Obama Bush SC Media scrutiny different for Obama than for Bush

A media analyst says the broadcast networks are already signaling that when it comes to issue of abortion, they don’t plan to hold President Obama to the same level of scrutiny as they did his predecessor.

A recent Gallup poll shows that only 35 percent of Americans approve of Obama’s decision to allow taxpayer funding for overseas groups that provide abortions. According to the poll, rescinding the Mexico City Policy has been the least popular of the decisions Obama has made thus far as president.

Dan Gainor, vice-president of the Culture and Media Institute, says the mainstream media have treated Obama’s move to dump the Mexico City Policy like it was a non-issue.
