If you look at our Declaration of Independence, a valid argument for a full reset emerges. From the Declaration:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.
As our fundamental rights, given to us by God and protected in the US Constitution, are trampled on daily by such acts as the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act), strict gun control legislation, controlled free speech zones, forced health care mandates, and a government driving us into a fiscal catastrophe, a full RESET of the US Government is becoming more necessary.
Our so-called elected officials no longer listen to the American people who put them in office. But instead, the American people are supposed to do what THEY say. Our system of government has been turned a full 180 degrees from what our Founders had envisioned. These politicians are about nothing more than power, greed, and control.
This entire current scenario looks just like 1939 Germany when gun control and confiscation emerged, the media was turned into a massive propaganda machine for Hitler, and all those who opposed him were eventually forced to board trains. Never to be seen or heard from again.
At this point, with seeing how much weaponry and ammunition is being purchased by Homeland security, and the possibility that FEMA camps have been established, is America about to suffer the same fate? We, as Americans, must be diligent. We must study history, or we will be doomed to repeat it. We must prepare for a fight, as I fear it is coming. It is not my intention to scare anyone; my intention is to wake you up and get you to prepare for a coming attack from our own government. And it is coming for sure. Prepare to stand, fellow Patriots; and as always, stay safe and be aware of your surroundings.

Evertime there is an Article about Americans Possibly having to Fight For Our Freedoms, You go to the Comments Section and you just hear Crickets Chirping!!!! LOL……Americans want Freedom, But they don’t want to have to Fight For It!!!!
Duh, all this was tried in 1860-65 and it didn’t work. That’s originally where the US Constitution made its’ 180 degree turn. One side said they didn’t want to participate and instead chose to leave. The other side said NO, we’re changing the way the US Constitution is to be understood and it now says and means you can’t leave, even in protest. Other side says, “Molon Labe”. Other side says, I believe I will! And they did! And they won! And the 180 degree turn was made permanent! It continues unto this day where it once again strays so far from the tolerable, people are once again saying, “Molon Labe”! Jefferson Davis and other Southern leaders plainly stated there would be more war to come because the issue wasn’t properly settled according to the US Constitution directed. Meaning they understood the Republic was dead, and Lincoln said the same thing, that he destroyed the Republic! Are you ready for round two?

You’ve got that just about right. After 1865, the entire equation changed. The supreme court, part of the central government, became the arbiter of the constitutionality of a law. The founders envisioned that the “divided sovereignty” of the various states, e.g., the citizens of those states, would decide. So, since 1865, we have the central government branch deciding the legality of another. Foxes, chicken coops, etc.
The Confederate States lost primarily because they lacked moral standing, and evil always fails. Did you forget about the Dred Scott decision? The Supreme Court ruled 7-2 that the Constitution did not apply to a free or slave black man. There are some in this country who believe that any law passed by Congress and singed into law by the President is binding on the people and the respective States. The Dred Scott case demonstrates that laws are not always compliant with our Constitution. Such laws as these must be resisted at all cost. Recently, the illegal Department of Agriculture issued decrees claiming the power to dictate school lunch ingredients for our kids. This Department has no such authority. In fact it exists in contradiction to the 16 powers that the Constitution grants the Federal Government. Reset is not only required, it is the duty of all citizens to ensure that this country returns to its founding structure, principals, and God.

Michael you ask if we are ready for round two. Do we have a real choice if we are to survive? This president means many of us real harm,. Make no mistake.
Think about it. If 11 of the original American Colonies had not compromised with two of them which wanted to keep slavery, and not deleted the clause which was originally in the Declaration of Independence the American experiment in government of the people would have begun without the hypocritical legalization of the institution of slavery which brought so much suffering upon those enslaved and too the nation as a whole. There would not have been a reason for the Civil War–not that slavery was the primary reason for the start of the war and it was not–but the economic reasons would not have existed.
Robert E. Lee maintained in his private letters that “…although slavery was regrettable, it was an institution ordained by God and as such would disappear only when God ordained it.” (Reading the Man: A Portrait of Robert E. Lee Through His Private Letters” E. B. Pryor. So you see, Southerners embraced faulty doctrine–unbiblical doctrine–in order to justify slavery in their own hearts and minds. the Bible does not promote slavery as an institution–reading the narrative about Onesimus (“Least”) and the wordplay the apostle uses in sending him back to his master as a brother and “useful,” as well as the entirety of Scripture examined clearly demonstrates the opposite–that Jesus came to set men free from bondage.
Similarly, today, the once doctrinally sound Christian Church–and the “Conservative” Republican Party in America now compromises with un-biblical doctrines determined by the liberal theologians and embraces homosexuals as other than sinful and they compromise with those who murder apx. 3000 unborn babies every day and out of this compromise with what God has to say in His Word–just as with the erroneous biblical exegesis which proponents of slavery embraced in order to justify their sin in their own hearts and minds and within the law of this nation–American society has and continues to reap the wages of sin.
If America were to reset anything it would be advisable for her to reset her foundation upon the Word of God–the same Creator from whom all men are endowed with certain unalienable rights, the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible, not to be confused with the Mormon’s construct of a creation who happens to be the brother of Satan or the Romanist construct of the Eucharistic Christ (Read the Eucharistic Christ and the New Evangelization’ by Roger Oakland), or the liberal, radical-historical critical schools of textual criticism’s which derive their fictional construct of a Jesus determined by the Sitz em Leben of the 1st Century and use the Graf-Wellhausen Documentary Hypothesis to compose whatsoever they wish their Jesus to mean at any given time and place in history (Read ‘Evidence That Demands a Verdict’ by Josh McDowell).
America has been blessed by God throughout her history to the degree that she has nationally adhered to the Word of God. Conversely, to the degree that America has deviated from biblically sound national policies she has reaped the whirlwind of her poor choices.
The only hope for the American experiment in government of the people is a return to biblical standards of righteousness.
The place to start the restoration of the liberty and justice reflected in what once was epitomized in the American experiment-a reflection of the liberty and justice which in all of human history was nowhere else demonstrated so perfectly as on the Cross at Cavalry where Jesus was crucified that ‘We the People’ might be set free from the bondage of sin and have eternal life…Hallelujah!– is first and foremost within the Body of Christ here in America.

Well you’re kind’of assuming some things, but I can see your point. Let me ask you a question. How much of the old theology, the old way of reading, understanding and accepting Scripture have you done? I mean how much of the older sermons have you studied and how much have you studied how Christians *used* to accept Scripture as well as how they conducted their lives and morality based on Scripture as it was taught 200 or 300 years ago? Or 400 or 500 years ago?
My point is this, 300 years ago slavery was accepted as part of Christianity and there was little to no moral questioning of it. The basis lays in the Old Testament where slavery was looked favorably upon in several ways. In the New Testament Paul teaches us that we are slaves to someone. There has been books written on this very subject and not specifically in relation to the USA either. Even in the North slavery and forms of it were legal AFTER it was completely abolished in the South. So this was NOT just a problem concerning the South. Matter of fact the war wasn’t even over slavery, Lincoln said in his 1st Inaugural Address he wanted the South to keep their slaves but wanted their MONEY! This was reaffirmed by the Corwin Amendment in which Lincoln and the Northern States offered a deal to the States that had seceded. If they would pay their tariffs for the entire nation they would see to it that it was Constitutionally Amended that slavery would forever be allowed without it ever being allowed to be discussed in congress again! All the South had to do was show up at the Capital and vote to finish passing the Amendment, making it the law of the land. I now ask you; Why wouldn’t the South sign such an agreement? Why shouldn’t they sign such an agreement? If slavery was that important, then all they had to do was sign on the dotted line, pay the nations taxes and keep their slaves forever! But don’t forget, the state I come from, North Carolina thought slavery stood a better chance of staying an institution in the state if North Carolina remained in the union! AND North Carolina was willing to pay heavy taxes to remain in the union. However North Carolina seceded for another reason! I’ll give however much time you want to figure out why North Carolina secede! And I’ll give you a hint! Not only did North Carolina believe and secede for this very reason, so too did the states of Virginia, Tennessee and Arkansas. The secede NOT over slavery and NOT over paying all the nations tariffs, but it was something entirely different! Let’s see how really smart you are, any of you! Anyone answer it if you dare!
Finally I’ll add, Lincoln NEVER EVER ran his campaign of 1860 on the plank of ending or OPPOSING slavery! He never spoke of it during his campaign! So how could his election be related to him being anti-slavery? Of course you hear some of the Southern States accusing Lincoln of being anti-slavery, but was this an excuse, a pretext for something else since Lincoln NEVER on slavery? You tell me!
And THREE last questions for bonus points! About what percent of Southerners do you think owned slaves? Did blacks ever own slaves?

Like I wrote, there was a clause in the original draft of the Declaration of Ind. that would have outlawed slavery. “Unfortunately, the facts about slavery are not lessons taught in our schools and colleges. The gross misrepresentation and suggestion in textbooks and lectures is that slavery was a uniquely American practice done by racist white people to black people. I am aware that an extremely small–like 1% of Southern Whites owned slaves and that, in fact, there were Creole and even free blacks who owned slaves. I have no idea which state had the highest number of free blacks. I see you are far better read on the subject than me, but I think we can both agree that the history of slavery in America is currently being re-written by liberal revisionists who dishonor the field of history.

First let me state, I neither support nor deny slavery. I simply relate slavery as it has been a part of human history. I consider myself a slave in several ways, though slavery has many different understandings and meanings, both, religiously, physically, mentally, emotionally, politically and morally. Slavery means different things to different people and this also varies by societies and time period.
To claim Christianity rejects slavery, particularly from the past is a very wrong dogma and opinion to hold. To claim it was never a big part of church history is just as wrong. Sir, I do know my history, and most likely I know my history as well as any man on this planet! I have debated historians with their accredited Phds more than once, and more than once I have destroyed their positions. Even in college I drove my professors into raging cussing fits because I wouldn’t blindly accept what they said, calling them on their statements and then proving them wrong! And that was 30 years ago! Today I find it child’s play to debate or even converse with the “Revisionist” historians. I don’t come here to this site to simply debate others, or to simply prove them wrong. I already understand that everyone here doesn’t have the benefit of 40+ years of intensive historical study behind them. (btw concerning the study of history, I was responsible in the state of North Carolina for allowing the study of the Bible to be accepted as a course of historical study as it concerns the public schools curriculum, for a years credit. I say this because I study Scripture as a part of my studies concerning history. And for the True Christian Scripture is a study in history.)
I do hope as a Classical Historian, to help show the many errors of what decades of learning Revisionist History has done to the American public. We see this here in the TWCJ every day and I see it in all of the authors who write articles for us here, yourself included. All I am trying to do is bring these things to everyone’s attention in order they may gain some semblance of what history really entailed, Christianity being no different being a part of history.
As for myself, I do want one thing, and I espouse my beliefs and desires where ever I go in reference to history and current events. I WANT THIS UNION DISSOLVED! I want my state and any other state that so desires to be able to secede and leave this unholy union of Satan! To stay in this united States is the same as signing your death warrant. It is suicide! The article happened to touch on the subject in such a way I was able to make a reasonable response pointing out mis-statements and mis-understandings by the author. I will have no problem in defending my assertions I wrote as a response.

There are thousands of other links to read. Plus if need be I could find a few sermons on this very subject. But my point is this, it is NOT slavery itself that I am fighting for or against in the article, it was the continuous assertion that slavery was a Southern institution, that all Southerners bears responsibility for it with no fault placed on anyone else. Then we are stereotyped and vilified continuously without end. It is as if society has been programmed to subject all Southerners as some kind of curse for the actions of a whole country, and then they blame Lincoln’s War on the South because they is claimed Southerners were seceding in order to keep slavery. (I pointed out in my previous post this wasn’t so.) The after effects from 1865 still rages strong today in this Satanic country. I am told the war is over, yet it is thrown into my face every day! And I’m more than a little tired of it, especially since the country has went to to the devil since 1865 anyways!
Think about this; Until 1865 most of the Nations greatest leaders were Southerners. Most of the early Founding Fathers and writers of the US Constitution were Southerners. Most of the ablest military men were Southerners. The South produced app. 75% of the nations total GNP and paid app. 87% of the nations taxes by 1860. The top three best educated states in the united States in the 1860 census was 1- South Carolina, 2- Virginia, 3- North Carolina. What I want to know is this; What caused such a drastic change after 1865? The South never meant anything to anyone concerning politics, economic GDN, religion, or much of anything else after that time. Anyone known as a Southerner was ridiculed and avoided like the plague. As a result ALL the power base of the entire country went North. The people who won the war had total control over everything, they even decided how the US Constitution was to be read and interpreted for over the next 150 years! In the process the scheme they used to start a war and to win it, also played the part in eventually destroying the whole country. They had no voice of real opposition to make them abide properly by the US Constitution as it was done before 1861, simply because they destroyed all dissenting voices and kept them quiet.
To this day we see the results ever increasing from this voiding of the US Constitution. Even Lincoln claimed he had destroyed the Republic in saving the union. And these same people knows today their biggest enemies are still those same people they defeated from 1865. They know they can NEVER let them have a true say in government, for if they ever do, they will be forced to follow the US Constitution as it was originally meant to be. This is why every person claiming any Southern heritage is always vehemently attacked, vilified and continuously stereotyped and portrayed as lacking in many different things while also being falsely accused of being the instigators and creators of anything anti-government, or against against any group. It’s simply a matter of power control, helping keep the status quo.
I mentioned in my last post, asking why North Carolina secede from the union in 1861. Read this article from the New York Times. Oddly the authors were trying to portray North Carolina as supporting slavery, which they did, but they wrote the article in such a way it showed North Carolina seceded claiming slavery wasn’t the reason for secession, and odder still North Carolina stating they believed their odds on keeping the institution of slavery better if they stayed in the union. (In consideration of the Corwin Amendment I’m sure.) The other 3 states secede for the same reasons. These states were known as the Backbone of the Confederacy. Article here:

Great links! I thank you, I would offer this for your consideration and I am only reaching back into my memory, but a study of the words used in some of your biblical references will probably show SOME of your references to have been using a word which today would be recognized as needing to be translated correctly as “manservant” and not what we refer to today as a “slave.” In other words, more of an employee who lived with the family and may have conceivably become part of a family structure. I’m not trying to make excuses for the horrific institution of slavery, but in those days, for a person to indenture themselves to a person or family of means was surely a survival tactic.
And I’m also a slave uto the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ– (as well a King and a Priest, and a Child of God), so we don’t have any disagreement on those “offices” or titles conveyed unto the life life of a Believer.
My point is this. The very American experiment in government by the people exemplifies the application of biblical principles by, for the majority part godly Chirstian men, to the formation of a government within the course of human history, (or ‘His Story,’ as I like to say it!), demonstrates the extension of Liberty and Justice unto a free people, (‘We the People’), only possible as those cherished values were rightly understood and reflected as having been achieved and offered on the Cross at Cavalry.
Yes, those men erred. For one–and surely not the only incident which can be highlighted–they compromised with the two states which wanted to keep slavery as evil.
Jesus came to set the captives free. Free from spiritual bondage, the bondage of ignorance, economic bondage, ideological bondage…etc…, etc…. Could their be a more synonymous definition to His title “Christ” (xpristos)=”Messiah”=”Anointed One”=’Anointed One’ having the contemporaneous meaning of King within the Jewish culture.
Free from the bondage to their enemies, but “slaves” if you please to their King, their Anointed One, their ‘Messiah,’ their Christ–Lord Jesus–yet, not slaves as the negative connotations may arise in your mind, for simultaneously Kings, Priests, and Children of the King. Like the early patriots cried ‘No King but Jesus!’

Actually no, I used the term slave correctly and already stated that other uses or associations could be applied to the term “slave” during different time periods and by different groups of people. However the original and commonly accepted term for slave is Biblical and is also understood as such from historical research. But yes, your understanding of the term “man-servant” can also be applied in certain places. If you need specific references I can supply them, but I don’t wish to go to that trouble for nothing.
You still fail to understand the mindset and morality of people several hundred years ago. You must try and understand times from their POV, using their mindset, knowledge and culture, NOT today’s. Morals do not change, but understandings of them do, or they can simply be denied.
Society today may see things as evil that people did not see as evil 200 years ago.
Some people 200 years ago did see slavery as evil, but NOT a majority. It would have been more evil to have sent the freed slaves back to Africa as Lincoln had wanted to do. It also would have been evil to have simply turned them loose on the public as they were done after the war.
otoh you completely fail to see the evil that the North committed against not only black people, but ALL people! Before you can accuse one group of being evil you must pull that log out of your eye! I can prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that people of the North were much more cruel and wicked than slave holders of the South. You just haven’t had time to think about this before, but it is true. Without going into details yet, I will give a few generalities. Genocide against the American Indians, especially during and after Lincoln’s War. Factory workers in Northern industry were treated worse than slave laborers in the South. Atrocities committed against Confederate soldiers that made Andersonville look like a picnic, and the problems at Andersonville were NOT done out spite or malice. however they were in the North. Wholesale destruction of Southern property, pillage, rape and murder of civilians that is documented. Abduction of women and children, them being relocated against their will in the North for SLAVE labor! Some never to return home. Let me tell you about the 600! How about this one tidbit from congress:
“Rebel prisoners in our hands are to be subjected to a treatment finding its parallels only in the conduct of savage tribes and resulting in the death of multitudes by the slow but designed process of starvation and by mortal diseases occasioned by insufficient and unhealthy food and wanton exposure of their persons to the inclemency of the weather.”

“You are to burn their houses, seize all their property and shoot them. You will be sure that you strictly carry out this order. You will inform the inhabitants for ten or fifteen miles around your camp, on all the roads approaching the town upon which the enemy may approach, that they must dash in and give you notice, and upon any one failing to do so, you will burn their houses and shoot the men.” ~ Official Records

Under that flag, Ulysses S. Grant issued General Order No. 11, expelling all Jews from parts of Tennessee, Mississippi, and Kentucky. The Confederate States of America never practiced anti-Semitism. Under that flag, American citizens in the 1940s were forcibly removed from their homes and herded into concentration camps solely because their ancestors had been born in Japan. The Confederate States of America never put anyone into a concentration camp based on his parents’ ethnicity. Unrestricted submarine warfare against merchant shipping Breach of London Naval Treaty (1930) no prosecutions; Chester Nimitz admitted responsibility at Nuremberg Trials; questionable whether war crime or a breach of a treaty. During the post war Nuremberg Trials, in evidence presented at the trial of Karl Dönitz on his orders to the U-boat fleet to breach the London Rules, Admiral Chester Nimitz stated that unrestricted submarine warfare was carried on in the Pacific Ocean by the United States from the first day that nation entered the war. Captain John T. Compton was court-martialed for killing 40 POWs in his charge. He claimed to be following orders. The investigating officer and the Judge Advocate declared that Compton’s actions were unlawful, but he was acquitted. Following the capture of Biscari Airfield in Sicily on July 14, 1943, seventy-six German and Italian POWs were shot by American troops of the 180th Regimental Combat Team, 45th Division during the Allied invasion of Sicily. These killings occurred in two separate incidents between July and August 1943. (I personally have an eye witness account of the soldier and his troops massacring Japanese soldiers at Luzon. He told me he personally took part in it, the machine gunning of app 300 Japanese prisoners that were marched to the beach and machine gunned.)
Mr Farrell, I can post THOUSANDS of these stories! I mean THOUSANDS! I’ve not even started! And I can go into details if need be. And I can post very damning letters from union officers and soldiers that shows the same. Rutherford B Hayes actually wanted to put all Southerners on reservations with the Indians, those he didn’t have killed.
I think it extremely wise if you come down off your high horse and accept reality that life is not perfect for anyone. Your union was never perfect. All sides have their problems, yet the worst are those who are self-righteous to the point of condemning their neighbors while maintaining their innocence.
And I’ll ask you this; In all of history please show me where the race in one country fought itself in a war in order to free another race in that country? Now I’ll state it this way; In all of history can you show me specifically where one race of people went to war to specifically free another race of people? I’ll say it ain’t happened yet.
War is not fought to free people, but rather to enslave them. Think about it… Lincoln’s War enslaved a whole nation. It just took a while for it to fully take effect. We’re at the crossroads now.

The great danger of our time–and the last two hundred or so years has been the radical historical-critical schools of textual criticism spawned by the Graf-Wellhausen documentary hypothesis which itself was spawned by Hegel’s adaptation of the Darwinian theory of Natural Selection–(though we all know it goes back farther than Darwin)–to literature and most especially biblical textual criticism. Please read Chapter 15 in ‘Evidence That Demands a Verdict’ by Josh McDowell. It’s a two volume set and I think it was in the 2nd volume. I forget.
It is important to know that the radical historical-critical schools of textual criticism: form criticism, source criticism, modern criticism, “progressive” criticism, liberal criticism, documentarians, and probably some other new names–they keep on changing because it’s harder to take down a moving target–are founded upon complete conjecture…lies of a purported J/E/P/D collection of supposed source documents. Not a fragment exists to defend their postulations. (They actually invent a great more than the first four, but the J/E/P/D “structure” is famously synonomous with the theory that is most often asserted as factual.
More deeply there is an enormous anti-supernatural bias and also, extremely notable so NOTA BENE that the Documentarians have a pronounced anti-Israel inclination in their pre-suppositional theories that many learned men of letters have debunked as not only unreliable, but most prejudicial.
At the time of the US Constitution being written, there was no compromise concerning slavery, or very very little.

In short, it would not be wise to reset the United States until such time as ‘We the People’ are prepared to re-establish the foundation of our nation even more firmly on the absolute Truth incorporated into the Word of God than the Founders of this great nation under God managed to do in their day. I do not believe that he actually won a second term, I am convinced that he stole a second term, as in all probability, he also stole his first term through massive voter fraud, that the Chicago Machine committed on to the American people. A perfect example of voter fraud was blatantly committed in Minnesota, when Al Franklin became Senator Al Frankin, when in a recount that took over eight months, it was determined that 550 felons voted for Franken, giving his a 312 vote advantage over Norm Coleman, when in reality he lost.
Guess which kind of votes made the difference in the outcome of the Senate race in Minnesota, after reviewing ballots that had been challenged during the recount, and counting 953 wrongly rejected “absentee ballots” the State Canvassing Board officially certified the recount results, with Franklin holding a 224 vote lead.
If you recall, it was also the “State Canvassing Board” in Florida that certified that Congressman Allen West had lost his Congressional seat, and it was later found, that the head of the Florida State Canvassing Board, was a long time loyal Democrat. That my fellow American’s, is why elections no longer mean anything in this country. Couple that with the simplicity of voter fraud, especially through absentee ballots, and we end up with a president that everyone knew, well not everyone, but most honest American’s, knew that Obama was neither eligible, or capable of being president, yet through massive voter fraud, and working around our Constitution, he was allowed to remain in power.
Ever wonder how Obama could have won 99% of the vote in key swing states, and loose the vote in all other states, where voter ID was required? That my friends, does not take a rocket scientist to try, and understand how the election was lost, by governor Mitt Romney, and stolen by Obama, and the “Chicago Machine,” that was headed up by Obama’s Propaganda Minister, David Axelrod.
Unfortunately in that Senate seat election in Minnestta, since the re-count took an extended period of time, before it was determined that felons made the difference in the election, a Federal Judge ruled that Al Frankin was the winner of the Senate seat in Minnesota. As a point worth mentioning, Al Frankin’s single vote, resulted in Obama-Care becoming law. Think that elections are not important, then think again. Unfortunately they are no longer honest, as you can see from what happened in Minnesota and throughout the entire United States.
In reality, the American people armed or disarmed, it matters not, since if Obama has enough support from his top brass, to order them to fire onto the American people that resist his will, we will all be slaughtered in a matter of weeks, if not days, should we try and resist his wishes. We all know what happened to Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, when his orders are not obeyed.
Withe the massive weapons build up in Homeland Security, coupled with all of the other things that we see that are going on in this country, it certainly appears that the Administration is planning to soon go to war, with those American’s that resist Obama’s will. Just look at the steps that Obama has been taking throughout the Middle-East? Countries that were once dominated by Shiite rulers like Gaddafi, and Assad in Syria, will soon be controlled by Sunni’s and the Muslin Broterhood. Egypt that is now in turmoil, is also being attempted to be controlled by a Sunni president, Mohammed Morsi, who also is both a Sunni, and a loyal Member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Only a blind person who not see the picture, that is being painted, by all of the pieces of the puzzle, as they slowly but surly all fall into place. Congress at one time, could have protected the American people from the nightmare that I believe awaits most American’s, and when they could have stopped this madness, they did nothing and now I believe that it is far too late, to change the direction of where this country is now headed.
If Obama intends to disarm the American people, which I believe is one of many of his objectives, similar to the way Chuck Hagel will be our next Secretary of Defense, Obama will disarm the American people, and he will do whatever it takes to do so.
Once we are all disarmed what happened in Nazi Germany, I believe will happen right here, in what was once known as America. Why else would Homeland Security, be building a “training facility” on 1,600 acres of land in Georgia? Why else would Homeland Security, purchase 1.5 billions rounds of ammunition, much of which is 357 hollow point ammunition that is designed to kill people, seven thousand fully automatic concealable weapons, thousands of bullet proof toll booths, with stop and go lights installed on them, if Homeland security was not getting ready for battle, with the American people?
Look at the pieces of the puzzle as they are all coming together, and ask yourselves a question, does it or does it not look like the Administration getting ready for a battle, to impose Obama’s will onto the American people, I think so, what do you think?

“My God! I Pity Your City!”
Early in the evening [of February 17] as the inhabitants, quieted by General Sherman’s assurances, were about retiring to their beds, a rocket went up in the lower part of the city. Another in the center, and a third in the upper part of town, succeeded. Dr. R.W. Gibbes was in the street near one of the Federal guards, who exclaimed on seeing the signals, “My God! I pity your city!” Mr. Goodwyn, who was mayor at the time, reports a similar remark from an Iowa soldier. “Your city is doomed! These rockets are the signal!” Immediately afterwards fires broke out in twenty different places.
The dwellings of Confederate Treasury Secretary George A. Trenholm and General Wade Hampton were among the first to burst into flames. Soldiers went from house to house, spreading the conflagration. Fireballs, composed of cotton saturated with turpentine, were thrown in at doors and windows. Many houses were entered and fired by means of combustible liquids poured upon beds and clothing, ignited by wads of burning cotton, or by matches from a soldier’s pocket. The fire department came out in force, but the hose-pipes were cut to pieces and the men driven from the streets. At the same time universal plundering and robbery began.
The burning of the house of R.W. Gibbes, an eminent physician, well-known to the scientific world, was thus described to me by his son:
“He had a guard at the front door; but some soldiers climbed in at the rear of the house, got into the parlor, heaped together sheets, poured turpentine over them, piled chairs on them, and set them on fire. As he remonstrated with them, they laughed at him. The guard at the front door could do nothing, for if he left his post, other soldiers would come in that way.
Columbia, south carolina, as it looked the morning after a visit from sherman’s fire fiends. “The guard had a disabled foot, and my father had dressed it for him. He appeared very grateful for the favor, and earnestly advised my father to save all his valuables. The house was full of costly paintings, and curiosities of art and natural history, and my father did not know what to save and what to leave behind. He finally tied up in a bedquilt a quantity of silver and gems. As he was going out the door the house was already on fire behind him — the guard said, ‘Is that all you can save?” “It is all I can carry,’ said my father. ‘Leave that with me,’ said the guard; ‘I will take charge of it, while you go back and get another bundle.’ My father thought he was very kind. He went back for another bundles, and while he was gone, the guard ran off on his lame leg with all the gems and silver.”
The soldiers, in their march through Georgia, and thus far into South Carolina, had a wonderful skill in finding treasures. They had two kinds of divining-rods,” negroes and bayonets. What the unfaithful servants of the rich failed to reveal, the other instruments, by thorough and constant practice, were generally able to discover. On the night of the fire, a thousand men could be seen in the yards and gardens of Columbia by the glare of the flames, probing the earth with bayonets.
The dismay and terror of the inhabitants can scarcely be conceived. They had two enemies, the fire in their house and the soldiery without. Many who attempted to bear away portions of their goods were robbed by the way. Trunks and bundles were snatched from the hands of hurrying fugitives, broken open, rifled, and then hurled into the flames. Ornaments were plucked from the necks and arms of ladies, and caskets from their hands. Even children and negroes were robbed.
Fortunately the streets of Columbia were broad, else many of the fugitives must have perished in the flames which met them on all sides. The exodus of homeless families, flying between walls of fire, was a terrible and piteous spectacle. Some fled to the parks; others to the open ground without the city; numbers sought refuge in the graveyards. Isolated and unburned dwellings were crowded to excess with fugitives.
Three-fifths of the city in bulk, and four-fifths in value, were destroyed. The loss of property is estimated at thirty millions. No more respect seems to have been shown for buildings commonly deemed sacred, than for any others. The churches were pillaged, and afterwards burned. St. Mary’s College, a Catholic institution, shared their fate. The Catholic Convent, to which had been confided for safety many young ladies, not nuns, and stores of treasure, was ruthlessly sacked. The soldiers drank the sacramental wine, and profaned with fiery draughts of vulgar whiskey the goblets of the communion services. Some went off reeling under the weight of priestly robes, holy vessels and candlesticks.
Yet the army of Sherman did not in its wildest orgies forget its splendid discipline. “When will these horrors cease?” asked a lady of an officer at her house. “You will hear the bugles at sunrise,” he replied; “then they will cease, and not till then.” He prophesied truly. “At daybreak, on Saturday morning,” said Gibbes, “I saw two men galloping through the streets, blowing horns. Not a dwelling was fired after that; immediately the town became quiet.”
Some curious incidents occurred. One man’s treasure, concealed by his garden fence, escaped the soldiers’ divining-rods, but was afterwards discovered by a hitched horse pawing the earth from the buried box. Some hidden guns had defied the most diligent search, until a chicken, chased by a soldier ran into a hole beneath the house. The soldier, crawling after and putting in his hand for the chicken, found the guns.
A soldier, passing in the streets and seeing some children playing with a beautiful little greyhound, amused himself by beating its brains out. Some treasures were buried in cemeteries, but they did not always escape the search of the soldiers, who showed a strong distrust of new-made graves.
Of the desolation and horrors our army left behind it, no description can be given. Here is a single instance: At a factory on the Congaree, just out of Columbia, there remained for six weeks a pile of sixty-five dead horses and mules, shot by Sherman’s men. It was impossible to bury them, all the shovels, spades, and other farming implements of the kind having been carried off or destroyed.
Columbia must have been a beautiful city, judging by its ruins. Many fine residences still remain on the outskirts, but the entire heart of the city is a wilderness of crumbling walls, naked chimneys, and trees killed by the flames. The fountains of the desolated gardens are dry, the basins cracked; the pillars of the houses are dismantled, or overthrown; the marble steps are broken. All these attest to the wealth and elegance which one night of fire and orgies sufficed to destroy.
