It’s clear. There will be no stopping Obamacare. There will be no justice on Benghazi-gate. There will be no stopping Barack Obama’s unconstitutional usurpations and abuses of power as long as John Boehner holds the reins of power as the Republican Speaker of the House.
It’s time for John Boehner to retire. He should let a younger leader, with more will to fight Obama, take leadership in the US House.
The situation is so dire that without new leadership, the Republican Party could actually dissolve into rival factions. He is even considering caving into Barack Obama’s drive for a massive tax increase. We stand on the precipice of a total capitulation of the Republican agenda by Speaker Boehner.
We need real leaders to challenge Obama. As long as John Boehner remains Speaker of the House, Obamacare will remain the law of the land.
Back on July 1, 2012, just four short months ago, Boehner marched in front of the cameras on “Meet the Press” and vowed to do whatever it takes to stop Obamacare. Practically thumping his chest, he said: “It has to be ripped out by its roots.” And he added: “We will not flinch from our resolve to make sure this law is repealed in its entirety.”
Taking him at his word, 127 members of the House, led by Representatives Jim Jordan and Michele Bachmann, reminded Mr. Boehner that he had the ability to actually keep that promise and signed off on a letter asking Boehner to take the lead and allow the House of Representatives to finally wield its legitimate and constitutionally-granted power of the purse to “rescind all Obamacare implementation funds.”
Don’t be deceived by anything you hear on the nightly news; the sad and simple truth is that John Boehner and House Republicans already had – and still have – the power to stop the implementation of Obamacare.
They had that power from the very day that Republicans gained control of the House of Representatives back in January of 2011, and they have that power at this very moment.
Mr. Boehner simply needs to hold a simple up-or-down vote in the GOP-controlled House of Representatives to deny Obamacare funding, and Barack Obama and Harry Reid can’t do anything to stop it. It really is that simple.
The problem is not that Republicans can’t stop the implementation of Obamacare. The problem is that the so-called GOP Leadership won’t stop Obamacare, and that’s why we need a change in leadership.
So what’s Boehner’s excuse?
Boehner apparently has his reasons. We call them excuses. His surrogates argued that Boehner’s refusal to fund Obamacare could set the stage for Barack Obama to exact his revenge by ordering a “government shutdown” and blame it on Republicans.
We say let Mr. Obama take his best shot. At some point, the rubber has got to meet the road.
We don’t need to concede defeat. A “government shutdown” is not only not as bad as you’ve been lead to believe; it’s also the last thing Barack Obama wants. It puts a stop to Obama’s out-of-control spending.
What we need is a true leader at the helm who is not afraid to call Barack Obama’s bluff and negotiate from a position of strength, and that man is not John Boehner.

This is EXACTLY why I’m a member of the Constituion Party. The next election would be the time to have a Constition Party candidate because that President, if elected would stop all of this horsehockey and put trust and accountability back into government.
John Boehner has very little power. Remember, he is blocked by Harry Reid, Democratic leader of the senate and Obama Democreatic leader of that party. The House’s hands are pretty well tied with reid tabling every bill sent and Obama stating he will veto every bill they pass and also, his statement that the House may pass bills, but Obama will dfetermine if they are coostitutional. I do believe that is up to the Supreme Court and not the president. Do you see us heading to a dictatorship?
John Boehner might do a better job if he had a spine. He talks a good game, but when he faces Obama he cowers like a whipped puppy.
What really happens is that Obama ignores him, refuses to take his calls and rips him out when they meet.
Obama has no intention of negotiating with the republicans in any way. He never has and he has not changed.
That’s not true. ALL spending MUST originate in the house. The big problem is that the leaders (I wish there was a lower case font I could type that word with) in the house have rolled over on everything that’s been placed in front of them. The 2010 elections offered so much promise and because of Boehner and his ilk we have been brought to this sad state. I really feel that it is going to have to come to an actual revolt of somekind. This state of the Union cannot continue for long. I hope I’m wrong but…….
I’m sorry, I meant my reply to the comment that Boehner had no power. The 3 branches are meant to have equal power, but the house actually has a little more power because they supposedly closely represent the voters back home and are, again supposedly in tune with the actual will of the people back home. SUPPOSEDLY!!!!
When they are blocked by Reid and Obama, they have very little power. It is a known fact that if Obama does not like what the House does, he signs an Executive Order which cuts them out and that is why he does it. He just simply bypasses them. their hands are tied.
You are wrong. It is the president who has brought us to this point. He bypasses the House on spending and you know that as well as I do. He signs an Excutive Order which bypasses the House. He totsally ignores the House and their hands are tied. I’m tired ot the republicans being blamed for everything when it is a known fact thast the democreats and liberals brought us to this point. wake up and smell the coffee.
I agree with you about the democrats and liberals being the root cause of all the spending and that Obama has unconstitutionally bypassed the house on a lot of things, but the fact remains that the Boehner bunch have signed off on all the major bills. Plus if they had backbone they would never have allowed Obama to get away with what he has done. You are right about what has happened but according to the constitution it should not have happened. We are all on the same side.
I don’t believe any one casn stop this president from jding whathe weants to. He is vindictive denough to stop you in your traqcks nd that is obvious. what do you want boehner to do? Bills have been passed by the House but tabled by HarryRreid. Why don’t you go after him? He is the one stopping progress, not Boehner. The dermocratic party is the arty with the power and they use it to their own benefit. Quit chastising the republicans. go after the ones who are ruining our counttry – the dems, the liberals and the left.
Would you dare to continue ignoring the brazen attitude and whitewash provided by a once trusted TV media public watchdog? Is not their complicity in the two party blind trust agenda cancer consuming the minds of the electorate evident at the fiscal cliff rising by congressional actions perpetrated on the US public since the turn of the last century?
With others like Obama, Reid and Boehner waiting in the wings with party designation held above patriotism, little change can be expected. Such blind party allegiance will continue the subversion of justice and promote more treasonous denial off their sworn oaths of office now having consumed all claiming the security of either. Therein lies the fate of all patriots bearing the cause of party independence while being media painted as unelectable.
As long as the electorate continues marching to the music from the Pied Piper of Media with the UN seeking to grab control of the internet how can patriotism survive short of armed revolution? Will patriots be confined to FEMA facilities as were Native Americans confined to reservations for objecting to government overreach?
How can any individual from any branch or agency thereof ever be held accountable to the electorate in such a corrupt corporate controlled system consumed by insider trading and long running conspiracies but by Article ll, Sections 2 & 4 impeachment doomed to last for twenty years from potential overload? It would appear that their mass neurosis has matured into full blown psychosis void of any fear of the consequence of full blown revolution. Both honor and fear of death seem to have been abandoned along with dueling.
The Supreme court is bought and paid for and crying towel Boehner has no balls.
Boner is a pussy he can’t stand up to nothing sometime i think he is sleeping with obumer
Is the Constitution Party very big, I’m not sure that I have heard of them. We have to do something and it sure doesn’t look like we can depend on Republicans or Democrats. I would appreciate any information you can give.
Here is their website, Barb: http://www.constitutionparty.com/
Personally, I like these guys. I would highly recommend checking out their principles and platform I pretty much agree with everything they have to say.
Feel free to tell me what you think!
John Boehner has been a disappointment.
Do you really think if the House impeached him that the senate will hold a trial? Reid will table it just as he tables everything else coming from the Hous.. WAKE UP and use your brain.
He’ll never retire. Power is intoxicating, and he’s way over the limit.
You are referring to Obama, aren’t you?
FIRE BOEHNER!!!! He is a hopeless waste of space. He has done NOTHING for the people. He has been on that hill way to long and needs to be sent down the hill indefinitely!
That goes for the majority of the people in Wash.d.c.. 90 per cent of them fall into one of two categories. either have been there too long and the ones that should have never walked in the door, and that goes double for the one in the Whitehouse.
Some how, we need to get term limits on congressman, just like the president. Being a congressman was never intended to be a lifetime job.
You don’tknow what you are talking about. there are mafny democrats that need to glo. How about Reid, Pelosi, Franks, Franken, Scultz, Boxer, Rangel, Watters just to name a few who think only of themselves and are corrupt. asll democrats.
Blah! Blah! Blah!
Foolish diatribe.
Why do we have a Republican Party? Conservatives have to fight the Obama Gestapo while dragging the Republicans along behind, anyway. Now they want to compromise because Obama tells them that is the way of progress. One question, was compromise the way forward when Obama got the stimulus money to reward supporters? No. Was it used to pass legislation by Executive Order rather than go through Congress? No. Was it compromise when Obama appointed his Czars to avoid Congress? No. How did that compromise work when the Healthcare bill was illegally passed with bribes, threats and backroom deals? not very well(will of the people? you’ve got to be kidding.) So now Obama wants compromise. Wash.d.c. has proven the only way to solve the economy is to let it crash, then start over. I say Fiscal Cliff, here we come, that is the only logical option. To save the economy, Obama killed it let him eat it.
I will ask you – ehy do we hvae a Demoratic Party? They are so left and so enamored with themselves and being muslims and desire to have Sharia Law, who needs them?
Good question! Why DO we have a Republican Party? They both love debt, taxes, more regulations, and disregarding our founding documents. Of course, those who listen to their rhetoric are just being scammed.
Next question why DO we have a Democratric Party? The demorats are godo at scamming people aren’t they? they lie, they pss bills they have never read, they pass bills that hurt us rather than help us, they have done nothing about the economy, the jobless situation, the housing situation and they don’t want to hear your complaints because they could care less about you. They hate anyone with money (Obama particularly except Warren Buffet). They hate the constitution and pay no attention to it. Gee, what a wonderful party. Why don’t you all go join this great party who scams, lies, breaks the law, embraces Sharia nd cares nothing about you.
To wspires45. ABSOLUTELY AGREED!!!!!
wspires45 Why do we have you?
When Esther was made Queen, Mordecai encouraged her to summon up all the courage she could to confront and influence the king at her own peril (she could have been executed) in order to save her people. He told her that perhaps she was placed in that position “for such a time as this,” that is, God had let her ascend to the throne for her to be in that position to fulfill His (God’s) purposes. John Boehner thinks he has been put in the position of Speaker to act like a wimp and not a noble American, and to kick certain national suicidal cans down the road until America collapses, after all Dianne Sawyer and Anderson Cooper and Chris Matthews might speak poorly of him. Step aside, Boehner, America needs a leader, a patriot, a courageous person as Speaker who will make those tough decisions, let the chips fall where they may and try to reverse that Un-Americanevil called Obamacare. Damn the torpedos!
Your problem is with the wehite AHouse and the democratic senate – not Johjn boehner. What do you want Boehner to do when the president treats himj like he doersn’t exist, won’t accept anyuthing he sdays, nd tells him it is his way or not at all. Your fight is with the democrats – not John Boehner. As far as wehat the cnstitution states, youneedf to tell Obama what it states. He is the one that ignores it – not Boehner nor the republicans.
Our hopes were raised by the historic election of 2010 in which we assumed control of the House. Little did we know that there would be little benefit from that result and that the primary reason would be the selection of John Boehner as the Speaker. Since 2010 our focus has been on one enemy, Barack Obama, to insure that he is not reelected in 2012. In doing so our attention was deflected from another enemy, the Speaker of the House. Obama won the 2012 elections, whether legitimately or not, and there’s little that can be done short of impeachment to remove him. Let’s not hold our breath on impeachment. The time has come to realize that we need to clean house in the Republican Party and we should start with Mr. Boehner. The Republican Congress has been weak, feckless, and cowardly under this wimp’s direction and the Party itself is suffocating for lack of real leadership. Between now and 2016 we must focus our efforts on purging the party of moral cowards who neither have conservative principles nor are able to communicate or defend them against the Left’s scurrilous attacks and denouncements. Boehner may have the Republican label but he is nothing less than Obama’s water boy in reality.
Bull, it woudnot have been different no matter who was speaker. get over it. Obama holds the whip.
Are any of you protesting in front of Boehner’s home, or Cantor’s home, or Obama’s home? We know all we need to know to do what we have to do. Escalate of capitulate. http://elect.ErnestHuberForCongress.com/
And what is that going to accomplish? Absolutely nothing. If you really want something to happen, do it the right way. All protesting does is cause problems for everyone involved, people get hurt and you have solved nothing. Are we going to imitate the middle east and their mindless protesting? Act like adults who think.
If you are championing protesting in front of people’s homes, you are the last man we need in Congress.
To me it is all the republicans in the house we need to get rid of. The president may have won another election but 47% of the people did not vote that way, and they are the informed. We voted in republicans to take a stance and if they can’t do their jobs, they need to resign. You noticed they didn’t vote all democrats in if they wanted this adm to get their way on everything like more debt. I am disgusted by most of them.
And especially the Senate. Exactly what have they been doing for months. All the bills sent to them by the house are just laying dormant. Every bill needs an up or down vote so that we, the taxpayers, know their stances.
What are they supposed to do when they are blocked by Reid and the president? They only have the majority in the House, which means almost nothing. If you really paid atteniton, you would know that the president has made no effort to work out anything with th AHouse and when the first negotiations with Geithner, or someone other tha the president do not work, he flise off in Air Force One campaigning. How can thrre be negotiations with someone that does that? He has no intention of negotiating anything with the House – never has and rever will. Why is it all the republicans’ fault that the dems will not negotiate? Try – just try- putting the blame where it belongs – on the democrats. Get rid of them they are the ones destroying this country – not the republicans. What about that don’t you understand? Try listening to the news and find out what is going on.
The party we need to get rid of is the demoratic party. You complain sbout the republican party, but then describe the demoratic party,. Do you rerally know what you are talking about? the republican have nothign to dow ith the senate – the majority leader is Harry Reid who is a democrat. why don’t you want to get rid of him? You complain about the senate and the bills lying dormant. What has that to do with the republicans? Why are you blaming the republicans for that? I don’t think you even know what you are talking about.
The checks are signed in the house and the speaker is the one that will cave on every thing that comes along
What a stupid comment. The president is the one that will not negotiate any other way but his. What about that don’t you understand? Kind of hard to negotiate with someone running around the country campaigning for his causer and to h-ll with negotiating. All he knows how to do is campaign and when that is said , that’s done.
They are all subject to the irreversible provisions provided in Article ll, Sections 2 and 4. of the US constitution which they swore to protect and defend in their required oath of office. Their disregard of their sworn oath by definition can be no less than treason. However, like taxes, all impeachment proceedings must arise in the house to be tried in the senate with the supreme court chief justice presiding. The deck is stacked, Where the heck is Wyatt Earp? The 10% gang is no longer satisfied 40% today. Can Joe Arpaio please stand?
Tthat also applies to the democrats.
A thought,to hell with both the House and Senate,We the People have the power to bring this country and
both of them to it’s knees, the people who are working and paying taxes to pay them and all the freeloaders in
this country lets band together, pick a time and go out on strike, this goverment doesn’t run on air. They are
supposed to be working for us so lets fire everyone of them. We’ve heard enough B.S.from Washington to
last a couple of lifetimes.Anyone have an idea, besides a Revolution to straighten this country out???
Are you all kidding? That is letting him off too easy … he is guilty of conspiracy or complicity in treason, for allowing the usurper to continue in office and refusing to do anything about it! And … that is only one of a lot of things he did against the patriots and America. This is disgusting!
Go after Harry Reid. He is the one that is stopping all actions from the House. Use your brain and actually know what is going on. Boehner is not to blame for the inaction of the senate – Reid is. Stop jumping on the republicans for not mkking the dems and the president behave. they are not their caretakers. Have some common sense and act like mature people who think for a chasnge. the negotiations are not working because with Obama it is his way or the highway and it is not Boehner’s fault.
I have never said that Boehner is the only problem … There is plenty of others, Reid is one, Pelosi, Schumer, and so on … We were talking about Booher, and thus I talked about him … He knew and set it up so that we do not do anything about the usurper, and constantly brown-nosed him … “Mr President”? … “The people have spoken”? (despite the fact that there is a clear evidence of voter fraud) … The Tea Party is dead? … and so on … those words are from Reid?
NO … Booher is not clean.
We do need to get all of them out, excepting for those very few like the Pauls, West, maybe Ryan, Issa, etc …
I feel I need to add this …
The biggest thing with Boehner is that he does have power to really cause Obama be thrown out of office, despite of Reid or whoever else …
He can check into the eligibility issue, and demand proof … but instead, he said, “… that is good enough for me …” concerning a court ruling …
Despite of all things that have been brought out since, like that investigation of Arpaio, Zullo, and others … he is still refusing to do his job.
He does not care!
That reason alone is enough
From what I have researched, he does not have that power.
The Congress do have a right to vet the president … the courts said so .. in fact it is one of the excuses the courts constantly used to avoid ruling on the issue of eligibility themselves (or to throw out and suppress challenges filed in courts, to allow the usurper to continue in the office) … that is one way …
The other would be to launch investigation into the voting fraud, and publicize it
Yet another would be that he could do what is being done with the Fast and Furious, to publicize the facts uncovered …
The biggest problem is that they (he) allowed the issue to be buried and time to go by, making it harder and harder to do anything about.
The Congress that should have vetted Obama was the Demoratic Congress since they were i power when he ran for president – not the arepublicans. In regard to Fastt and Furious, it is being handled by the Oversight Committee of the House and you are wrong that it is being coverd up and buried. It is still being investigated but they are getting no cooperation from the WH. Investigating voting fraud is up to the FBI and is being taken care of. Not everytnhign is boehner’s job. there are cvommittees and orgnizations that take care of certain items. You need to do more research instead of blaming Boehner for everything. Basically, research what his job consists of. He is not the head of the Legislative Branch of the government. that is thje department of Justice and the Senate’s job.
yes, the Congress was Democratic then, but that is changed … Republicans are in power over the House now, and here’s another chance now, with this re-election … haven’t heard anything about it … guess it is still “good enough” for him …
and about Fast and Furious … yes, I know it is not yet over, but the pattern is holding … too much time had gone by, taking it out of the spotlight (same is happening with the murders in Libya), lessening the pressure … I have seen that happen over and over … (BTW. where is Issa now?) I bet this would all end up in settling over in a very minor way … focusing on Holder and some others, but not Obama … I freely admit that I may be wrong here, as I am no prophet
I agree not all is his “job”, but he is head of the House and the buck stops with him as far as the House is concerned …
