You’re absolutely right. I think it must be an ego thing, because it surely can’t be a boost to Letterman’s ratings.
I don’t have to wait for Letterman to have Obama on before I turn him out. I haven’t tuned him in at all since I first saw him. To me he is nothing but an egotistical blow-hard. His brand of humor does not impress me in the slightest. If he can’t say anything b ad about non-liberals, he says nothing at all. Evidently, there must be people who like him or his show would have been canceled a long time ago.

AMERICANS DONT HAVE TO BE ROCKET SCIENTISTS TO FIGURE OUT THAT OBAMA IS A HUGE FAILURE. OBAMA DOESNT SEEM TO REALIZE THAT HE IS FINISHED AND AMERICANS ARE HUGELY DISGUSTED BY HIM. Leno speaks the truth, but I don’t watch Letterman ever anymore. He isn’t funny, just mean spirited and cynical. Leno does appear to have a fair amount of gray matter, and seems to be somewhat apolitical, so I don’t think he goes after one side more than the other.

I remember the night Jay Leno anounced the untimely death of comedian Steve Bridges a few months ago. He was obviously shaken up by it. Steve was the comedian who appeared as GW Bush so many times on the Tonight Show and once on stage with GW himself at the Washington Press Club awards a few years back. Steve had morfed into his new Obama routine and was terrific (see Youtube) however he found out the hard way that you DO NOT MOCK MUSLIMS as evidenced by yesterday’s jailing of the maker of “The inocense of Muslims” movie, Nakoula. Like Steve Breibert, who lost his life in the same way two weeks prior to Mr. Bridges, due to the CIA Heart Attack Gun(YouTube), both were found alone in their apts. It is Big Medicine to publicly attack or mock the “the chosen one” as even the coroner who investigated both “murders” wound up dead himself of. yep, a heart attack. I think Jay Leno knows this however the Tonight Show’s policy of everybody is fair game still marches on. Stay the course Jay as America needs to keep the first ammendment.

Interestingly enough that last night on the Tonight Show monologue there were 2 jokes about Romney and one about the Republican party. Nothing on Obama or the democratic party. However I did not see if this was a live show or a rerun in all fairness. However if not then his boss might have called and told Jay to knock it off about Obama.
