To help the city’s struggling media, Mayor Bloomberg launched a program Friday to make sure the ailing industry can grow in the future.
The program – MediaNYC 2020 – will be a series of workshops and meetings with print, TV and internet leaders to talk about what the industry will look like in the next decade.
“New York City has long been a global center of media, and as the industry evolves, we want to make sure the city is well-position to attract and support new growth,” said Bloomberg.
