The Islamic State has issued a list of names and churches in Western countries to target over the Christmas season, according to a new report from Vocativ.
A user operating under the name of “Abu Marya al-Iraqi” has called “for bloody celebrations in the Christian New Year” and plans on turning the holiday into something akin of a “bloody horror movie.”
The unknown terrorist uses the “Secrets of Jihadis” group on Telegram — an encrypted website and social media app — to transmit his violent messages. Vocativ explains the group is known to provide manuals detailing how to prepare various weapons and explosives.

Marya’s states his plan is to force unbelievers to “hide inside their burrows during their holidays and regret for the participation of their countries in the war against The Islamic State.”
“The lone wolves will turn the streets into rivers of blood, by ramming, exploding and poisoning,” he wrote in the pro-ISIS social media group.
The message also calls upon the “sons of Islam” to attack “churches, well-known hotels, crowded coffee shops, streets, markets and public places.”

Four Western countries were listed as potential targets: Canada, France, the Netherlands, and the U.S.
ISIS has already taken responsibility for Monday’s horrific attack at a Christmas market in Berlin, which is now the deadliest attack on German soil since 1980. Authorities have already named Anis Amri, a Tunisian man, as their prime suspect.
A list of targets is nothing new for ISIS — in June a group calling itself the United Cyber Caliphate distributed a “kill list” which included the names, addresses and email addresses of 8,318 people.
According to Vocativ, the targets ranged from Minnesota cops to State Department employees and ordinary Americans.

Earlier in December, the Islamic State warned it would be ramping up its attacks against Christians and escalate its “war on polytheism.”
The terrorist group claimed credit for the Dec. 11 bombing of a Coptic church in Cairo, Egypt. The attack, which occurred in the women’s section during Sunday mass, ended up taking the lives of 24 people.
ISIS released a statement on the incident: “Let all the disbelievers and apostates in Egypt and everywhere know that our war on polytheism is ongoing, and that the State of the Caliphate – with permission from Allah the Almighty – will continue to spill their blood and grill their bodies, so that there is no sedition and the religion is all for Allah.”
