PHOENIX – Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies are working with Knoxville, Tennessee authorities following an investigation into an internet death threat against Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Deputies served a search warrant at 33-year-old Adam Eugene Cox’s home. A computer and other evidence was seized.
On Friday, Cox was arrested and taken into custody on an unrelated warrant for assault. He’s being investigated as the prime suspect in the Arpaio death threat investigation.
According to MCSO, Cox’s postings stated that the Sheriff and his family would be killed:
“I plan to kill Arpaio first. He will be filled with a thousand bullet holes before the year is out. I promise you this. He won’t f*** with Obama. He will be buried 10 feet under and his whole family will be murdered along with him.”

Liberals-there they go again.
What a shame how many Americans priorities are so upside down, backwards and every which way. And who’s to blame ? Hum…… That would be our wonderful Anti-Americans and i’m not talking about the wannabes i’m talking about the full fledge Antis.
OK, if your right wing, you’re labled as a terrorist. So what are left wingers, pacifists? I don’t think so, especially if Adam Eugene Cox is an example of being “pacifist”!
These people who label others “hate mongers” for being simply patriotic should be given a long hard look at, identified, and, if required, placed in jail for hate crimes committed against honest citizens.
Those who threaten others as Adam Eugene Cox has done are the ones that should be in jail, and if they have been involved in altercations such as he has been, parole should not be an option. Keep in mind that parole is an option for those who exhibit good behavior in custody, and criminals that have been shown to be violent CAN behave just long enough to get out of jail early.
Remember, parole is acceptance of trust that good behavior will continue. Sorry, I refuse to trust a person who displays violent behavior.
Wait a minute! The headline says the man was found GUILTY, but the article says he was arrested on a warrant for a different crime and is being investigated for the Arpaio threat.
