I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling and Human Services and have spent my professional career assisting individuals with various mental, emotional, and developmental challenges. As a father of an autistic child, I also have a personal interest in the long-term needs of the disabled community. I realize my son will require life-long support in some form or another, and I’m grateful we live in a country that seeks to provide necessary support services to the most vulnerable among us. However, I am of the strong opinion that the political actions spearheaded by the present administration will ultimately have highly detrimental effects on the current, as well as future, special needs communities.
Universal healthcare, in particular, will likely drive down the payments for skilled therapists and leave our disabled loved ones with few high-quality options in terms of treatment and recovery. The most needy will have more competition for state and federal dollars, a natural consequence of the expansion of recipients related to widespread increases in government dependency. Under a worse case scenario, universal health care could quite possibly deem the most vulnerable, in particular the elderly and disabled, most expendable as their care needs increase and federal funds decrease.
The fact that a high percentage of babies born with Down Syndrome are aborted is tragic in itself; we must be proactive in preventing future atrocities based on the monetary-based decisions of an elite, ‘enlightened’ minority. If we fail to speak out, Paul Krugman and his death panels will have the final say.

It is a funny thing, we were told there was no death panels, tax increases, premium increases, we could keep the insurance we have, could keep our doctors and everyone in America would be covered. No, one year later we find all of that was a lie, none of it is true. All of these things are factually happening today. Now they tell us “we are not planning to confiscate your guns”. We just need a registry so we can keep track of the guns. There are no fema camps, now video’s of them show up on youtube. NO- they are just to help people when disasters hit. Sandy, hits, people are transported to a fema camp, weeks after the storm, they are locked into barracks, allowed out only certain times a day, cell phones, i pads, notebooks are taken away from them, most did not even have heat, could only use bathrooms certain times of day. How do I know this, several had phones with video, they sent the video’s and pictures and told their story when they were “released”! There is nothing this administration has said that is true, they are pushing a Marxist government agenda and if we let them take our weapons, we will see another Holocoust, this time it will be Americans. And like the Jews, there will be no one to stop it. Every American needs open their eyes, and put some real serious thought into this.
I think most of us hesitated to discuss the ACA until the dust settled. Sarah Palin called it very early on stating there would be death panels and the liberals went rabid over it but most liberals today still think this bill is going to be utopia for them. It will have to affect them directly before they’ll see the dinosaur it’s become.
I have no doubt that there are death panels to reduce both the social security pay-outs and the cost of proper health-care for an aging population. Retired people are a drain on America’s economy, in most cases, they do not significantly contribute to the tax coffers, and they tend to drain financial resources, through social security payments, and additional health-care costs.
The death panels can reduce the burden on the financial drain, by determining that those that are old, and no longer contributing significant tax dollars, should not receive any medical services that require a significant cost. A dollar value will be established, and any medical required treatment for an older individual will be denied, if that amount exceeds the pre-determined medical procedure cost.
However, I suspect that there will be sufficient funds available to provide the patient with medication that will reduce their pain until they simply pass away. That is what I believe will happen in the new world order that Obama is looking to transform America into.
What “Death Panels”? Obama and his media shills shrieked for two years that there were NO death panels. Remember the excoriating attacks by the Media on Sara Palin? They howled that there were NO Death Panels.
Now, Krugman is claiming that there is. Someone is LYING again. Either there are Death Panels and OBAMA LIED to get DeathCare passed, or Krugman is LYING now.
These animals LIE as a matter of course. What were yesterday’s lies are today’s truths and vice-versa.
Krugman is not only an economic IDIOT he’s also a patent LIAR. Right? Or was it Obama who was LYING? So confusing …… oh, I get it. The whole freakin’ bunch of them LIE and the Media swears to those LIES.
Well, I’m disabled. So I guess I better turn myself over to a Selection Officer and go to a Death Camp for disposal now. Do they still use ZyklonB? Huh, I didn’t know IG Farben was still in business.

How does one get appointed to a Death Panel? The reason I ask is that I’d like to be on the one that decides Paul Krugman’s fate the next time he needs a life saving procedure.
You get appointed by being a faithful party zealot willing to lower yourself to do whatever your Fuhrer Obama tells you to do. I suppose s victim, elderly, disabled or mentally impaired, gets called before the Panel to justify your existence then either they point to the Left (DEATH) or right (SLAVE LABOR).
Is there anyone at all in the MSM that has a working brain? Or do they all FAVOR the Death Panels and Selection? All of a sudden those non-existent Death Panels that didn’t exist – exist. The Media that staunchly and viciously denied their existence now find some reason to look the other way. How typical of them.
As an illustration, remember a Twilight Zone Episode where the State declared a Librarian “obsolete”? Burgess Meredith portrayed Romney Wordsworth a Librarian and believer in God declared obsolete and ordered to Death. How soon before Obama Health Care Death Panels start taking on other tasks? Like eliminating Christians? What will the “obsolete” list look like in 5 years?

The way things are happening now a days, we may not be alive long enough to see a death panel. The way our Gov’t is being administered these days, I’m not so sure that I want to wait for a Death Panel evaluation.
People were saying that death panels were in 0bamadoesn’tcare even before Pelosi said they had to pass the bill to find out what is in it. Do we really want the IRS to have final say on our healthcare? Get ready for this, Congress isn’t going to do anything. I think Congress should have the same healthcare that their constituents have, then watch it change.

I want a Death Panel list for Congress, NYTimes, all MSM mouths and owners, left liberal organizations, IRS, all government workers, Federal Reserve people and any Federal or State government entity that uses our tax $$ etc that are in the category that Paul Krugman, the monster with the diseased mind of a liberal left Hitler type, is wanting for the average citizen of the USA to be the first to go! That should take care of the ‘death panel’ and we would be rid of the worse of the worse!
