The White House has identified 19 executive actions for President Barack Obama to move unilaterally on gun control, Vice President Joe Biden told a group of House Democrats on Monday, the administration’s first definitive statements about its response to last month’s mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Later this week, Obama will formally announce his proposals to reduce gun violence, which are expected to include renewal of the assault weapons ban, universal background checks and prohibition of high-capacity magazine clips. But Biden, who has been leading Obama’s task force on the response, spent two hours briefing a small group of sympathetic House Democrats on the road ahead in the latest White House outreach to invested groups.
The focus on executive orders is the result of the White House and other Democrats acknowledging the political difficulty of enacting any new gun legislation, a topic Biden did not address in Monday’s meeting.
The executive actions could include giving the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention authority to conduct national research on guns, more aggressive enforcement of existing gun laws and pushing for wider sharing of existing gun databases among federal and state agencies, members of Congress in the meeting said.

The Bushmaster AR-15 and similar civilian weapons that Feinstein et al are demonizing and want to ban are NOT assault rifles at all. Don’t give the gun banners any leeway on these lies and distortions. Their intent is to confuse and misinform those who don’t know any better. In other words, they’re lying.
Tell people the truth … tell them that the AR-15 is not really functionally different than other rifles except that it outwardly RESEMBLES the M-16/M4 machine gun that our troops use. (For reasons of economy in manufacturing, the inherent reliability and maintainability of the underlying design, and other factors, there are a lot of common parts, but the important ones that determine function are designed to preclude illegal conversion to fully-automatic operation like the military weapons with which the gun-banners want you to confuse them.)
The guns they want to ban are NOT machine guns, as the gun grabbers and media try to convince you. They do NOT “spray bullets” as military weapons do. However their outward appearance, combined with deliberate untruths and the use of incorrect terminology, makes it easier for the deceivers to demonize these guns as they try to build support for banning them. (Which is, of course, just a step towards further bans in the future.)
Also impress up on people that the AR-15 and functionally similar guns are NOT “only suitable for a war zone” as the ban’s proponents and media personalities keep saying, but that they are, in fact, NOT really suitable for combat use at all because of their limitations. (Our troops would be SERIOUSLY out-gunned if they went into battle with AR-15s.)
Further, they are not “heavy weapons” as some of the media people keep saying. Inform people of the factual reality that these weapons are actually considerably LESS powerful than most of their grandpa’s deer rifles – to the point that in many states it’s illegal to hunt game larger than groundhogs and coyotes with the .223/5.56mm round that the AR-15 fires.
The public has to be informed so that they understand that they are deliberately being misled and misinformed by the media to advance the citizen disarmament agenda of leftist tyrant wannabes in our government. (These same people through DHS and other alphabet agencies have recently purchased over 1.5 BILLION rounds of ammo – enough to shoot every man, woman, and child in the country 3-4 times – ammo that’s illegal for military use under international law). Considering that you and I and all of the other US taxpayers are paying for all of this ammo, it’s frighteningly reminiscent of the story of political prisoners’ families being forced to pay for the bullets used to execute them … isn’t it?
If we allow these leftist control freaks to ignore and ultimately gut the 2nd Amendment, history will inevitably repeat itself. These “gun control” proposals have NOTHING to do with preventing crime, but EVERYTHING to do with CONTROL.

Seems the State of Wyoming is thinking similar to the State of South Carolina. SC wants to give jail time to the Feds or anyone supporting ObamaCare in the state. SC is actually practicing Nullification! Now Wyoming is thinking similar concerning the 2nd Amendment. Any Feds messing around the state of Wyoming concerning gun control can get up to 5 years jail time. Again this is state nullification at work.
So, here is my thoughts for anyone who thinks them useful. Looks to me concerning the 2nd Amendment the Feds window of opportunity is about closed and congress will do nothing. However Obama could actually call an Executive Order, which I think would be great! At the same time, since time is on our side, and considering SC and WY are now considering nullification of Federal Law, looks to me people in general, specifically in the South and Red states should go on the offensive. Many state legislatures from ALL states should be contacted and start their procedures of nullification preempting any future gun control legislation.
In the case of the 2nd Amendment and states passing preemptive laws against Federal intrusion. State legislatures, especially Southern State legislatures are more likely to respond against such Marxist/liberal actions coming from DC, and that is because these states has a little more morality and human understanding than does the DC government.
Driven by the fact that even many humanists and others besides Christians supports the 2nd Amendment for various reasons, it derives support across the spectrum. This would be one of the more easier tasks to take to the Federal Government in trying to off set their agendas. Drive a wedge between the states and DC gov. and this would be a good way to help accomplish that. For this purpose it would matter little the faith of others helping in our cause, as this would be strictly a one time affair.
We know the elite wants this country divided and polarized. They are currently looking for another Fort Sumter in order to justify any reason to use force having heavy hands. I don’t expect they would be anticipating this backlash from a 2nd Amendment standpoint, as they felt comfortable enuff to pull of a couple or few mass shooting in hopes of justifying a quick action and vote to enforce gun control. What I am saying is actually they will get the opposite result from what they had hoped for, and it will cost them. And this will only anger and force them to act faster because they know time is no longer on their side. The pendulum of the paradigm shift has reversed course.

The purpose of the Second Amendment is to ensure our FREEDOM from public and private tyrants by endorsing our God-given right to shoot them in self-defense. Logically, anyone trying to deny us this right is also a tyrant and must be quickly neutralized to prevent the genocides that follow when psychopaths have disarmed societies using bogus pretexts. The incremental low-intensity communist insurgency that we’ve not been effectively fighting will destroy America unless we quickly acquire a fierce mindset and do whatever is necessary to defeat it.
