TEL AVIV — NATO countries are strongly considering the possibility of an international deployment to Syria if the Syrian opposition does not make major advances in the next few weeks, according to multiple informed Middle Eastern diplomatic and security officials.
Egyptian security officials, meanwhile, outlined what they said was large scale international backing for the rebels attacking the embattled regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad – including arms and training from the U.S., Turkey, Jordan,Wi and Saudi Arabia.
Several knowledgeable Egyptian and Arab security officials claimed the U.S., Turkey and Jordan were running a training base for the Syrian rebels in the Jordanian town of Safawi, which is located in the country’s northern desert region.
Those security officials also claimed Saudi Arabia was sending weapons to the rebels via surrogates, including through Druze and Christian leaders in Lebanon such as Druze leader Walid Jumblatt; Saudi-Lebanese billionaire Saad Hariri, who recently served as Lebanon’s prime minister; and senior Lebanese opposition leader Samir Farid Geagea.
Syrian sources claimed to KleinOnline that Jordan’s fingerprints can bee seen on the opposition forces entering the country. They claimed that just this week they shot dead 15 armed smugglers coming into the country from Jordan and that Jordanian forces helped to cover the smugglers’ tracks on the Jordanian side of the border. They said the incident did not make it to the news media.

well he’ll do anything to get re-elected, he is lower than pond scum, sad to say that of a u.s. president. However, he does have lots of company, although bush doesn’t quite (close) match up to BO certainly the likes of wilson and johnson and carter do. It’s been a long time coming, but, the communist threat is NOT gone…it’s alive and well in the u.s.a. watch a trailer on youtube the grinding down of America….get involved in a free Constitution class. even on line I believe Heritage Foundation runs one. Lots of groups all over the country have formed and continue to do so and are edu. folks so you can intelligently argue with your reps in D.C. when they vote for legislation that is unconstitutional. knowledge is power, holding our legislators feet to the fire critical….far too long we the people have allowed for them to do whatever without oversight. we can no longer be ‘too busy’ to watch them. both sides of the aisle have taken us for granted. our country is in deep **** we need to stand strong and be involved,. we need real conservatives bkz the status quo has allowed for a BO to waltz in and do what is being done down there in the district of corruption. this did not happen overnight or just bkz of democrats who’ve been hi-jacked by the socialist for a one world gvt.
