody saline solution and Betadine. Among other stuff.)
Tucci78, you have to think about this, the Birth and Death Certificates in Kenya are a whole different thing, we had a funeral home and you should have seen some of the Death Certificates we got with bodies that came in from other countries, they were really different then ours, so really we don’t know what theirs look like for a Birth Certificate in Kenya and I believe the lady that persented a copy of the certificates would have no reason to issue corrupt ones like Obama did, she was trying to help with our problem. I looked at some of the files down at the funeral home and there ares some that are 8 1/2 x 11 or almost, maybe 8 x 10 I didn’t exactly measure them so hard to tell but I wouldn’t think the Mrs Nordyke would have any reason to not show the copies she was given, wouldn’t you think

OK. Let’s assume that everyone in Congress knows or is at least reasonably certain that Barack Hussein Obama is a fraud insofar as being constitutionally eligible to either run for or hold the office of POTUS. Let’s further assume they were reasonably certain of that in 2008 as was Bill Clinton whose disclosure of that information was imminent when he and/or Hillary received what is alleged to have been a death threat against Chelsea. That plus the specter of massive civil disobedience among blacks if Obama’s eligibility was seriously challenged by a white majority in Congress coupled with a lapdog media that had thrills running up their thighs because he was a candidate for POTUS and ready to do his bidding by playing the race card on cue and its easy to see why we are where we are. It can be summed up in two words: Selfishness and Cowardice.
Here’s a hypothetical to consider: If the person or persons who created the forged BC were found by Joe Arpaio’s cold case posse and if all of Obama’s travel records and matriculation records were found and put on full display plus he admitted that he was aware that he was not a natural born citizen when he illegally declared his candidacy for president and that he carries a forged Selective Service Card and Social Security Card, what do you think would happen? Do you think that Congress would suddenly go into impeachment mode? Do you think that Obama’s name would be stricken from state election ballots for the 2012 election? Do you think the liberal media would no longer be supportive of him and would turn on him and attack him like they would if he were a republican?
My guess is: NO! Absolutely nothing would be done by any federal court or by Congress or by any state that would affect Obama or hold him accountable. I’m guessing that it would all be left to the American people as the judge and jury in the court of public opinion to decide Obama’s verdict and sentence. The American Republic has been thrown under the bus and is presently on life support with a dim outlook for the future. The rule of law would seem to be history for the privileged ruling class in America. They are now exempt from its restrictions and limitations while you and I must toe the mark or else. And would I also think that such applies to the republican party if it should manage to regain power in Washington? It depends on whether a true conservative is elected POTUS and republicans regain control of the Senate also with true conservatives and hold the House. That said, I’m skeptical that a Romney presidency would be all that much different from what we have now. I think he too is a selfish coward in the mold of the RINO establishment leadership lacking any real vision for restoring America to its intended greatness as an exceptional constitutional republic. I could be wrong. I hope I am.
