What was the name of the douchebag councilman that made the motion and the name of the other who seconded it? They need to hear from 2nd Amendment supporters from throughout the country about their attempt to trample on the constitution. Congratulations to the Mayor and the rest of the council for standing up to political correctness and their attorney for properly addressing the illegality of what the 2 council members were trying to do. Leave it to a couple of Washington state nut jobs to try such a thing. Disgraceful!
@rbruce, we need to commend the Mayor and the rest of the Council for doing great work and let those other douche bags take their stands. Stand for your rights but do not trample on others. The right and proper thing was done here and so it will be across this great country,but getting down to their levels will only alienate those who are sitting on the fence.
@moommist, I’m not trampeling on anyones rights, simply exercising my 1st Amendment right and calling them out. The fact that these 2 council members, or any public official that take an oath to protect and defend our constitution, should attempt such a thing needs to be called out by the press. Since the press is in the bag for liberals, only bringing attention to the issue will raise awareness and get these people called on the carpet. They were not doing their duty that they swore to therefor they are fair game. Remember, “all it takes for evil to prevail, is for good men to do nothing”. I for one, am sick and tired of the liberal loudmouths thinking their cause is the only cause and berating and belittleing anyone who does not adhere to their version of the facts.
Our rights are not subject to the whims of our fellows! They are absolute and guaranteed by nature and nature’s God.
Of course they must always must be seized,held, and scrupulously maintained as our fellows desire to limit us to advance their cause is insatiable!
