Lou Dobbs Signs With Fox Business Network

Former CNN anchor and current radio talk show host Lou Dobbs is joining the Fox Business Network.
The network said Wednesday that Dobbs will host a new daily program that will start in the first three months of next year. He’ll also provide analysis and commentary on business news throughout the network’s day.

Dobbs hosted a popular business-oriented program on CNN for many years that gradually changed into an opinionated general news program.

His campaign against illegal immigration made him a focus of political controversy. He tried to tone things down at CNN’s request but quit a year ago, concluding that it was no longer a good fit.

Since then, he has hosted a weekday syndicated radio show and has contemplated running for political office.

  2. With the likes of "Doberman", "Maddwo -men", etc. there's nothing left worth watching except FOX NEWS! The only other person is Anderson on CNN who tries to tell it correctly, but the lefties won't let him. Matt Lauer should be renamed Matt Liar!

  3. JEANNIEMAC says:

It was not his stance on illegal immigration that got Lou Dobbs kicked out the door.

SUMMARY: Addressing an issue promoted by the far-right "birther" movement, Lou Dobbs repeatedly said on his radio show that President Obama needs to "produce a birth certificate" and that Obama's birth certificate posted online has "some issues" — claims that have been dismissed and even ridiculed by his CNN colleagues

Lou Dobbs Welcome to Fox! I knew you would come and you did! Fox Business truly only can be the number 1 Business Network with Lou Dobbs! Again, welcome to the Fox family Lou Dobbs! We love you!

  5. It must have been hell working in that snakepit at CNN. I sure welcome him at FOX and know that it will be a good fit there.

  6. The only time I ever went to watch anything on CNN, besides the time they had reporters caught in the start of the Baghdad bombing in retaliation to the Kuwait invasion and liberation thereof, is when Lou Dobbs was the moderator of a show, whether financial or news. The old saying that the cream always goes to the top, Lou Dodds being the cream and FOX being the top of cable TV, rings true here. Can't wait to be able to watch and listen to Lou Dobbs again, a true American patriot and a great independent thinker.

  7. if lou can get back in the game, that bodes well for the rest of us truthsayers

  8. Is this the same Lou Dobbs that is a fork tongued liar?

My husband loved him and then he revealed his true colors! Let the illegals in! Never forget these liars America!

I am sure that his homes(plural?) are loaded with illegals! We do not need this man in politics!

  9. I am glad to hear that Dobbs is going with FOX. Mabey now he can continue with his anti-Illegal Immigration talks.

Glad To See That Fox News Hired Lou Dobbs A Real American Can Only Give Fox The Line-Up That The Other Stations Would Just Love, Yippee, Now If They Could Get Rid Of Mustache Man, And Have Miller Time Everyday, Yippee.

  11. This is great news. I used to watch Lou on CNN and he was the only reason that I did watch CNN. He has such a quite gentlemanly like manner and he expresses himself well while enunciating the truth and truth only. He will be a great addition to FOX and I hope they do appreciate him as well.
