Jihadists among the Libyan rebels revealed plans last week on the Internet to subvert the post-Moammar Gadhafi government and create an Islamist state, according to U.S. intelligence agencies.
U.S. officials said spy agencies are stepping up surveillance of Islamist-oriented elements among Libyan rebels. A government report circulated Tuesday said extremists were observed “strategizing” on Internet forums about how to set up an Islamist state in Libya after the regime of Col. Gadhafi is defeated.
“Several forum participants have suggested that, following a transitional stage, the battle should turn against secularist rebels and members of the [rebels’] Transitional National Council,” the unclassified report stated.
Some U.S. officials sought to play down the remarks by noting that such Internet postings are not always accurate measures of jihadist plans.
The report said the jihadists’ strength and influence on the ground “are uncertain at this time.”

The news media has provided little (none that I found) factual justification why NATO and USA has incited, supported, and directed the ‘revolt and war against Libya’s regime’. Does Libya have offensive armament or poise a threat to other nations? No, but research what they have:
•Positive trade balance, primarily from oil.
•Little debt and refused investments (loans) from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and One World Bank (OWB).
•A nearly completed self funded $25 Billion “Great Man Made River” project to provide the Middle East’s largest pristine water source to their people and to develop an agricultural system as a major bread basket for Europe and Africa.
•Independence from and disdain for the one world governors! Research the Bilderberg, Council of Foreign Relations, and Trilateral Commission that runs the UN and its IMF and World Bank.
The CFR and Trilateral commission run our government!! Esp. under Obozo, our Liar in Chief…ALL his cabinet were CFR people…We are now seeing what it is they want with this country!!

Yes, Lockerbie Bomber and the Cole incident were based in Libya! However, it was our UN Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad who, in the 1980’s, developed and arranged ‘State Department’ funding to Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda Jihad training to oust Russian forces from the Pakistani pipe-lines (to protect the IMF investments). Both incidents were originated and developed by Al Qaeda. So now it was Gaddafi that instigated the US trained jihadist operations and 20 years later we retaliate? Do some research folks!
Does this really surprise anyone? kadaffi didn't want to share power with them so they simply outgunned him using a lot of American weapons, aircraft and ammunition. Our wonderful (???) president gave the rebels (Muslim brotherhood) full cooperation and backing by ordering our airforce to bombard kadaffi's troops. Am I a Kadaffi supporter? Not by a long shot! But I do think a wiser play would have been to let them fight it out without our help. As far as I am concerned we have simply jumped out of the proverbial frying pan and into the fire by getting involved.
