Speaking as one American, the whole “GOP outreach to Black folks” argument rings hollow for this reason:
Most American Blacks reject Republican conservatism. While having strong religious conservatism, this doesn’t translate into its political equivalent because of an even stronger allegiance: socialism.
Many feel America owes us for a tortured past and present issues. Government entitlement is the vehicle for satisfying this grievance.
Democrats are more than willing to play this role in exchange for a monopoly on the Black vote.
Obama’s two elections are seen more as a two-part coup than traditional transfers of power within the constitutional framework.
Record disbursements of unemployment insurance, food stamps, and Obamacare was enough to confirm that the West socialists hate had been toppled in America.
One of many flaws in this socialist thinking is that American Blacks are Westerners too. The American tradition is informed by many cultures, varied African included, that create the sum total we practice today.
Seeing ourselves as outcasts within our own country creates fellow traveler status for whatever slick-talking socialist cons us into selling out traditional values for more government.
I understand just how bad things have been since the last Bush term. People need much more help, public and private.
My concern is thinking the public route is the only one. Once they convince you government is the answer, voting Democrat is the only way to go.
Against this backdrop, excessive outreach to socialist Americans in my community is a waste of time. Individual American Blacks and sub-sets are political conservatives by choice- not coercion.
Begging, bribing, or otherwise undermining traditional values platforms simply to have more Black faces in the GOP is a losing proposition.
Latinos are more philosophically receptive to the values message, but amnesty is the promise needed to keep them voting Republican.
Unlike us, they are competitive with their vote and aren’t wedded at the hip to either party.
Black folks may eventually emancipate ourselves from socialism, but that’s not the GOP’s problem. As Americans, we will have to look socialism in the eye and reject it.
No benevolent outsider can do this for us. It hurts watching White patriots wanting us to embrace Americanism more than many of us desire.
The modern abolitionists are here, but lot of us have yet to book passage on today’s underground railroad of free markets and a Judeo-Christians ethic cleansed of socialism.
Retaining conservatives of all colors is Republicans’ immediate peril. The minute I see them courting the “Obama Phone Lady” or the “preacher for profit” demographic, I’ll return to being an independent.
There are clear reasons why Americans are Republicans and Democrats.
American Blacks in large part expect government to even the score for past wrongs. Those of us more focused upon the present and powered by uncompromised traditional values will either be Republicans, Independents, or whatever other affiliation awaits.
I wish our outreach advocates well. They may be able to get significant numbers of Blacks to vote their values instead of worshipping at the altar of socialism.
I’m content with the percentage of center right, conservative, and libertarian Americans from the Black community who are Republicans.
We’re here because the party (at least in writing) champions traditional values by which we live. An influx of socialists of any color should compel us and others to seek greener pastures elsewhere.
My work in the inner city isn’t to magically make Republicans out of socialists. My goal is getting some to reject socialism’s moral relativism so they stop leading criminal and drug-addicted lives.
My formula is the more patriots we mutually manufacture, the fewer thugs, crackheads, and alcoholics. Sounds like a great trade-off to me.
How they vote afterward is something we can discuss.
More Black faces for the sake of it isn’t the answer.
Recruiting more Americans whose patriotism and love of traditional values bind them together is a better goal.
Memo to the GOP: most Black folks like being Democrats. If we wanted to be Republican, more would have done so by now.
A lot of us are socialists and therefore Democrats.
Republicans, look within your ranks for centrist and conservative Americans from the Black community. We’re already here.
One day, Black folks will weary of socialism.
Black emancipators equivalent to Jack Kemp, Ron Paul, Ayn Rand, and others are hastening this day. White modern abolitionists similar to Frederick Douglass, Booker T Washington, and Harriet Tubman are also fighting for this glorious day.
Today isn’t it.

Conservatism has been Overtaken By Events. We hear every day about the new “information economy” and how everybody needs more education to qualify for these new jobs. Okay, you’re an average member of the African-American race. As an average member, you have an IQ of 85. You also have, innately, poor impulse-control and a short time-horizon, so you’re probably a criminal. Yeah, you think you’re gonna graduate from college? JuCo? VoTech? High school? Or what? I believe a perfectly rational choice for you would be to get on welfare, enter the criminal life, and/or snag an affirmative-action gummint job ASAP. Nobody in his right mind can see any end to welfare in America.
It’s pathetic how stupid the Blacks have allowed themselves to be manipulated by the very political party who kept them segregated from the rest of society, and continues to do so! When Lyndon Johnson created the “Great Society,” it wasn’t to help Blacks, it was to keep them controlled by the Democrat Party! Johnson said this to his staff at the time,”The (n-word’s) will vote for Democrats forever.” Now 50 years later, the Blacks are continuing to be manipulated by the Democrat Party’s propaganda, and they continue to vote for Democrats. If nothing else, it demonstrates how stupid the Blacks are, as a particular grroup or race of people. Yes, the Democrat Party leadership loves the Blacks, as long as they know their place.
Actually, Lyndon Johnson said, “I’ll make those ni—-s vote for me.” I wonder how many people in the black community know the truth about the Demonrat Party — they were KKK, they were for slavery, they fought tooth and nail to keep the Repulicans from passing civil rights and an end to slavery; they turned the hoses and dogs on those civil rights protesters in the South; they are the ones who are lying and brainwashing the black Americans about how bad our Founding Fathers were and how racist the Republs are. It’s all lies. They are the REAL racists. Look what they did to Clarence Thomas and how they stole the election from Allen West just because they are not liberal/Demonrat black Americans. That sounds like racism to the highest degree. The reason why the Demonrats want control of the black community is because there are too many of them now. They would lose elections if they didn’t lie and control the blacks. It’s all about control and power to the Demonrats. In reality, they don’t give a rat’s arce about anyone except themselves and their liberal agenda.
True. Proof is that no company in the world would rehire a guy like the Kenyan occupying the WH, who received the US Economy with a 10TRILLION DEBT, promised to cut it in half, and instead, increased it to the current and growing 16TRILLION. The blacks, as well as the Latinos, simply do not understand that they are the main cause of the Financial crisis the US Economy, which has led to the ongoing disaster, that will soon make it impossible to continue financing the food stamps and the other handouts on which these communities rely on mainly, in order to maintain their sorry existence. Unfortunately they have cooperated to sink the American Americans with them. But, somebody will pay a terrible price for what they have done to sink America.

I agree with Black Cap. Making Republicans Democrat-lite is not a good idea. Republicans need to stand by their traditional, Juedeo-Christian values without caving-in. I think that’s why Repubs lost the presidential election, because they didn’t stand firm for their values, traditional values. Romney was too weak on values issues. He ran on the economy. I don’t think that the economy is the most important issue to God. I think innocent human life; the protection of innocent human life is the most important issue to God. Remember, if we don’t have the ‘right to life’ we have NO rights. We have been slaughtering the unborn, America’s future, for 40 years. We have become desensitized to crime against life. Now, we are facing the killing of the elderly, sick and disabled. Our very own lives are at stake. Standing by your convictions is how you win in the end. The Repubs need to stand by their convictions and stop caving-in. Many in the black community are being lied-to or brainwashed into believing that our Founding Fathers were rich, racist, white men who only cared about themselves. That’s an outright lie; it’s slander. Our Founding Fathers put their lives. fortunes and reputations on the line to win true freedom for all Americans and they NEVER forgot God. That’s the main reason why they won. Most of them lost everything they had, died or lost a loved one, Thomas Jefferson died in bandkruptcy.
By now, the fact that the GOP and the DEMs have made some behind the scenes deal, should have become obvious to anyone who has witnessed the Romney and Ryan pair, avoiding to accuse the Kenyan of any of the multiple crimes, like: the increase of the DEBT from 10 to 16 Trillion; the squandering of direly needed money on a totally needless, destructive and illegal war on Libya; a country where an AlQuaeda and Islamist Brotherhood Government, which murdered a US Ambassador, without any measures being taken, while the same terrorists, financed by the US and its cronies, and trained by the CIA in Turkey, are invading Syria. Meanwhile the Kenyan is backing crimes in the US. What? The FORT HOOD tragedy, where an Islamist US Major shot around 50 US sun armed soldiers, while crying “Allahu Akbar” and was saved from being judged as a terrorist, by Barack Hussein Obama, who defined the massacre as a “Working place Accident or Violence” THREE YEARS AGO, so the families of the victims haven´t been compensated and the murderer reportedly will go free because of some “political correctness” issue. Same with the “Fast and Furious” gun and drug/money walking scheme, which cost a US Border Agent´s and some 300 Mexican citizen´s lives, without nobody being charged for the crime, nor so many other criminal matters that have been thrown out of the courts, by bought or biased judges.
The black community nees to realize that if one is a true Christian he/she will not work to get revenge to those who have harmed you. Chirst said, “If you do not forgive those who trespass against you, my Father in Heaven will not forgive you of your trespasses.” Also, “Revenge is mine,” says the Lord. God is the one who will balance the books; will bring justice against those who harm us in His own way and His own time.

Christians, I think not.
If black’s other than Arab’s knew that Obama was not an African American but instead a Muslim Arab, and if they knew what Arab’s did for a living for centuries, which was tio trade in African’s from Africa as slaves, and if they also knew that Democrats were responsible for signing into law, the “Jim Crow” laws and that the Democrats also was were the “KKK” was first formed,they might not wish to remain with the Democrat party.
Then again, the likelihood of most black’s ever knowing any of the above, is something hat will never happen so the insanity in this country will simply continue with the Democratic party continuing to grow as Obama hands out more stuff to them.
Anything that is FREE… the blacks will take… doesnt matter if they have 10,000 in their pocket… they want that free stuff. You certainly dont see any of them suffering from malnutrition do you? They feel the White Boy owes it to them. If any of them were suffering from malnutrition, they’d be skinny wouldn’t they…. but they happen to be real life FATTIES…… ALL of them.. kids and all.
