The USS Liberty incident was an (((DELIBERATE))) attack on a U.S. Navy intelligence ship, USS Liberty, in international waters about 12.5 nautical miles (23 km) from the coast of the Sinai Peninsula, north of El Arish, by Israeli fighter planes and torpedo boats on June 8, 1967.
It occurred during the Six-Day War, a conflict between Israel and the Arab states of Egypt, Jordan and Syria. The Israeli attack killed 34 U.S. servicemen and wounded at least 173. The attack was the second deadliest against a U.S. Naval vessel since the end of World War II, surpassed only by the Iraqi Exocet missile attack on the USS Stark on May 17, 1987, and marked the single greatest loss of life by the U.S. Intelligence Community.

I watched the video from the link you provided and the most shocking thing I found out from that video was that Lyndon Johnson, a democrat POTUS, purposely sent that ship and crew on a mission that he hoped would end in the loss of the ship and the loss of all those sailors lives in order to justify him getting us involved in the 6 day war.. I’ve no doubt that members of the media knew that back then too, but because it was a democrat president, they didn’t report that it was the orchestrated by the POTUS.
Yet you are only mad at McCain and Israel. It looks like Johnson should be the focus of your anger, for it was he who wanted to sacrifice the ship and it’s crew. It was he who ultimately called back the fighters from coming to the aid of the ship under attack.
Where is your condemnation of Johnson?
I saw another video of Ralph Nader talking about the attack and he laid all the blame on McCain and Israel too. He didn’t even mention Johnson was the one who orchestrated and approved the whole thing.
But I know why Ralph Nader would do such a thing, he is a rabid lefty. But I don’t know you from Adam, so I have to ask why Johnson is not the focus of your anger when it’s likely that Israel would never have attacked one of our ships without the approval coming from some official in the U.S. government.
In this case it happened to be the POTUS Johnson.
Dem presidents truly do treat American citizens a pawns who are to be sacrificed as they see fit in order to achieve their political agendas. I’ve always heard media and dems claim that that’s how Reagan and especially G.W.Bush thought about the lives of our troops, (they just expendable pawns), but for that
to really be true, they’d have to have as much contempt for our armed forces as the dems, and rhinos like McCain seems to have.
it’s just like another current democrat POTUS, who denied support to be provided to Americans who were under attack as a result of the missions they were carrying out as requested by the current administration which resulted in American lives lost. And we know how the media has swept Benghazi

Republican or Democrat they don’t care about anything but getting re-elected so they can vote their own pay raises and lavish lifestyles. They don’t do it for the country anymore. We are in debt because they want us in debt, not because we don’t pay enough taxes. Now on the immigration reform lie, we only have to enforce the laws we have and stop the illegals from coming in and getting our welfare money and like this gentleman said, “they will go home”.
The entire subject is based on lies and “misdirection” by the government. We need a secure border to stop the influx. After that we need immigrants who want to become Americans.
