A federal judge on Monday ruled that the entire health care overhaul is unconstitutional, but he stopped short of ordering the federal government to stop implementing it.
Judge Roger Vinson ruled that Congress overstepped its legal bounds when it included the provision requiring nearly all Americans to buy insurance. Because the provision is key to the rest of the law, he declared the whole thing unconstitutional.
Last year, a Virginia judge knocked down the key piece of the law, but he didn’t declare the whole law unconstitutional.
Vinson said the Congress has no right to require Americans to purchase a product.
“Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire Act must be declared void. This has been a difficult decision to reach, and I am aware that it will have indeterminable implications.,” he wrote in his ruling.
The issue is widely expected to eventually reach the U.S. Supreme Court.

It's about time, we need more people in government with this kind of common sense.
Thank the Lord this is a great start for the house of cards to fall in on itself, now can we push to find out if Barry Soetoro is the now famous AKA: Barrak Obama II. We then can rid ourselves of the Supreme Courts Progressive Leftest last two installed Judges who most certainly if given the opportunity will vote against Judge Roger Vinson's ruling calling Obamacare Unconstitutional. Pray to God the last two years can be undone faster than all the left's passing their agenda of Un-American Legislation, a pox on their party.

Finally a judge with the constitution as his bases to his ruling.Naturally Obuma and his muslim followers will take it to the Supreme Court and then we'll se the Justices who know the constitution.
I have a feeling the SC will not hear it. When the text of the ruling is posted I bet it is as narrow as we are being told. If so, there is a good chance it will not be reviewed. Kagan is twisting in her perch along with her pal the Lationo wise mouth.

Folks, this is not a Demo v Rebo issue this is just whats written in the confines of the Constitution, also please keep in mind the authors of this beautiful doucment wrote it so the average person could understand it.
{The Porgressive have so preverted it} to the point that they try and make you feel small or stupid if you don't agree with thier way of seeing it.
So this judge ruled on the merits of that Doucments intent and true meaning.
There are still some good people who are not "self serving Con Artist" in our Government. Thank God.
If there is one justice on a bench who dissents on this law being unconstitutional it is one too many. There are activist judges everywhere who've been smuggled into their posts to subvert the public trust, corrupt it's values and compromise the power of the supreme law at every chance.
WE are going to see another case very soon dealing with gun control. Having the Macdonald case in hand it ought to be considered a breach of the public trust should congress attempt any new legislation unless it repeals already repugnant law. If congress does anything it ought to seek to make uniform all state laws by taking the least intrusive as the model. There is no defending laws that are proven to be infringements by the records of a single state not respecting them. Thank god for the tenth amendment. Make it work for all.

Well now, that doesn't say much for the people who passed it does it? Once again we will watch for the now polluted SC to issue it's version but most importantly we should look to that court not just as a court but as a branch of government that is equally able to subvery OUR constitution in favor of it's own ideological interests. Their opinion will be the test of ideological subversion v obediance to the founding intent. I predict the SC not even hear the case as it is blatantly obvious the triumvirite acted omnipotently on about every issue. I only wish the court had not violated the prohibition on allowing an ex post facto law to stand. That was a despicable ruling not unlike the disenfranchisement of our right to redress. I hope in 2012 there begins a new court that will set these past bad rulings straight our of respect for our founding principles and nothing else.
Yes, a court ruled Obamacare unconstitutional. It seems, however, that the further you go up the judicial foodchain, the greater the corruption. Case in point – Chicago and Rahm Emanuel's new status of eligibility to run for Mayor.
I just thank God that America does really have some honest intellegent Judges. I have been rejoicing since I heard the verdict, and thinking just at that moment, it could get much better than that right at the moment, I just pray ow that when it goes to the Supreme Court, and those liberal judges, escpecially the ones that Obama backed will bbe truely Honest enough to say the same thing, because the Majority of America knows that ObamaCare is unconsitutional, there is only a few that feels as if it isn't, and consitional and those are the ones who continuely have their hands out for freebees, and have no problem having others work for them to pay their part, or should I say the liberals. If part of Obamacare is unconstitutional, I don't understand why the whole bill isn't. Our politicians seem to have no "balls". Is our Judicial people also "balless"?
That's what this Judge Vinson's decree says; since the individual mandate is unseverable the whole is unConstitutional. The problem is that he didn't order implementation of it halted!

This is a marvelous deveopment along with the Virginia judge who first ruled part of Obamacare unconstitutional. If the Supreme Court finds against this in the obvious light of the fact that 26 states are agaisnt the law and want it repealed, there will be an insurection and if that is what is needed, so be it. If responsible Justices find as they should, it will be the beginnnig of taking our civil; liberties back from this Marxist administration and hopefully, at some point the lapdog 112th Congress will grow some cojones and go after Obama's personal records and the disputed if invisible and non-existent birth certificate. To find he was indeed inelegible would be a wonderful thing for us all, It would invalidate ALL his legislation and subject Pelosi and Reid to investigation for conspiracy along with Obama's major supporters. SIMPLY MAHVELOUS!
And by the time it works its way through the SCOTUS, it will be implemented and no going back, just as the UK and others are stuck with an unsustainable system that doesn't provide health care in reality for the people it's intended to protect; only those in Congress and who are given opt out waivers will have any real health care in the US!
Health care reform is needed but this bill was not the answer. It is nothing but a bill to produce more Government employees and destroying a health care system that is second to none. We do need to stop the free health care to "Undocumented Works". They have cost hospitals and insured people a lot of money. Then we do need to cover Real Americans that are less fortunate and not by their own accord. That is all I have to say about that.

The Supreme Court will indeed be in the blazing spotlight of justice, if they refuse to hear the case then we know for certain that the infiltration of Progressive legislate from the bench judges such as the last two Obama put on the court is certain. I believe in reading all the blogs on this subject today is a great indication that we the American people are awake and will hold them accountable one day very soon. Thank you Judge Roger Vinson you are the second shot in defense of our great United States Constitution; you know who in the Judicial have been inserted in our court system who want to ignore the simple language of the Constitution and are working with the progressive movements, you should prepare yourself for the onslaught of the negative backlash that will come your way. A long overdue ruling. Now that it has been ruled unconstitutional in its entirety I expect Vinson will be forced to resign or impeached. There is NO WAY Liberals will allow a judge who threatens their power to remain in office.
