Editors Note: The following list was sent to me last night by conservative researcher Steve Baldwin. It is sure to spark controversy, and I wanted to bring it to your attention. Please read, follow sources, and comment below with what you think and share with your friends using Facebook, Twitter, and Linked-In to get their input. If you have a blog, please link here so we can get the discussion going in the conservative movement. This is a very serious question as Gingrich is pulling into the top tier for the nomination. –Floyd Brown

“The idea that a congressman would be tainted by accepting money from private industry or private sources is essentially a socialist argument.”Newt Gingrich

“[O]ur government, at all levels, must be modernized to successfully partner, let alone compete, with the private sector.” – Newt Gingrich, A Contract with the Earth (p.196)

“The U.S. government operates endowments for the humanities and the arts…Perhaps, it is time we consider a new endowment for conservation and the environment.” – Newt Gingrich, A Contract with the Earth (pp. 115-116)

“We agree that there is plenty of evidence that global climate change is occurring…While humanity is certainly causing its fair share of the change, scientists are still not able to precisely pinpoint the extent of the change, or the margin of error in their estimates.” – Newt Gingrich,A Contract with the Earth (p. 200)

“In spite of the demonstrated liberal leanings in academia, we have nothing but respect for the nation’s scientists. They represent America’s best hope to protect the environment. We support a dramatic increase in science and technology research and development because we desperately need to understand global climate change and other environmental phenomena.” – Newt Gingrich, A Contract with the Earth (p. 201)

“If you import a commercial quantity of illegal drugs, it is because you have made the personal decision that you are prepared to get rich by destroying our children. I have made the decision that I love our children enough that we will kill you if you do this.” – Newt Gingrich (source)

“What we’re being told is that free trade with Mexico would devastate the U.S. economy. With its low wages, Mexico would unleash a flood of cheap imports into our markets. There would be a mass exodus of U.S. factory jobs, as hordes of American companies fled across the border…. All this is scare talk.” – Newt Gingrich, on the House floor 9/22/1993. (source)

Q: “Will you rally the troops for GATT and the World Trade Organization?”
A: “Yes. In the first place, the Administration has accepted amendments of Senator Dole and myself giving Congress dramatically more oversight of the WTO, including the right to bring up a vote on withdrawal every five years in perpetuity, so at any point that we think it is out of control or inappropriate, we can simply withdraw.” – Newt Gingrich, 11/11/1994 (source)

“The American challenge in leading the world is compounded by our Constitution. Under our [constitutional system] – either we’re going to have to rethink our Constitution, or we’re going to have to rethink our process of decision-making.” He went on to profess an oxymoronic belief in“very strong but limited federal government,” and pledged, “I am for the United Nations.” – Newt Gingrich, July 1995, speech at the Center for Strategic & International Affairs (source)

“I think we’re seeing around the world an emerging Third World War from North Korea to Pakistan to India to Afghanistan to Iraq and Iran to the increasing alliance between Venezuela and Iran to the British terrorists who are getting trained in Pakistan.” – Newt Gingrich, 2006, interviewwith Greta Van Sustren

In March 1993, I got an assistance program I could support: $1.6 billion in direct aid to help Russia stabilize. Although a public poll said that 75% of the American people were opposed to giving Russia more money, and we were already in a hard fight for the economic plan, I felt we had no choice but to press ahead. American had spent trillions of dollars in defense to win the Cold War; we couldn’t risk reversal over less that $2 billion and a bad poll. To the surprise of my staff, the congressional leaders, including the Republicans, agreed with me. At a meeting I convened to push the plan, Senator Joe Biden, the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, strongly endorsed the aid package. Newt Gingrich was passionately in favor of helping Russia, saying it was a “great defining moment” for American and we had to do the right thing. – Bill Clinton, 2004 (My Life, p. 506-507).

“Professor Gingrich hopefully will never be called upon to teach a course in the proper role of our federal government. His rare votes against bloated big government usually have been prompted by the partisan wrangling of the moment, not by any great respect for, or understanding of, the Constitution.” –James Toft of “Tax Reform Immediately” (TRIM)

  1. Based upon Gingrich's heinous actions here in NYS races + his inept handling of the Clinton impeachment actions, I would not vote, before ever considering supporting Gingrich!

    • I guess you are happy with the present leader ignoring the Constitution, rewarding campaign donors, approving the actions of the out of control WSO, while scoffing at the non-violent tea party. He has insulted Americans to other countries, bowed to our enemies, has non vetted radicals working for him, Twice he left any mention of God out, when reading from our Decoration of independence, and if that's not enough, he has bypassed Federal law to allow backdoor Amnesty, not only to illegals aliens crossing into America but to his illegal relatives, living in Mass, one of them on US taxpayer money. If this class warfare is what you want, by all means cast your vote for Obama. As for me, I will vote for .anyone who has the United States best interests at heart, and that is not Obama.

    • Well, that is how I feel about Romney. So to each his own.

    • grannylake says:

Wow That will just show everyone if you don't vote.

    • Actually Gingrich successfully handled the Clinton Impeachment. It was the Senate that failed to convict Clinton after Impeachment.

    • For his Fannie Mae lobbying efforts we learned about this week, I would equate Newton to Jack Abramoff , but having never served time in prison, and having never repented.

  2. Publius II says:

There are so many contradicting points in this article that it is ridiculous. For somone who has served as long as Newt, they are going to have negatives out there. It can not be denied, however, that he was the most successful Speaker in our life times, in terms of helping the country positively. Balancing the budget, getting rid of House committee seniority (many were of 25-30 years duration before Newt), mandated the creation of Thomas.gov (which requires Congress to publish everything it does everyday on the internet so that everyone citizen can see for themselves. Prior to that you had to know someone in Washington to find out anything, and much was done under the radar until then), and on and on.

    continued above.

    • I'm in agreement with you. I think we better be careful before we write Newt off. He has made some serious mistakes & he has admitted that. I'm not completely settled on him or any of the others just yet, but charges can be made rather frivously & dangerously. Look what they've already done to Herman Cain.

    • We are not going to find a perfect candidate. There is no such thing. There are so many things in this article that I know to be untrue or only half true that I doubt many others. Politicians have proved over and over that you can't trust what they SAY. The best way to judge is what they have DONE. If we had used that criteria on Barak Obama, he would not be president today. Newt presided over the House in a period that was one of the most productive for this country and I believe that he was the key to forcing Bill Clinton to change his ways and get things done that the Republicans had been trying to do for years to no avail (balanced budget and welfare reform for example. I am still amazed when I remember that those things were accomplished under the presidency of a democrat!! Bill Clinton, in his second term was one of the best Republican presidents in modern times (notwithstanding his personal conduct). I think Newt Gingrich is our best hope.

      • It was Clinton's Jewish campaign manager Dick Morris who read the tea leaves in the polls on the upcoming Republican Revolution, who was responsible for reshaping Clinton, so that Clinton would perch himself as the leader of the Revolution. The Judeo-liberal press helped shape this message and forgetting all about the Christian massacre at Waco, Christians re-elected Clinton along with the Republican Freshman Newt was a member of. When the new laws hit Clinton's desk, the judeo-liberal press was there for the Presidential signing ceremonies proclaiming victory for Clinton.

Newton got ran out of Congress on ethics violations and took up Jack Abramoff's corrupt trade – even worst – he lobbied with OUR OWN MONEY to lobby for more of our money. For his Fannie Mae lobbying efforts we learned about this week, Newt never served time in prison, and obviously has never repented.

    • maxinegridi says:

While there is no such thing as a perfect human being, there is in fact, one truly genuine conservative (i.e., Michele Bachmann … the most loyal, honest and best among them) … but people like Newt, Mitt, Huntsman or Paul, are just not one of them!

We do not have to 'settle' for a make-believe 'conservative' — whose 'conservatism' lasts only through the primaries!

It will not be worth the effort to come out to the polls to vote for a RINO! And so, if any of the RINOs in the running is forced upon us as a 'choice', then all I can say is: ‘thanks but no thanks’!

    • maxinegridi says:

Newt is a treacherous opportunist! His own wives (former and present) cannot trust him! So how can an entire nation of 'we the people'?

I do not see any reason to vote for another make-believe RINO establishment republican … like Newt Gingrich (or Mitt Romney, Huntsman or Paul).

I'm sorry … but for establishment RINO republicans to lecture us on the fact that 'at least they're not Obama' just won't do!

Either way, America is dying (rapidly under Obama) … and will continue to die (albeit a bit slower under an establishment RINO republican — pretending to be a conservative)!

    • One of the contradictions is "Newt serving his wife who was in the hospital w/divorce papers" That is a lie. His daughter has addressed that and she said nothing can be further from the truth.
      http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/correcting-the-r

IBesides I am more concerned about where Obama has taken this country, not about someones divorces. That isn't what caused the Highest Unemployment & High Forclosures. Anyone on the Republican panel would be 100 times better than Obama. At least they Love this great country!

    • I agree with you Publius. This article is a hack job…… granted Newt is not perfect, but there is no question for me that Newt will change the get things rolling in the right direction quickly.

  3. Alice Lillie says:

Gingrich? Conservative? Don't make me laugh. It hurts in my skinny pocketbook.

    Neither is gun-control, socialized-medicine Romney!

Ron paul is the only nominee I can support. If he is not nominated i will support the Libertarians, as no way can I vote the lesser of evils. After all, the lesser of evils is still evil!

    • All you need to know about Ron Paul is that he thinks is fine that Iran get a nuclear weapon. (in fact, thinks they shoud), the country that promises to "wipe isreal off the map".. If you think the mid-east is in turmoil now, wait and see what happens when Iran gets a nuclear weapon.

Ron Paul, like all Libertarians, is an idealist. Unfortunately, the actors in the real world take advantage of the unrealistic positions of idealists. It is a dangerous world out there right now, and we are in a sharp decline, thanks to Obama. We will not survive unless Obama is thrown out office (hopefully before the election) by electing Newt, the only candidate with enough vision and true government experience to correct all that has been done by Obama. No one else would even know where to start.

      • Agree 100%. I am joining Newt's campaign and for the first time in my life have contributed to someone's campaign. Ron Paul is also know as Porkus Paul because of all the Pork he receives. He has a childish view of the world. Besides, who would be dumb enough to name their son after such a mean Nazi like Ayn Rand, also an avowed atheist.

      • You did not support Ron Paul in 2008 is my guess. How do you like your REALISM ???

      • Nonsense. Paul said he doesn't want Iran to have a nuke, but they have motivation to want one since we have been bullying them since 1953 by first overthrowing their democratically elected president and installing the Shah of Iran, a brutal dictator. Even the CIA says this caused "blowback" by the taking of our hostages in the 80's. Paul says, our current foreign policy goes like this, either we bribe other countries with foreign aid or we bomb them. Besides, Paul's other point is, they aren't close to getting one and even if they did they would be no threat to the U.S. They can't even make enough gasoline for themselves, they have no delivery system, we have weapons systems that can knock down hundreds (if not thousands) of warheads simultaneously, so does Israel. Also, Israel has 300 nukes and can take care of them. Under our current foreign policy (advocated by Newt), we give twice as much to Israel's enemies than we do Israel (explain that!). Paul wants a STRONG DEFENSE of this nation, no nation building overseas and no bribes to foreign dictators. His foreign policy is the opposite of what you have described, as he would balance the budget and cut $1T in spending in the first year, as our military leaders have been saying for some time, "the greatest threat to our national security is our debt." Paul takes this seriously. His foreign policy is practical and realistic, and CONSTITUTIONAL to defend America.

      • "All you need to know about Ron Paul is that he thinks is fine that Iran get a nuclear weapon. (in fact, thinks they shoud), "

There are lies, damn lies and then there was that statement.

Ron Paul does not think it's fine for Iran to get a nuke and certainly does not think they should. He just doesn't think it would be the end of the world if they did and would refuse to unconstitutionally use executive power to go to war to stop them. If it was in our interest to go to war to stop them, he would approach Congress for a war declaration as required by the constitution.

      • Ahmedinajad did not threaten to wipe Israel off the map. That was/is a gross misinterpretation. Do your research and stopped being duped by the fear/warmongers ! I am so sick of the blind loyalty to the very ones you don't trust on anything else. Yet you believe every bit of their war propaganda.
The misquote was from 2005 and you are lead to believe it is repeated daily. The MISQUOTE is repeated daily bt the media and politicians to scare you in to voting for them so they will protect (control you and steal your money and your liberty) you. So much for the land of the free and the home of the brave. Boo!

    • grannylake says:

My vote is too important to me to waste it on a candidate that cannot win, just to prove a point. Do that and you lose.

  4. Continued from below:

He is not perfect, but he can return this country to stability quicker than anyone else, he knows how Washington works, has done much research with his own organizations to do things like cutting fraud in Medicare, etc. He will have us drilling for oil immediately, and if not too late, have the Canadian pipe line built as quickly as possible. He will balance the budget quicker than anyone else and shoot down any shinanigans by the House because he knows intimately how it works. And last, but not least, he will not take any guff off ot the Muslims, Chinese or Russians.

This article is nothing more than a hit piece on an imperfect man who will be the best President since Reagan.

    Publius II.

    • How do you know he is going to do ANYTHING.

Newton Gingrich gave us his Solumn word. He signed a Contract with America. He razzle-dazzled us with big debating words.

Then when he was made Speaker of the House, he broke his solumn oath. He broke his CONTRACT with AMERICA.

Obama is more honest about how he will destroy AMERICA.

    • No!I believe this article,as I have been watching Newt for a long time,as once I thought he would be a good candidate until I learned some of these things about him..He is an extention of Obama and all those doing the bidding for the "eletes" So far Ron Paul is the ONLY bet, or Bachman if she can come up in the polls

    • Publius ll, did you even READ this article?? That's a very long list of "imperfections". Newt Gingrich doesn't belong ANYWHERE on a conservative platform!! Why WOULD he have to "take any guff". he's already helped to send them BILLIONS of foreign aid…and more BILLIONS in bank bailouts!! THEY would LOVE to see him become President!! He's a RINO!! You need to quit listening to the Media and start doing your homework. We need to get behind someone who has common sense and doesn't change with the way the wind blows. Ron Paul is the only candidate that the Dems can't destroy with their smear tactics. He's the only one with 30 years of consistency. Actually…he's the ONLY choice that makes any sense! If we screw it up this time, you can kiss your sweet ass goodbye!! We will be living in a Socialist country…if we aren't already! WAKE UP!!!

    • No he won't "be the best President since Reagan." You're dreaming. Gingrich is very much a part of the inside the beltway old guard repube-ican establishment elites, i.e. a RINO through and through. His record as detailed herein is evidence enough of that. He supports big government all the way which comes through loud and clear in this recounting of his record. Balance the budget? Are you kidding, with other repube-ican elites like Boehner in the House? His only plus is his smooth articulate delivery spoken like an academic professorial type during debates which makes him a formidable debater. So what! I for one have had enough of slick tongued liars. But once again the sheeple are impressed with good image making for the TV and gravitate to that image like good little lemmings.

There is for sure one candidate who would make a great president and she's stuck in single digit polling numbers, Michele Bachmann, because the liberal elitists, RINOs, keep getting all the attention by the MSM even during the debates. Why, because they have a paranoid fear of a true conservative so they purposely keep the spotlight on the liberals, RINOs, after they deep sixed Cain, their other paranoid fear because he took away their precious race card. Unlike the chameleon,Gingrich, Bachmann's a solid Reagan conservative which is what the country desperately needs, not another mushy repube-ican. Romney and Gingrich are essentially indistinguishable. Perry is in over his head. Cain is done. And Ron Paul? OMG, that whack job is a dangerous isolationist who would precipitate WWIII by literally doing……NOTHING. He thinks the Iranians should be allowed to develop nukes and Israel, our faithful ally in the M.E., should be left to defend themselves against nuclear attack. Can you spell Armageddon? Never mind, I just did.

    • Newt Gingrich is ONLY devoted to Newt Gingrich. He cannot be trusted in any way to represent conservative values and principles – he has none – only what is political expedient for him.

We have an arrogant, narcissitic Presdient in the White House right now – we certainly do not need another one. Mitt ORmney is a decent, moral and experienced candidate who knows how to turn around our failing economy and he can be trusted not to further erode the goodness of America with repeated morla failings. Do you realize that if Gingrich is President, he will be the first to have multiple wives on whom he committed adultery and the FIrst Lady will be the First Homewrecker? Quite an historical achievement fo rthe history professor – would.t you say. Gingrich conservative? not a chance

    • Nurse Trixie says:

Thats right…be a good little media consumer…..it is the Muslims, Chinese and or Russians who are our enemies. Please….think! Think about it. Who is really our enemy? Who is really the terrorists? Turn your TV off and learn the truth about the world you live in!

  5. Dennis Krug says:

There's only one person I think would make a very good President and she's Michele Bauchmann and she doesn't have the money to compete. I used to like Newt until I saw what kind of a hidden "Leftist" he really is. I don't know how the 2012 election will turn out but ANYTHING has to be better than OBAMA !

  6. TruthMatters says:

It's about time someone came forward to make this point. Been saying this for quite some time, to relatively deaf ears.

    Smart? Yes. Conservative? NO!

  7. Triumphkid says:

In 1995 a journalist friend sat next to Newt while flying from Atlanta to Wash. D.C.via Charlotte, N.C.. He discussed his concerns with the NWO agenda to Newt at length during the flight and was finally admonished by Newt matter-of-factly that…"It's coming, there is nothing you or anyone else can do about it, so get used to it".

I saw a slide presentation recently by Clive Hamilton on geo-engineering ethics recently that quoted Newt as saying that it was a cost effective solution to global warming and therefore must be utilized, i.e., “Geoengineering holds forth the promise of addressing global warming concerns for just a few billion dollars a year.” Newt Gingrich

Also, didn't Newt loved the Tofflers work to the point that he handed out free copies of thier book to all members of Congress. Rather than promote the internationalist banking agenda lines his pockets with money and which circumvents the seperation of powers, why does he not create a more decentralized system..the answer is obvious. All his supposedly brilliant ideas are not his own, instead they're a Club of Rome, etc. agenda that he's been peddling for decades for power and money.

  8. Robert Wilson says:

Is Newt Gingrich a moderate Democrat or a RINO Republican??

  9. eveyone needs to read this about Newt: http://www.vaticanassassins.org/2011/03/newt-ging
Here is the Newt you don't know:
    Newt Wants to extend the use of illegal Executive orders;
    Newt is Pro-U.N.;
    Newt likes the Fed; Net is in favor of NAFTA;
Newt Still supports the Global Warming myth.

    • Newt does not still support Global Warming Myth. He say it hasn't been proven. You Ron Paul nuts are going to get the Kenyan back in office.

      • OK, Newton is taking a politician's "on the fence" stance about Global Warming. Proof positve for Ron Paul nuts to you.

And you are OK with Newton being pro-UN? Pro-NAFTA? Breaker of the CONTRACT with America?

The way I see it, you Elect an Obama to keep out an Obama types are the most unpatriotic Americans in the Republican Party.

    • Freemason people pretend to be Catholic but are not. Newt is scary. Bad for our already sinking country.

  10. Keith Allison says:

I have never believed Newt was anyone to be trusted, and he's too friendly with the current idiot in the Whitehouse.

  11. HEY, AT LEAST YOU CAN FIND A RECORD FOR GINGRICH, YA PULL UP NOBUMMER AND YOU FIND NADA, ZIP,ZELCH!!!! LMAO, THIS THING WE HAVE NO ACCORDING TO RECORDS THE SOB WAS HATCHED!!

    • This is a teachable moment if ever there was one.

A BAD Record is better than NO Record?

Ron Paul has been around longer than Gingrich and he has a long, long record. Have your researchers list Ron Paul's record.

I say that a GOOD record is better than both a Bad one and a missing one.

  12. As American patriots, we must all keep our eye on the ball … defeating Barack Obama. We need to unite behind a VIABLE candidate. As of right now, it appears we have two choices, Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney. Neither man will be 100% acceptable to rightwing conservative and libertarians. HOWEVER, either man beats hell out of another 4 years of marxist corruption !! I personally prefer Newt, because I think he can decimate Obama in a debate, and Mitt will have trouble debating Obamacare. As far as Newt's past record … times change, issues change, problems change … so it makes sense for a candidate to change with the times. I think Gingrich is much more conservative now than in the past.

    • WHAT!!! This is a rap sheet that would make Charlie Manson blush!!!!

What is VIABLE about this record ? You will take Gingrich OR Romney, but your real motive is to a vote against Obama. You are not even a die-hard believer.

Ron Paul has been conservative his entire life. Why not give him a little love? Ron Paul doesn't even have a rap sheet of anything that is against the best interests of this country, other than a few twisted pooh-hahs of misunderstanding.

    • Newt pretends to be conservative to buy our votes.

    • Why two…? how can people with one year or over in front of them to make such decision already give up and compromise with the less of two evils? do anyone has forgotten how to do home work and the fact that WE THE PEOPLE have the power to change things with faith and dedication, unity and strength to know that they do the right thing… anyone has check on John Albert Dummett Jr. I recommend you all to check on him, it's worth, the only one true patriot who has one interest in heart. This Republic, who has suit the DNC to stop Obama in the 2012 ballot… what is wrong with people today? You know that the Country is about to receive the last blow and you compromise? are you ok? we must find together THE BEST CONSERVATIVE, not the less evil… our lives depend on that, and more our children and grand children, our responsibility is huge but together we can make the people's choice not the media or the GOP.
God bless and ask for wisdom, in this days we do need that allot.

    • Any conservative evangelicl christian who supports Newt Gingrich will be demostrating hypocrisy at the highest level. He does not deserve to be the nominee and Romney will have no problem debating ORmneycare because it is not anything like Obamacare IF you research its creation and have th eability to understand its implrementation and goolas for an individual state – not a nation. Netw Gingrich is arrogant and narcissistic – just like Obama. He has no principles – except to further his ego. Mitt Romney is our best hope for turing aorund our failing economy and returning dignty and respect to the offie of the President at home and around the world. The perosnal transgressions of Newt and Colista as President and First Lady could not possibly set a worse moral example for our youth as well as our married couples. Shame on anyone who supports him. No compassion for a moral man like Mitt but endless compassion for a Washington Insider worm like Newt. Pitiful indeed

  13. Maria Lima says:

This article is clearly, CLEARLY, put together by someone with a VERY SPECIFIC agenda..ahhemm*clears throat.. Paul supporters? As a previous comment stated, for someone who has been in public office for as long as Newt has..and as successfully as he has..there would have to be times in which he has bent a little to 'reach across the aisle' as theysay..in order to get things done. That, to me, and to MANY OTHER AMERICANS fed up with the system..is a huge asset! It in NO WAY negates him as a Conservative! As for working to abolish the Constitution..PLEASE! Don't insult my intelligence. Are you at all familiar with the man's body of work in literature?? SHAME ON YOU for this nonsense! Keep it up, and I will want NOTHING to do with a publication capable of garbage journalism.

  14. Hmmmmm,,,Do I smell a rat ? Is Gingrich really guilty on every count, or is this all the garbage that the democratic party could scrape up,,,,,NOW that he looks like he is gaining momentum, and is ahead in several polls ??? Could be that he's guilty on all counts as charged, but his record as speaker was pretty impressive under a democratic President. Smart ? He makes all,,,,I mean all, including Romney, look like first graders against he, a "giant" of information on foreign policy, and American History. Yep, he's made his share of mistakes, but I'm not sure all of this article is 100% credible. But if he "IS" a wolf in sheeps clothing, then throw him out. We need a real conservative who will scale down gavernment, get rid of the debt, and get back to the letter of the law, and get rid of the PC idiots !

    • You act as if you don't believe even a single one. Name just one that this article was wrong on instead of saying you don't want to believe it.

I don't know about all these these, there are so many corruptions, but even if a tenth of them are right, is this a man you want to lead you?

Please check out Ron Paul's record. No rats, no garbage, no wolf in sheep's clothing. Nothing but the real American deal. No dual allegience on country or religion.

    • So Jim…sounds like you're talking about Ron Paul!! "We need a real conservative who will scale down government, get rid of the debt, and get back to the letter of the law, and get rid of the PC idiots!"

  15. If Newt really did all those horrible things, it's just because the media made him do it. :-)

  16. Newt is a wild card who is just another Washington politician who has been feeding in/around the trough for to long. My vote at this time is for Herman Cane. He looks like the best puppet to be president. Kicking-out half or more of congress, especially the Dem's and RINO Republicans would go a long way toward changing the usual status-quo that has been incrementally bringing America to it's knees over the last 50-75 years. We must be a really screwed-up country, even Rome lasted a lot longer before it fell.

    • Newt is a globalist, new world order guy. He is for Amesty for the illegals, so us tax payers can continue to pay for all their bills as well as our own. I do not trust him. Paul is a true conservative although I do not like all that he speaks. Bachman is also a conservative and stands on the constitution and she is against all the illegals.. Herman Cain is also against the illegals but he doesn't believe in auditing the Fed for some strange reason.
I will keep my eyes on Bachman, Paul and Cain, The first two have been unwaivering in thier ideas. Romney will take away our gun rights and keep Obamacare. Perry is a Rothschild, Bilderberg pick and anyone they endorse -stay away from

  17. You know what? I don't even care. He is no different in those arenas than any other politician, but he is extremely smart and is our ONLY hope to fix this country. Those of you that claim to want someone other than Obama, need to stop putting out talking points like this for our opposition. Do you not have a brain?

    • Okay…..all of you who want to entertain the idea of voting for Gingrich just because he's 'better' than Obama. Well you're dead wrong……he is every bit as dangerous as Obama!!!! Do your homework and see for yourself what kind of man he is. We'd be far better off with ANY of the other candidates than Gingrich and some of those are not what I'd call up to snuff.
We can't keep voting in the same kind of people because we'll get exactly the same results. Are we gluttons for punishment or what? Listen people……check on the facts and think of someone who would turn things around…..not someone who would continue to destroy this country with the same agenda that the Collectivists have been working on for decades. Unless we really wake up to the facts and stop playing Russian roulette with our choice of presidents, our lives will not be worth living. Well…..it might be for those who like the Chinese form of government or even the Russian.

    • That's just it……GINGRICH WOULDN'T FIX THIS COUNTRY! Hello!!!

    • Ron Paul is the only hope.

If you want to know how Newton will be, return to the top of this article and start over.

  18. This seems to be a typical "cut and paste" hack job, up to the standards of "MoveOn.com", CNN, and the Huffington Post.

  19. I didn't have to read it all to know that Newt Gingrich is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could fling him!
Anyone listening to Rush today could hear that Gingrich would NOT be good for this country as president. He actually endorsed Obamacare back last May and as the article states, he is a chameleon and it scares me to death thinking of him winning. I think he'd be every bit as bad as Obama if he won.

  20. Newt is still the best man for the job.
    All others lack his intelligence.

    Charles H. bertram

    • Let us focus on the "Big Picture" folks. Conservative purists would love a "trrue Conservative" that likely cannot convince any Democrats or Independents to vote for him or her, and will (as in the past) go to their corner pouting and stay home instead of voting for ANY7BODY but Obama! That is how Gerry Brown got elected Governor of CA — because Meg Whitman wasn't "Conservative Enough" and the A-holes would rather put up with 4 years of Brown than (heaven forbid) vote for a RINO! WTF I will vote for Bill Clinton if he becomes the GOP Candidate. Remember the Big Picture — ANYBODY but Obama. Give me a RINO with a Rebublican Senate and House and then we will have Obamacare repeal (just forstarters). Mare, you've got your heade "wedged" if you think Newt or anyone else would be "every bit as bad as Obama." There is no such thing!

      • Big picture — Obama is more honest about how he will screw this country than Newton Gingrich is.

I would rather exercise my Second Amendment right against Dictator Obama than to look my kids in the eyes and tell my children that I was the guy who voted for this sleaze bag.

I would suggest you go back an re-read this article.

    • He is smart, but not intelligent.

      • You're right. People like him are shrewd and have a good memory (to remember their lies) and a quick wit to say opposite things in the same sentence. They often do not give a straight answer to a question but turn the question back into another question. All tactics.

      • He's intelligent, but not smart. A good liar should be smart enough to remember all his lies.
He gets caught in his lies.

    • Charles, Ron Paul leaves Newt in the dust as far as intelligence goes.

  21. Some of Newt's positions are readily explicable. Others not so. While I am supportive of the Newt campaign, I am reserving final judgement until he is provided an opportunity to fully and honestly explain his record–the good, the bad, the ugly and the, frankly, confusing and seemingly contradictory. At this moment, my sense is that he is more conservative than Romney, less than Paul and more brilliant and adroit than either. In any case, I want a full vetting of his record and his philosophical positions before I vote for him.

    • Who are you going to get to explain Newton's positions?

His campaign staff that quit enmass on him? His former wives? The Congress where he was censored for ethics AFTER they liked him enough to elect him Speaker?

Or you just going to wait to listen to his cool debate skills?

Ron Paul has had one wife, still does. He has never been censored by Congress even after opposing them on almost everything they vote on. His followers are rock solid supporters.

And no DOCTOR Ron Paul can run circles around HISTORY teacher Newton in intelligence. I do believe Ron Paul even knows history better than Newton — if interpretation of history is the measure of intelligence.

      • I admire Paul's economic conservatism, but his 17th century foreign policy is not only embarassing, it's an election loser. I would like to see Ron Paul the Sec. of Treasury in the next administration. NOT president. As for Newt, he'd have been an idiot or a candidate for canonization had he not applied his government experience to developing a lucrative living. But, so far, I am unconvinced he was your run of the mill lobbyist. He's smarter than that. He knew he was running for president. He has skills and acumen and people paid him for that expertise. At this juncture, I don't see anything more than that. As for his wives, I have not one friend who isn't divorced. And some had sordid affairs to boot in their earlier years. They've evolved, as has Newt. So, let's not belabor Newt's peccadillos. Most of us are guilty of same, but it doesn't render us any less human and decent. And I also belive Newt has been appropriately apologetic about his personal life. More than I can say for a lot of folks I know.

        • I suppose you can be proud of having friends with broken marriages, but we should be looking for someone better than we are. But nevertheless, I am not belaboring his personal life, I am belaboring his recent confession, and lying about it at that, of being a Fannie Mae lobbist to get more taxpayer money for Fannie Mae while overlooking the pampant corruption of this government agency. This is not a man to reduce government. This is not 30-year "history" this history professor is being accused of — this happened last week.

Ron Paul's foreign policy is just as sound as his economic policy was when everyone was saying he was wacko about economics. You are only saying he is right about economics now because there is no longer any chance to deny he was wrong.

But you are right about one thing — political pedophile Newton would be canonized by the Judeo-mass-media if only he was smart enough to figure out how to stop being caught with his hands down little boys pants. (Yeh, way overboard)

  22. Bob Wuench says:

I believe, for the purpose of this campaign, Mr. Gingrich really does see himself as a conservative. Certainly he is no liberal. However, if anything about his positions could be considered conservative, it is only today's positions and has nothing to do with his past activities. Frankly, I see him as a BIG GOVERNMENT conservative at best. I don't doubt that most of the time he is the smartest guy in the room, but based on my view of him I'm not altogether comfortable with the combination of "smartest" and "big government." I believe I'll stick with Ron Paul. I really like our Constitution, but even more, I like the thought of a candidate that doesn't need a walk in closet to hold all his skeletons.

    • Bob, people like you frighten me … because you would vote for Ron Paul, which would split the conservative vote and let Barack Obama win. All of us who love this country need to unite behind a candidate who can beat Obama. if we face another 4 years of marxism we may lose this country forever.
Ron Paul is a good, principled man, and he will continue to influence the future of this nation outside of
      the White House.

    • You're right, Gingrich makes himself pass as a Conservative. He is nothing but an illusion, just the way Obama gave the impression of being an exceptional orator and brilliant statesman in 2008. We all know how tarnished that image is now. Newt is pro NWO and UN and that in itself is a frightening promise that he is going to bring the fundamental change that the US does not want.

  23. AmericansRon2U says:

For all of the 'unbelievers' here who think that this article is a fabrication by the lefties, it is obvious that YOU have not done your own research on Newt. The John Birch Society is an ULTRA CONSERVATIVE organization that has reported Newt's track record…NOT the Huffpo or MoveOn crowd. In fact, the Lefties would LOVE to have Newt or Romney as the nominee…just like they LOVED shoving McCain down our throats in 2008. That's because they know who the RINOS are…unlike some of the folks commenting here.
Don't be fooled by a candidate's 'brilliance'…Hitler was a brilliant speaker, Ted Bundy was a brilliant law student, Michael Jackson was a 'brilliant' music artist….THAT DOESN"T MEAN they're GOOD people! It just means that they're 'brilliant' enough to fool people like Obama did in 2008. Food for thought, my friends.

    • Anyone who thinks the John Birch Nazi Society is Conservative is off the wall. You RP supporters keep it up and you will get Obummer again. There will be no more elections after 2012 if you help him steal the WH again. Grow up and get a brain. Newt Gingrich is the best one to beat the Kenyan. He made Clinton look good. He balanced the budget, cut welfare and myriad other things.

      • Are you saying that I want to vote for a guy who made Clinton look good? No Thanks!

        • Um, the liberal media is who made Clinton look good.

          • You make a good observation. The judeo-liberal media were complicit in insuring that any good the Republican Congress accomplished became a Clinton accomplishment the moment he signed his name on the finished law as President.

We can also thank Jewish Dick Morris for helping Clinton prepare to jump out in front of the coming Republican revolution to claim it for himself and hence win re-election. What a great pollster!

The point of all this is that Newton was complicit in helping the Judeo-liberals pretend to be the actual conservative leaders. He was not smart enough to claim victory for the Republicans, And he let himself be bought off in the end as well, getting himself repremanded for ethics violations.

Just this week, he lied about being a "historian" for Freddie Mac. In fact, he was a corrupt lobbyist for a corrupt government entity lobbying my congressman for my taxdollars to pour more money down that rat hole.

For God's sake, he was worst than Jack Abramoff.

    • Give me a break. NO true Conservative would listen to the crap from The John Birch Society. It was shunned by William F. Buckley for what it is … a conspiracy theory nutjob org. And to equate Newt to Hitler, Ted Bundy, and Jackson is ridiculous!

  24. Martin Jones says:

The article is posted in such a small, very light blue typeface that it is almost i8mpossible to understand. I totally lose my concentration on the meaning of the article because it takes all my concentration to make out the words.

    • Don't worry about it Martin. It dont mean nuthin;o)

    • Do you expect to vote in the most important election this country has ever known? If you do, then you need to stop your whining and actually VET EVERY CANDIDATE! If you are just going to vote for who the MSM tells you to vote for, you might as well just vote for Obama, because if you vote for Newt or Romney, you will, in effect, just be for voting for the same thing.

    • Handyman Herb says:

Cain /West 2012, time for a real change or you can keep voting for the same old people and get the same old stuff you always got

    • Does Newt, the celebrated historian have you forgotten that since 50 years ago, America socialization mechanism, education, media, even houses of worship promote the salad model , multiculturalism not assimilation and melting pot?
Does Newt is self denial that Multiculturalism is killing Western Civilization in Europe and turning Europe into Euroarabia ? , immigrants families and their descendants European born Muslim , and American born children of immigrants, learned at home, at school, in the media and in houses o f worship that they are not Europeans or American but they are for example, Muslim or Mexicans?
Does Newt ignores that many immigrants families and their American born descendant living more than 35 and 40 years in America, never had assimilated ? Such families taught their American borned children , you are not American , your country, your culture , your loyalty is for example to Mexico, or China etc. Does Newt ignores about the Aztlan movement, who openly advocate for the destruction of our American Republic, for the secession our South West ? Does Newt ignores that millions of young American born of Latin American descend are chapter members of such movement which is spreading like wildfire across school campus ? Does Newt ignore that many in migrants and their American born children join our military not out love for America but for economic reasons and a pathway to political legalization and power to promote what they consider , their nation interest for example, Mexico, not America interest?
Does Newt ignores the lesson from history? In 476,A.D. The Christian Western Roman Empire fell
Three of the major reasons were
Fall in fertility rates among Romans
High fertility rate among the Non Assimilated immigrants , made them more numerous and took control over the Roman population.
Most of the Christian Western Roman armies soldiers, were Non Assimilated immigrants, who joined the armies for economic reasons and a pathway to political benefits in Christian Western Roman Empire. The outcome, the undoing of that great civilization?
Does Newt or Perry ignores? incidents such like in Texas schools, American kids wearing American colors, created a strong feeling of anger from their classmates, the majority of them, because the majority of their classmates consider themselves Latino or Mexican spite of many be born in America and consider an affront that American colors be in 'their schools"? The school principal tried to convince the American kids , that for the good of peace and harmony in the school system , No wear American colors because create 'problems for the rest of the students.
The majority of the students in many states are kids whom spite of being born in America , they not consider themselves American and their goal is to promote their nations, Latin Americans for example?
Newt, Why American taxpayer is going to provide job opportunities, education, health care to millions of un assimilated immigrants and their descendants who even support the dismember of our American Republic? We need families who go to church, who teach their kids and grandchildren to be Americans and love our nation but How can you convince anyone that our National security and territorial integrity is not in danger supporting the families who are not Pro American and their Non Assimilated descendants?
Michelle Bachman, is the only candidate with a track record of being consistent, about the bail out, about the economy, Global Warming, immigration, national defense, trade , China, the debt, Fannie, Obama Care . Her behavior shows principles, character, someone , loyal Americans can trust to not try to fool us , changing her positions according to the audience and the timeline. She lack the baggage t hat nt.
Practically , all rest, including Newt, Mitt, Perry lack the regarding all the issues mentioned above
As a Nationalistic Patriotic American we can not make the mistake to vote for a candidate just because he is not Obama, Our country face great crisis , we need someone with a track record whom we can trust, whom we know means what in this case, she said

      • phoenixx101 says:

    http://vinceiori.com/WordPress/tag/the-phony-righ

Here is information on Gingrich and other "conservative" candidates. We must vet them all very thoroughly, so as not to be made fools of again.

  26. Newt Gingrich is actually a Big Government, New World order proponet and does not deserve the vote of the American people. He would prefer just like FDR Carter, Clinton, and Obama, that our Constitution did not exist because it stands in the way if his dictatorship. No Newt Gingrich, No Obama, No Mit Romney, No John Huntsman, No Michelle Bachmann, No Rick Santorum, No Rick Perry, No Herman Cain, Only Ron Paul can restore America's greatness.

  27. This article is slanted and if you listen closely it is basically foggy in truthfulness… picking a small portion from one of Newt's speeches, not stating the entire sentence. Be careful of what is put out there. In the beginning, I was interested in what was being said… the further into the video/speech I began feeling it was nothing but propaganda. It became obvious to me as I listened, that this is nothing but an attempt on Ron Paul's group to slander Newt as Newt is fast becoming the front runner in the bid to become the Republican Party's candidate to oppose Obama in 2012. Paul's camp at this time sees Newt as their biggest threat. The Obama camp also feels that Newt is the biggest threat to Obama due to his vast knowledge, quick thinking and factual based responses. We, as voters must put the conservative candidate that is most knowledgeable, intelligent, experienced and is a quick thinking debater up against Obama in 2012 in order to defeat Obama and take back the U.S. of America.

    • Yeh, Ron Paul is E-V-I-L

Those E-V-I-L Ron Paul bots are the reason every flavor of the week gets blown out of the water.

    • THAT being said, Ron Paul is the one winning, or so close to winning that we can hardly tell the difference, in all the straw polls!! Why do you think that the Media doesn't give him equal air time, or even acknowledge his "wins"?? If they treated him like the true candidate that he is, no one else would stand a chance!! THEY are AFRAID of the "change" that Ron Paul would bring as President of the United States!!! It wouldn't be business as usual with no differentiation between Democrat or Republican in the White House!!

    • Why would you think it is Ron Pauls group? Is that who YOU fear. Why wouldn't it be Romney or Cains group? Remember "Paul can't win" LOL Glad to see you are worried though :)

  28. This article is ridiculous, I really hope conservatives are smart enough to realize this mostly opinion-based and just plain inaccurate. Really? Digging back to bad decisions made 32 years ago? I really hope the moron who authored this really is as perfect as they think everyone else should be.

    • I have read through many comments and not a single one had identified a mistake yet. There are so many, I am not going to vouch for all of them, but before you denounce the author, I would like to see at least a little bit of reasoning behind your beliefs that these are opinions and not facts.

    • No one has to go back 32-years to see political pedoplilia. Newton lied just this week.

We learned this week that Newton had joined Jewish Jack Abramoff's corrupt lobby racket after he left Congress – even worst – he lobbied with OUR OWN MONEY to lobby for more of our money. For his Fannie Mae lobbying effort, Newt never served time in prison, and obviously has never repented.

Making Jack Abramoff cleaner than Newton.

We already pay our Congressmen. Why is it not against the law for lobbyists to pay them. Citizen donations to campaigns yes, special interest donations – NO!!!!!

Newton is smart enough to know good from evil. He is as dirty as they get.

    • Go back as far as you want in Ron Paul's voting history. It will be hard to find one that would be inconsistent with the same message he spreads today.

  29. For those who won't vote for this or that Republican candidate wake up,this current field is better than the person who inhabits the White House presently. To not vote is irrational, we must look beyond our own personal desires in order to get rid of this administration. Four years hence is another election, and we have a great group of up and coming young Republicans who are making their names with conservative positions. The first step is to elect a Republican President. This will not be an easy election, so for anyone to just sit out, I say that person deserves what he or she might end up. We have held Congresses' feet to the fire during several important voting issues recently, to good end, and the 2010 election was a tidalwave of new conservative congressional seats. We can put the same pressure towards a Republican President if he begins to straying away from the conservative positions he professed during his campaign. The bottom line is, we must change this administration before our beloved country is beyond help.

    • I agree with this. Priority #1: Get a Republican in the White House. Priority #2: Hold his feet to the fire!
We conservative Americans have proved in the last few years that, thanks to the internet, we can
organize and voice our opinions. We have put pressure on Congress and they have heard us. This will not stop after the 2012 election. We can continue to send "principled" fresh faces to the House and Senate and return to a nation governed by the Constitution.

  30. Rose Heger says:

No matter what you are saying about Newt, he is the man who can beat Obama, both in intelligence, and debates. Who cares about the past, he is proving he is the best one for the nomination!!!!

    • Who cares about the past? Only the guy who can lie the best today gets your vote I see.

Rose it's about much more than just beating Obama. I am an ultra conservative and love America very much, but I could not support Newt Gingrich. He's a member of the Council on Foreign Relations which is a globalist think tank. Also he's a member of Bohemian Grove. This group from what I can gather is into some sort of Satan worship, and has many world leaders in its membership like Tony Blair. Go to the World Net Daily website bookstore and look up the book titles "Brotherhood of Darkness" and "Hope of the Wicked". These are just two books they offer on the subject. Newt may talk like a conservative, but he is not when you look at his record. You can't get much more conservative than Floyd Brown.

  31. L.K. Brown says:

I found at least 5 statements that were blatantly false in this list, making me suspect many of the others. He's definitely not the ideal candidate, but we have no one who is. I want the most conservative person who will beat Obama. (The 1st false one I noticed was that he had divorce papers delivered to his hospital-ridden wife. Their daughter wrote an article recently that said this long-told myth was untrue.)

    • The 1st false one I noticed was that he had divorce papers delivered to his hospital-ridden wife. Their daughter wrote an article recently that said this long-told myth was untrue.
      ————————————-
Are you saying that he did not divorce his wife? The method of how he divorced her may be hyped, but are you disputing the underlying fact of the divorce?

With blatantly false statements like this you present, please bring on the next 4 worst statements !

  32. Every person has a record. It would be interesting to develop a similar Libertarian-based list of "negatives" written about Reagan if he were running today. Lists such as this make me cringe and fear for my country yet I'm sure it makes the Socialists giddy. Instead of the guy with the record listed above you will get four more years of Obama if we all sit on our vote or waste our vote on a non-candidate. We might as well vote for Mickey Mouse if we are not going to be in the real game and vote for a real candidate. We will never have the perfect candidate. But the tendency of we on the Right to jump ship at the very whiff of anything but pure Conservative credentials in our ranks is one major reason we had the curse of Clinton and now Obama. As the old saying goes, I'd like to vote for the perfect candidate but he is never in the race. It is interesting how people think on this issue. I certainly understand the need for candidates to have a core set of Conservative patriotic principles. But we never ever have the perfect candidate. If Ron Paul were the perfect candidate then why can't he seem to garner more than 10% of the vote? For that matter why can't any Libertarian ever get beyond that measly percent? My Libertarian friends need to do a better job of selling their viewpoints it would seem. You can be right and still be always in the minority. In the mean time you waste your vote while the Left dances on our nation's grave. Do you think when the Left is completely in charge that they will have any qualms about squelching your Libertarian ideas? For the sake of the survival of liberty and the American way, we must ban behind the best candidate to defeat the Socialists enemies of liberty. On a scale of zero to 100, Gingrich may be a 65. You could rank him anywhere you like but compared to the ZERO we have in office now he would seem like an ultra-Right-winger to me.

  33. Nomoremedianominees! says:

Baldwin is a former Libritarian candidate who had no following. The accurate portions of his rant simply say that Gingrich is not a Liberitarian (what elseis new). Most of the remaining comments are a twisted version of what Gingrich has written or said, but omit the clifying context. Others, such as memberships in various world or regional organizations may be true, but don't necessarily indicate his support. Perhaps he wishes to supply a dissenting voice or even just to keep track of their foolish positions. I believe the Dems fear a Gingrich nomination more than any other. He certainly is the most capable of (and likely to) upset the phony backscratching turkeys that currently comprise Congress.

    • Steve Baldwin says:

Hey this is Steve Baldwin. I'm a register Republican, not a libertarian. I was a member of the California legislature for many years and had a large following. I was the Minority Whip. I won all my re-elections by landslides. I know Newt personally and he has indeed supported all the policies I list. I worked for him at one time. If you don't know what you're talking about, don't post. Your user name is "nomoremedianominees" but the Gingrich myth is a total media creation. He was never considered all that conservative even when he served in the house. He may be the smartest candidate out there but a person's worldview is far more important. Hitler was smart as well. Newt's worldview has been all over the map on many issues — similar to Romney — and there's no guarantee what his policies will be if elected to the White House.

  34. Gray2Hairs says:

Newt is a career politician. He will say or do anything. How do you trust that?

  35. grannylake says:

Newt has been in government for many years. I would be suspect of someone who didn't change their postion on some issues over the years as the wants and will of the people change.

    • change their postion on some issues over the years as the wants and will of the people change.
      ————————————-
You want someone with no moral compass of their own. Abortion is legal, so keep it legal, is your politics. Slavery was legal so a politician who was pro-slavery would be OK with you?

I want a man who is man enough to know right from wrong without having to take a poll. That man would be Ron Paul.

  36. Although Newt has done some good things for our Country in the past, I cannot support anyone who gives amnesty to 20 million plus illegals. He doesn't come right out and say it but the way he beats around the bush he might as well be John McCain,Lindsey Grahamn,or any of the spineless politicians who want to turn us into a Third World Country. It doesn't bother them, they've made their millions and their families don't have to put up with the scum crawling across our Border.

  37. grannylake says:

Newt has been in government for many years. I would be suspect of someone who didn't change their postion on some issues over the years as the wants and will of the people change.

  38. Sad state of affairs when a source that claims to be a true "conservative, trustworthy source" does such a pathetic hatchet job. Floyd, you are an inept writer, as you are most definitely not a journalist. The 2012 election is the most important election in this country's history and yet, here you are sitting in your "journalist" chair attempting to destroy one of the GOP candidates. Is it now Newt's time to be vilified, as it was Perry's, Bachmann, Paul, Cain, and on and on. Look at the dates of most of the " evidence" you presented, most are in the long gone past. I, personally, have changed some of my ideas over a thirty year period of time. I would hope most people would as well, because it you do not re-evaluate your positions in life about lots of things, you become stagnant, and incapable of intelligent thought. That is called intellectual "growth". Floyd, maybe you need to sit down and have a good talk with YOURSELF.

    • Patriot Diva says:

Sorry Dario, but I believe Floyd is telling the truth. I have read many things about Newt that's really disturbing. Anyone who is a member of Council on Foreign Relations, Bohemian Grove, Free Masons, Illuminati, or attended Bilderberg meetings, are all part of the New World Order proponents. If you are not familiiar with these groups, please do a little research and it will open your eyes to the challenges we face. And I can assure you, Obama is not our only challenge! He's just a puppet of George Soros who is also a member of several of these groups. Also World Net Daily has books about these groups in their bookstore. Two titles that I know are "Hope of the Wicked" and "Brotherhood of Darkness". They are about how many of the world's rich and powerfull are working together to form the "New World Order". Also Agenda 21, and "Sustainablility" are all part of this.

  39. POST all the backup proof . Next to each claim of deciet. Each smoking gun. Politicians are corrupt, no doubt…but we thinking folks, need proof, otherwise most of us go with the nonthinking flow…the proof of these statements are this administration, this congress and the shape America is in!! Enough said.

  40. I would say ask the man yourself before assuming all of the sources–many of which are left leaning reports–are accurate at face value. I'm not saying he hasn't changed over the past 20 years. Who among us has not? But if you go to Newt.org and participate in his interactive question and answer a lot of the most serious concerns will give you at least his side of the story. After that, make your own judgement. In any case, he is more desirable than Romney and 200% better than Obama.

  41. As the larva stage of his name suggest, a newt does become a salamander. A slimy amphibian that lives in slow streams mostly under rocks. The very list of his memberships covey his RHINO status without doubt.

Vote NO on Newt boy. Only one true conservative is running as an Indy Dr. Laurie Roth of CALIFORNIA. She has the right policy but not the big bucks.

  42. AS I read all the comments I noticed that every one that agreed with the post, that Newt is a snake, was given a thumbs down. People complain about 'Paulbots', but what of the Newtbots? On every forum where thumbs up/thumbs down is an option, those patriots calling out the golalist Newt, were given thumbs down. Just by this we can see how well Newtbots do not want the truth told.
From the moment Newt said he would run, I was saying Newt is the 'chosen one'. Not only does the CFR own the media, but all the high positions in our government. Eisenhower, JFK, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II is Skulls and Bone, And we all know what Obamao is.
To whoever is putting thumbs down on those patriots speaking the truth, shame on you for wanting to totally destroy America. You won't win.

  43. I dispise Newt and his bull shit liberal politics. He is a liar and doesn't anyone remember the lies and crap he talked and wrote back in the 90-92 phase? Oh, yeah…..when it came time to actually walk the walk, Newt bailed and went liberal. If Newt runs, say HELLO to BO for four more.

  44. Alice Woolard says:

no newt is not our man,INSIDER TRADING FOR ONE THING AND A DIE HARD POLICIATION<WE THE PEOPLE WOULD RATHER HAVE HERMAN CAIN!!!!! The charges against him were to ruin his campain ,but he hasn' lost much support, just been tryed and hung by the MEDIA

  45. Looks like a wolf in sheep clothing, A buddy of Nancy Polosi, Too much Big Gov. policies that he has supported. Got a lot of undesirable baggage to suite me. NO THANKS. We need smaller gov. ran by the people, not lefty's

  46. As I read these comments, it is with a heavy heart that I am kissing the U.S.A. goodbye. It seems very few people are aware that the Dems and Pubs are on the same team, and it is clear that they are not on our side. They have all been bought and paid for. Our Constitution and our Bill of Rights are being shredded as we speak. Why doesn't Congress impeach the usurper, Obama? Because they are on his side. He is moving things right along, as planned, into the hands of their beloved, globalist elites. They have stolen our money, our investments, and our emotional and physical security. They plan to destroy our currency and steal our homes. They laugh at us as we argue about which evil individual we will choose to usher in the New World Order and finish us off.

  47. Harold Gross says:

He is a progressive with the same flavor we already have. I don't want the same flavor. This got us into this mess. I want new blood.

  48. Ridge runner says:

Ron paul if we can get him on the polls. If we can't i will write in my dog.

  49. Neoconservatives aren't Conservatives! They are neo-trotskysts.
Conservatives stick with the constitution, peace and non-interventionism.

I'm a Conservative and I'm sticking with Ron Paul.

  50. Well, why such relevant records is so isolated from higher visibility, even yours Floyd? More importantly where are those fancier representative comparisons and voting past. Heritage appears to have best you on that one in a recent hard copy mailed months ago. Not bad for being a fundament info provider for the reps. Okay, being a believer in the power of report frequency, where does reports such as Newt’s and others leave us? Better brush some differences aside, cause I see only a few grains of sand left in the timer, better use the fleeting to fire up the info banks better, and in short order to have our own – ONCE and FOR ALL choice.

  51. Most of this has been debunked or is conspiracy theory fodder. The video at the end of your post was made by The John Birch Society – a known conspiracy theory nutjob org, shunned by William F. Buckley. They support Ron Paul.

Articles written by Jennifer Rubin at the Post should also be taken with a grain of salt as she is a major Romney supporter. And anything written about Newt via The Business Insider should be researched as the Editor in Chief is a known Trig Truther.

The CFR and Bohemian Grove are nothing but Think Tanks. They are not taking over the world, it's a bunch of hog wash.

    Here's some good info: http://www.newt.org/answers?mid=5307938

    • Kimberly,

Your hyperlink points to what Newton SAYS. The John Birch Society points to what Newt has DONE.

Newton's blog is more a conspiracy than the facts presented by the JBS.

And if you knew what was best for you, you would shun William F. Buckley — he is a globalist neo_CON.

    • JohnHerbert Sullivan says:

Kimberly, you are well intentioned but misinformed. Go to http://www.cfr.org, the web site of the Council On Foreign Relations, and read their own history. Then in their "search" box type in North American Union and read how the Council advocates, today, the metamorphiszing of the United Stated into a North American Union with its own new currency, The Amero, to be owned and controlled by the same families who control The Federal Reserve Bank of New York which was given control of our money supply by The Federal Reserve Act of 1913. David Rockefeller is Chairman Emeritus of the Council On Foreign Relations and the Rockefeller family, along with the Rothschilds of Europe and the Warburgs of Germany and the Stewarts (The Royal Family) of England own the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and our Federal Reserve System. Look at your own currency and see that it is "A Federal Reserve Note" or a debt instrument owed to The Federal Reserve Bank and not the United States Government. Pror to the 1913 passage of the Federal Reserve Act the U.S. issued U.S. Treasury Notes. The "National Debt" is the money we owe to the Federal Reserve System i.e. the Federal REserve Bank of New York.. Follow the money.

    • Patriot Diva says:

That's exactly what you are supposed to think Kimberly. I can assure you neither organization is as innocuous as you claim. Two book titles I suggest are "Brotherhood of Darkness" and "Hope of the Wicked". They are offered in World Net Daily's online bookstore. Read those and then tell me what you think. Also, the world has always had its share of people who would do anything for power, money, and influence. What make you so sure they would not band together especially if they believe the world's resources are already strained to the limit?

  52. YOU STILL HAVEN'T CONVINCED ME TO VOTE FOR OBAMA over GINGRICH!

    • maxinegridi says:

A pox on both of these 'houses'! The one an openly far-left candidate who is doing all in his power to bring down America; and the other an untrustworthy wolf in conservative clothing!

Only God can help us now … by raising up Michele Bachmann … the most loyal and patriotic true-blue conservative in the entire lot of them!

Lord … even though we don't deserve it … please have mercy on us!

  53. I for one am trying to destroy a Neo-con who PRETENDS to be Conservative. Who PRETENDS to be Christian. Who PRETENDS to be pro-America.

I can't count on the Judeo-liberal press to do this job for me.

  54. We are not going to find a perfect candidate.
    Report

  55. Mike Carey says:

I doubt that there will even be an election in 2012. The way things are going, (which are mostly orchestrated by Obama and his thugs) we will have martial law by then. Obama, the dictator, wants to stay in control.

  56. JohnHerbert Sullivan says:

I NO LONGER SUPPORT NEWT GINGRICH FOR PRESIDENT

This brilliantly delivered and well researched truth about the Internationalist, Newt Gingrich, must be seen by every Constitutional Conservative in America and all support for Newt must be withdrawn and, instead, we must galvanize our support around Ron Paul and possibly Rick Santorum. We are so far advanced into the One Worlder's World, we stand so close to the precipice, that we must all pay great attention to who we are supporting this time for President — because I do not think we will have another opportunity as Americans living in a Constitutional Government.

Newt's card carrying membership in The Council On Foreign Relations, which i just verified myself, says is all. For a brief period over recent months I was was a supporter of Newt's, I met with him and was genuinely dazzled by his debate skills and his intellect. I support Newt no more. Our character and our individual principles are the sum of our past actions — not our words of today or our debating skills or intellectual prowess. Newt Gingrich would propel us into the New World Order envisioned by the International Bankers that he teams with and who , not so curiously, funded him through the $1.6 Million his company received from Fannie Mae to lobby for its unregulated continuance before the 2008 melt down caused by government backing for loans to the uncreditworthy paid for with our tax dollars. i have used my own name in this post to underscore the seriousness of our current crisis and how we must all get active, get informed and participate to save our Constitutional Country.

  57. Well one thing about it with all the dirt diggers out here we shouldn't worry about any thing surprising us on GOP candidates, I am going to almost guarantee Newt would will be 10 times the leader any of the rest of the field at the moment, if we want to kiss Israels and our a** good bye a vote for Paul would be the order of the day. I KNOW Newt will wipe the floor up with OBozo's sorry socialist a** and I wouldn't miss that for the world. All I can say everyone should have been this dedicated when it came to Barry Soretoro's election!!

  58. Seriously people??? I have read the article and the subsequent remarks by people and what it comes down to is obviously this is written by someone who is pushing Paul for President. That's fine that you support him. That's what makes America great – choices! However – when everything is said and done THIS is what tears our party apart! No matter WHO ends up getting the bid to go against Obama, WE as a party need to stick together and vote that person into office or we're doomed to another 4 yrs like we're going thru now! Can you afford that? We can't, not my family. I have been leaning towards Newt because he #1 refuses to play the games in debates that the other candidates do – I LIKE that! #2 he has more experience than any one else and does a great job in debates #3 he's said some things that I really like – things I agree with. I was excited when Perry initially got in – then he said we were heartless if we didn't want to pay for illegal immigrant's school fees. Uh uh … on to Cain. I still believe he's innocent however he didn't respond well to the allegations and continues to flub up on foreign policy questions fired at him. NOT good. Romney? Please. Another Obama – though he might be one of the few that would appeal to the moderates that we desperately need on our side to win this battle. Paul? Saying that federal agents shouldn't carry guns says to me he's anti-guns for one. But his stance on the military and its position in this world/country is what puts me over the top with NOT supporting this man. I've never heard a politician more anti-American in this type of stance in my short life! NOT what we need for our country. Period!

    • Fay Harris says:

what is wrong with Herman Cane, Mechael Bachman and Ron Paul have not seen any tainted past on Mechael Bachaman or Ron Paul. or have I missed something.

  59. Grasshopper says:

This is nothing but twisted extremist propaganda.

  60. Yep!!! The Democrat Assassins are out in full force

  61. Kevin Beck says:

About the serving of divorce papers to his wife while she was in the hospital: How come their children from that marriage dispute that claim? If that's the way these claims are vetted, then I have lost a little respect for your reporting.

I still don't believe Mr. Newt is a true conservative. In fact, I have trouble finding ANY of the current candidates for President that can truly claim that position on the podium. In fact, if neither Ron Paul nor Gary Johnson are the nominees of one of the political parties, I will have a difficult time finding someone to vote for as President.

Among the ones the press wants to promote, Herman Cain is the least-disastrous possibility.

  62. I am in a quandry like all of you — as a Constitutional Conservative, I don't see anyone but Ron Paul as the most suitable for restoring the constitutional basis of this Republic.

That said, if everyone splinters their votes to this person or that or, worse yet, doesn't vote, Obama is sure to win in 2012. I don't think of 'lesser of two evils' so much as I think: STOP OBAMA NOW. We need everyone to vote for the eventual GOP nominee AND take back the U.S. Senate and every possible State Legislature. It is critical that we do this. Once the conservatives regain control we can stand up and shout all we want, and demand action. But we have to get there first.

  63. So…how do we know this is factual? The information really just looks like a hit piece on Newt. Seems as if the choices boil down to Newt and Mitt. Mitt can't seem recognize there is a lot of USA beyond the New England states. Almost anyone will be BETTER than our present president. I really like Herman even if he isn't up to speed on Libya–I'm sure the State Dept. can bring him up to speed. No one is perfect!! The most imperfect leader is in the White House now! Let's quit tearing our candidates down and start listing their good qualities–I'm sure they all have some!

  64. He's a lobbyist and NOT a conservative. Tea Party please wake up. What are you guys doing voting for this fake conservative.

  65. Hitler was a brilliant speaker and debater!!! Look what he did to his people.

  66. Rose Heger says:

I can't believe how much you like to dig up stuff on Newt, nothing is new here, and he has been very open about his career. Why didn't we see the stuff like this, and even worse, on our current president when he was running for office…..give me a break. Newt IS a conservative and has been for 40 years! People are sick and tired of guys like you constantly smearing candidates! I am unsubscribing from your e-mails, they just make me upset!!!!!!!!!!!!

  67. D Y Frazier says:

Whoever went to the trouble to research and outline the information above on Gingrich, I challenge that person to do indept research and outline all the information they find on Obama, and every other GOP candidate. If the author doesn't, then I must consider the person who developed all this information has a chip on his/her shoulder and can't stand Gingrich.

    • Patriot Diva says:

Mr. Frazier, there's reams of horrid information about Obama as well. I certainly do not support Obama. However, I did some research and found much of the same informtion Floyd is reporting. It's like a of people commenting on this sight are trying to kill the messenger. Newt is NOT a conservative. He can talk a good game, but looking at his actions, I will not support him in the primary.

Thank you so much Floyd Brown for telling the truth about Newt Gingrich! Anyone who is a member of Council on Foreign Relations, Bohemian Grove, Bilderbergs, Free Masons, Illuminati, or any other such group is NOT to be trusted. They are all pushing for the U.S. to give up its sovreignty as a nation and be under the dominion of the UN. These are all the New World Order guys, and they have screwed up everything enough already.

  70. ROBERT AUGERI says:

I GUESS I HAD MY HEAD BURIED IN THE SAND. NEWT THE GRINCH HAS LOST ALL OF MY SUPPORT AND I WILL DO EVERYTHING TO BRING HIM DOWN. I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE SOMEONG CAN FLIP FLOP LIKE THE OF HIM. I THIS IS WHAT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAS TO OFFER GOD HELP US.

  71. phoenixx101 says:

Newt will gradually push the nation to the left through compromises… Just as he has since the Carter Administration.

If we don't put a true conservative in the WH, we will pay dearly. Much parallels with the NAZI historical take over of Germany through policy changes and bureaucratic control of agencies. *(NOT revolution)* There are progressives/communists in Federal positions and state positions through out the country. Newt will leave many appointed positions in place to bolster re-election for 2016 just like Bush did. Many elected positions were funded with Soros money. Soros will actually fund the Republican if he believes the candidate has a compromises record. The left media is not going after Newt with the gusto they went after Palin and Cain. That should tell you something. They are afraid of Palin and Cain… Why do you think they are bashed with such fervor from the media but not Newt. A little bashing to create the illusion the left doesn't like Newt but not like Palin and Cain. If Newt gets the nomination, the left media will come out that they like him… just like they did with John McCain.

Are you really certain you want to take a chance on Newt? If he appoints 2-3 judges to the Supreme Court that are borderline liberals. That could finish it. Right now on the 2nd Amendment it was 5-4 for only 2 years ago. If the Democrats/Progressives/Communists gain control of the Supreme Court AGAIN as in 1857 with the Dred Scott Decision which was totally unconstitutional… Look out…

Please look deeper than he is a good debater.

  72. phoenixx101 says:

  73. By today's standards Gingrich is a conservative. He's surely no a RINO.

  74. Newt Gingrich is the most intelligent person that has ever been in our congress. He makes Obama as still in kindergarten. This is exactly what we need to create jobs, Becoming oil independent, And protecting our children’s futures. Obama may be a nice person but it takes brains and not a nice guy to run a country. Remember he never had a job. Only as a community organizer which was contributing billions $ to the Black Schools and mortgages to deadbeats. If he had a brain this would never have happened and it is what started the break down of our economy. He must be removed any way it takes, with nothing left off the table. His brother Holder must be removed he is a terrorist and should be arrested and sent
To Guantanamo, with the rest of his kind.

  75. Don't care what Newt's baggage is, he is the best man for the job.
He is the most intelligent and has been there and there will be no
pulling the wool over his eyes. He's been there, done that.
Newt for President and Ron Paul as VP
    or vice versa.

  76. phoenixx101 says:

I wonder how many lefties are on this blog going yeah Newt. The reason I wonder is because there are so many conservatives supporting a center left politician.

  77. phoenixx101 says:

In 2008, Newt Gingrich did a television commercial with Nancy Pelosi in which he stated that they both agree that "our country must take action to address climate change". He now calls making this commercial "a mistake", but this is yet another example of the lack of sound judgment that Gingrich has shown throughout his entire political career….
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-NIbZXNRns&fe

  78. phoenixx101 says:

Newt Gingrich also worked with Nancy Pelosi to promote the idea of a national sales tax on energy.

  79. You can add another one to the Newt history. At the 11/22/11 GOP debate he presented the Chilean social security model as his NEW IDEA. The only problem; It's been a Cain issue for moths. Even a video from the Oregon gathering of eagles (August 2011). Cain proposed in in a GOP debate on 09/07/11. This shows that Gingrich wants to be POTUS so bad he will steal ideas from his friend. What does it tell you about his character?

  80. Mark Bratcher says:

Newt is a crook. Simple. You dont see that. You as smart as a Rock

  81. The only "alternative" to Ron Paul is Obama.

The Republicans obviously want 4 more years.

    • The GOP makes a terrible ruling party and an excellent opposition party. If it looks like the GOP will keep the house and take the senate, I would probably vote for Obama over the GOP candidate if the GOP candidate were not a constitutional conservative. You can't trust today's GOP to own both houses and the executive.

  82. Greg Zotta says:

    No Newt for President
Sean Hannity has said the country needs to elect a true Ronald Reagan conservative to the office of the President. Then he mentions Newt Gingrich should run for President. I do not understand the contradiction, because Newt is not a true Reagan conservative.
Newt says the United States is a center right country and the tea party movement shows the American people are not happy with Washington. Newt, tell us something we don’t already know. The American people are waking up to the radical agenda of the Obama administration and the Democrats/Statists. Common Sense Conservatism is rising again and the Statist’s day started coming in November.
Bob Dole/Dull said it was his turn to run for President and we got 4 more years of the rapist Bill Clinton. Then it was John McCain’s “turn” and we ended up with Barack Hussein Obama.
The following observations and questions are the reason I do not believe Newt Gingrich is a real common sense Reagan conservative Republican espoused by Hannity.
Gary Gill was running against Missouri’s 3rd District Democrat Representative Dick Gephardt and he was leading in the polls until Newt praised Gephardt. Gill ended up losing the election.
Newt made the Contract with America that helped the Republicans win the US House in 1994.
What did the Republicans do after they won the US House in 1994? What was enacted? Did they follow through on the contract? No.
In 2005 he teamed up with Hillary Clinton on National Healthcare and claimed she would be a formidable candidate for President. He did a Climate Change commercial with Pelosi and teamed up with Sharpton on education.
Newt backed Dede Scozzafava, another RINO, in the New York Congressional race.

Newt was on Greta and commented to her, “You strengthen yourself by attracting more people than by driving them away,” implying that you must compromise your conservative principles in order to expand the party. I believe you stand on conservative principles & let the people come to you.
Newt is another crony capitalist as he is a member of GE's healthymagination advisory board.
Newt supports an individual mandate for healthcare, i.e. he supports Obamacare.
Above all, he stated the Era of Reagan Conservatism is over.

He is positioning himself to run for President as a middle of the roader, and is being too cute and disingenuous when he is asked about running for President and gives evasive answers. Now he is in. Newt is out for Newt. He is not a true conservative and this country does not need him as President. Before Hannity or anyone else lends too much support to Newt, Newt should have him explain his reasoning for his actions.

  83. Ron Paul is the only logical choice…he stands tall amongst these mental midgets!

  84. Thanks for the info. Excerpted and linked back here. Good info.

  85. Richard A says:

Newt's membership in the CFR makes his suspect; however, the late David Lawrence, publisher of the then conservative "U.S.News and World Report", was a member of the CFR. He claimed to oppose the majority of the organisation's policies, but wanted to be on the inside to keep track of its operations.

At this particular juncture any of the Republican offerings for president are infinitely better than the current usurper of the office of POTUS. I'd like a Paul/Bachmann ticket, but I'll take what I can get.

  86. Hey Floyd – thanks for posting this. Now do one about Romney and Perry – the comparison would be great for those who listen too much to pundits and who don't do their own research!

  87. We need to take the licks to restore this country back under the true word and the constitution. People need to start understanding a true constitutionalist which is Ron Paul.
