Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer on Tuesday said the White House used David Petraeus’s affair to get the CIA director to give testimony about the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya that was in line with the administration’s position on the matter.

It was not only his fate, as it pertained to his position within the CIA, it was probably threats to his life as well. The Chicago Machine will stop at nothing to allow BO to retain power.

I said the same thing the day this story broke.
i don’t care that he had an affair. that is between him and his wife. if US safety was an issue he would have been taken out long ago, and none of this would have been reported. good luck to the general and his family, may god be with them. i really think that given the chance he would tell all he knows about obama and Benghazi.
