Lou Dobbs: My downfall at CNN started when Barack Obama became President
Former CNN veteran Lou Dobbs suggests his form of advocacy journalism fell out of favor when President Obama was elected and his ratings began to decline.
CNN did not want Dobbs to criticize Obama
Dobbs, who had come under fire from watchdog groups because of his on-air, anti-immigration stance, told Bill O’Reilly Monday on the Fox News Channel that he never heard directly from CNN management that he made the network look bad – but there was a tonal change when Obama became President.
“You know, I discern more of a difference between then, which was under the Bush administration whom I was criticizing, and now, when it is the Obama administration and an entirely different tone was taken,” Dobbs said.
Dobbs abruptly resigned from CNN last week after agreeing that he could no longer operate under CNN’s push to avoid airing anchor opinions in prime time.

Thank you for standing up to CNN and saying what you feel is right. What Obama is doing to our great country is UN-American. I can't understand why Obama wants to "Change" this great country to a socialistic state. Keep fighting to find the truth of Obama's birth place. You have the clout to do this and the American people will support and love you for it.

I don't think Lou Dobbs could have been more fair on the "birther" issue. We all have to wonder why Obama has spent $1.4 Million on lawyers to hide his records — all of them. If he's telling the truth, why does he spend so freely to hide it?
Two reasons. Number on is that he's not a natural born citizen and number two, he's not spending his own money so he doesn't care how much it costs. By the time this goes to court, if ever, his first term will be over, as well as the economic life of our Country
Dobbs was the only working bulb at CNN… now they are totally in the dark.
