At some point in the future, a political scientist–maybe one not yet even born-will point to Barack Obama’s declaration of war against the Catholic Church as the worst move of many he has made in his inordinately poor campaign for reelection.
Perhaps no other stupid Team Obama move better highlights the gulf between actual Americans and the phony Obama. It reminds us that Obama may (or may not) have been born in America and has spent his parasitical life here, but he is not OF America. He doesn’t understand America, and the overrated schmucks who are advising him don’t either.
They apparently have never bothered to read some basic electoral history. If they had, they would know that no Democrat has ever won the presidency while losing the Catholic vote.
Just as he has done with so many other groups, Obama has not only given Catholics no reason to vote for him, but plenty of motivation NOT to vote for him or anyone who supports him.
In the 2008 election, Catholics voted for Obama 54/46. That margin was, as much as any other, the reason for his election. There are fewer chances that Catholics will be lining up to support Obama this year, as a Pew poll has revealed. What Pew found was that until Obama’s war against the Catholic Church, he was leading with Catholics by 9 points. Today, that lead is gone, and he is behind by 5 points.
This 14 point swing away from Obama translates to 18 million lost votes and major trouble in these states with sizable Catholic populations: Pennsylvania (53%), New Jersey (39%), Wisconsin (29%), Florida (26%), Ohio (24%), and Michigan (24%).
Among Catholics, 29% now say that they are less likely to vote for Barack Obama because of his ham-handed attempt to dictate new secular doctrine to their Church. When juxtaposed to the 13% who say they are now more likely to support Obama’s reelection, the yield is a net minus 16 points. He cannot and he will not survive such a gapping hole in his support. Monday’s 43 lawsuits from Catholic entities was only round one, and Obama is already on the ropes. So far, Cardinal Dolan is way ahead on points.

Let’s stop for a moment and review many of the recent facts. The “Manchurian Candidate” attacked the Catholic’s by demanding that all Catholic institution’s offer contraceptives which is as we all know against the Catholic religion. We also know that many if not most Mexican American’s are Catholic and follow the Catholic doctrine. We also know that he disrespected the Prime Minister of Israel, Netanyahu and suggested that Israel pull back it’s border’s to their pre1967 war. At the same time Hilary Clinton has given hundred’s of million dollars to Hamas. He came out and as much supported Gay’s, which helped him earn a great deal of money for his campaign from Hollywood (what’s that tell us about Hollywood, think that George Clooney might, hey, I won’t go there because I really could care less), but generally African American’s and many if not all religious groups such as Mormon’s are against a gay lifestyle. He also attacked and pretty much destroyed the coal industry that certain states, like West Virginia depended heavily on that industry before Obama unleashed the EPA on them. He impacted the wallets of all American’s by stopping oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, which naturally took a was hundreds of thousands of jobs all of which had a devastating effect on the economies of states that derived a great deal of their revenue from oil production. He also prevented the pipeline from Alberta being built which would have generated many thousands of jobs and at the same time helped to reduce the cost of gasoline. Okay so now let’s recap, he attacked the Catholic’s, he attacked the Jews, he attacked the non gay’s and he attacked industry in general. the question that must now be asked is why would any sane individual attack so many American’s that might have otherwise voted for him? The answer is I believe very simple, in that he does not care who will or will not vote for him, since he knows just like Speaker of the House John Boenher knew to invest in Healthcare Stock and Nancy Pelosi knew to invest in Visa stock, (thanks to insider trading, which just happens to be legal for Senators or Congressmen) that he will remain in power as president one way or another. Nothing else, absolutely nothing else explains why anyone would turn off so many millions of potential voters without giving it a second thought. Another clear example is he could care less what the Supreme Court rules about Obama-care, his signing a twenty million dollar ad campaign to promote Obama-care when we are waiting on the Supreme Courts decision hopefully within the next thirty days proves without a doubt that he could care less what the Justices say. Unfortunately I believe that we are near the end of the road insofar as our freedom is concerned. I pray that I am wrong but all the signs prove otherwise.
I can’t believe any Catholic would vote for him!
Of course Obama can not understand America and Americans because he is so clearly NOT one. It still floors me when I think of being schooled all of my life that it is the free press that helps keep this country free. But after the last 3 1/2 years I and a lot of others now know that this may not be true. After pumping trillions of dollars into the OPEC nations coffers for what? A hundred years now what do you think all of these incredibly wealthy shieks have done with their (our) money, They have bought America’s press. I mean they own the presses, the TV networks and the people who work for them. So the old adage of not beleiving everything you hear and read is truer today than ever. It is sights like this one that presents the opportunity to consider the other side of the issues, right or wrong. At least you can hear both sides now and then make your determination of which way you want to perceive current events. Until of course the man shuts down the internet which will be one of the first things they do when he makes his move towards taking over America.

I agree with Harleyguy. I also have a Harley also and believe that Barry does not care who he offends.If he will do Fast and Furious, which any sane person knows will result in multiple murders, what won’t he do? Answer- He will do anything to remain in power. Intimidation, fraud, fix an election, murder. That is why I believe he will cause a contrived crisis before the election if he is running way behind. Marshall Law, suspend the election, remain in power indefinitely. This guy is capable of anything and everything. All that hollow point ammo DHS ordered can’t be used in war due to the Geneva Convention. That leaves it for us. He is intentionally trying to crash our economy by spending beyond reason. He is trying to cut our energy supply by making us depend on foriegn countries that could and will cut us off if Iran gets crazy.. Another possibility is he will start the war with Iran in October. Our energy supplies will be interupted and a crisis could happen that way. He has the Fed print so much money that it will surely result in high inflation stealing our wealth. . If you think of Barry that way everything he has done makes sense.

It is November 11 – the election was 5 days ago. While Dr. Collins “premise’ was good and should be the case for Catholics such is not the case;. so many are liberal secularists who, instead of listening to the Church, are dictating to the Church.
So this year, more Catholics were pro-Obama than in 2008. I don’t know how they rationalize voting for him-in doing so, they have literally turned their back on God. If I were any one of them, I would be afraid to die.
The Jews have nothing to be proud of, either – to vote for the man who would see Israel obliterated – how does one do that to the land of their heritage?
