During the past week a number of Operation Fast and Furious watchers have been celebrating the notion that Congressman Darrell Issa’s February 14th letter to Eric Holder represents a last chance, comply or else, final offer to the gangster Attorney General.
Unfortunately, buying into such wishful thinking will result in nothing but disappointment as the Congressman has shown little in his dealings with the Attorney General over the past 6 months but a litany of empty threats and predictable retreats when they are ignored.
During his December 8th testimony before Issa’s House Government Reform Committee, Holder stated emphatically that his Department of Justice would NOT provide congress any Fast and Furious information dated later than February 4th of 2011. In support of that assertion he has prevented DOJ officials providing testimony to the House and ignored repeated requests for relevant letters and emails.
Perhaps such astounding arrogance should have surprised no one, for when the House at last filed a subpoena in October demanding the Department turn over approximately 80,000 Fast and Furious related documents, Holder ignored it, making clear even then that he had no intention of abiding by House demands.
And the House of Representatives—that is, the Republican Party—did nothing.
At the end of January, Deputy Attorney James Cole addressed a letter to Congress stating the Department of Justice in no way had the necessary TIME to comply with House requirements that it FINALLY turn over the documents subpoenaed 4 months earlier. This was in response to yet another Issa threat on January 27th to begin contempt proceedings against Holder should he fail to provide the material by a February 9th deadline.
And Issa reiterated that threat prior to the AG’s House testimony of Feb 2nd, stating once again there would be no choice but to initiate contempt proceedings should the documents demanded in the House subpoena not be produced.
Yet when February 9th passed without a single page having been turned over by the DOJ, rather than press ahead with a contempt filing, Darrell Issa provided Eric Holder and his minions an extension—an INDEFINITE extension, apparently “permitting” the most corrupt Attorney General in this nation’s history all the time in the world to continue his practice of ignoring the House and its subpoenas.
Holder and his criminal, White House boss KNOW Republicans haven’t the guts to file contempt charges against a black attorney general, just as they haven’t the backbone necessary to address the fact that there is a black, Manchurian candidate serving in the White House contrary to Constitutional requirements. Until Republicans somehow find the courage necessary to put the law and the Constitution of the United States above their all encompassing fear of the liberal media, Jesse Jackson and threats of rioting in the streets, the nation will continue to be subjected to the crippling agenda of an America hating, would-be dictator.
So don’t for a moment believe Darrell Issa will do anything more to Eric Holder than write threatening letters which the Regime no doubt post on its doors as material for daily ridicule. After all, it was the American people who voted these cowardly Republicans into office. And as is always the case, voters get what they deserve.

Yes, it’s quite possible (likely?) that he has been blackmailed or threatened. THAT is why I think ALL of congress has “wimped out”.
I don’t, I think they are all part of the New World Order. They’ve been promised something, big jobs, land, power, and they’ve sold their souls to the devil. Unless the Lord comes and takes us out of here, OR He has mercy on us and we can get this country back on track, we are doomed. I think the former happens. It seems far too late with the wickedness and calling evil good that is going on. With only two destinations to choose from in our final flight, I’d make arrangements with the Father post haste. Today could be the day.

If you’re suggesting Boehner, Issa and House Republicans in general are waiting for a more propitious time to file charges/begin proceedings against Holder–such as, closer to the election–nothing would make me happier!!
But I really don’t believe it will happen. The recent history of Republican Party aversion to making waves just proves too damning.

Well, if they’re serious, I have to wonder just where on the Grand Plan it will happen? If I’m right that they want to flush the country down the toilet, maybe they’re going to do it to coincide with WWIII and Obama being Exposed for what he is.
This is really getting old. Should we believe WND Or believe other sites that are saying something else. Maybe, WND is laying down some BS in order to get people riled up, and excited? Maybe, WND want to see if we who jump on their site all the time will finally say, enough is enough, it’s time to start a revolution? Who know’s now day’s. With the world, AND America going thru the BS we are all going thru, time is prime for another Civil War, because that is exactly what it would be, are we really ready for something like that? Personally, I like being able to vent, and put down in words what I am freely thinking at the time reading WND’S BS, if that is what it is. So, before anything drastic starts up, I guess I’d better investigate on my own, what do you all think?

As to a “revolution”, I’m afraid that THAT is exactly what Mr. Obama wants. He seems to be trying to flush the country down the toilet (so he can implement the Elite’s New World Order) and what better way to do that than revolt?

It is no wonder we have no confidence in our government. They should have term limits but they voted it down. Look at the few congressmen who had the guts to vote for it. In every state, we should put term limits on our representatives and by-pass congress. Also we should make the President’s term 6 years instead of the 4 and he or she could not run again. Look at how much money is absolutely wasted on this election. Also I would just love to know how much it has cost the taxpayer to print out Obama’s new budget which we all know was a joke from the beginning. I think our constitution is more important today than it has ever been.
