Both Tea Party favorite Allen West and moderate Republican Tom Rooney are noticeable by their inaction on the findings of Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s definitive six month long investigation into possible “fraud and forgery” of key Obama documents.
When asked if they were worried about a man having control of America’s nuclear arsenal when his social security number was not passing an E verify check, press talkers of both sitting U.S. House of Representative members either said nothing or said this isn’t as important as putting Americans back to work or doing something about high gas prices. Besides, as Allen West’s person said, “There’s not enough time for Congress to do something (hold hearings).”
The two retired Army veterans now serving in Congress are taking no action on the refusal of Congress to investigate the problems surrounding Barack Obama’s eligibility to serve as America’s President, even though they swore to oaths to protect her Constitution, first and foremost. Rooney is uprooting his family from Tequesta, Florida, and relocating to Charlotte County so he can run for the newly drawn 17th House District.
A Captain in the Army who taught constitutional law at West Point Military Academy, Rooney, of the Steelers’ Rooneys, served a six year stint as Army JAG officer. As a spirited version of the patriotic song “Yankee Doodle Dandy” played, Rooney’s press spokesman Michael Mahaffey (1-877-762-8762) had no reply when asked if his boss was going to challenge congressional inaction of investigating Obama’s possible “fraud and forgery” issues around not only the Obama Birth Certificate, but Obama’s selective service registration documents, an item that should spark some interest in an Army JAG officer.
Mahaffey never called back to clarify the irony of his boss taking the Military Oath to first and foremost protect America’s Constitution, but as a former military Constitutional law professor and Army JAG, Rooney is doing nothing about Obama’s eligibility issues!
Now-retired Lieutenant Colonel Allen West’s spokesman certainly was more talkative. He said West is more concerned about “gas prices and getting Americans back to work,” than the failure of Congress to investigate Obama’s eligibility problem. On and on, the young man talked while never once mentioning the Military Oath that states, “I will support and defend the Constitution of the U.S. against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 clearly states: “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”
West is moving up to Florida’s Treasure Coast to run in Rooney’s old district, the 18th, and has an estimated $5.85 million war chest to fund his campaign. He survived a brutal contest in the Democrat controlled Gore triangle battleground area of DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, so this race probably will not resemble the hot war he fought in Iraq again.
Incumbent Rooney is moving into central Florida’s heavily agricultural district, fraught with Everglades issues, poverty, and fishing villages around Lake Okeechobee where many veterans and their families reside. I wonder how each of these men will explain to their new constituents the irony of swearing to the Military Oath but not upholding it when their political futures depend on their silence and inaction.

Come on Col. West, be part of the solution! And Douglasdauntless, I am offended by your comment. Col West is a brave and honorable man, he has served and fought for the American people, under our constitution. While I am frustrated by the lack of pursuit of the obama fraud issue by ALL members of Congress, it does not help our cause for anyone to make crass and ugly comments such as yours.
I didn’t retire, but I also am a veteran who deployed to Iraq twice and can tell you that there is absolutely no way I could possibly be silent about this issue. Both West and I have lost friends in the Middle East fulfilling their Oaths of Office to support and defend the Constitution, there is no way in this world I could disgrace their sacrifices by ignoring Obama’s ineligibility and fraudulent documents. Furthermore, this man is allowing a possible foreign usurper to command his brothers and sisters in arms, there is nothing but disgraceful. Allen West, with all of his tough talk, is no different than the rest of them. He is a coward and is partaking in treason. I was so excited when this guy was elected, I thought he would be the one who would attack this issue. But, as we’ve seen the guy has become part of the good ‘ol boys club. With all of West’s tough talk, he’s no different from any of the other traitors in Congress. He has been a massive disappointment, to say the least.

West and Rooney are only examples of what isn’t being done by the other members of the House of Representatives. To both West and Rooney, you took the oath of office twice, once when entering the military and again when assuming a Congressional seat. I am an Army veteran, honorably discharged, took the same oath and will never violate my oath. Both of these men have sold out their country and brought shame to the military by abandoning their oath. The greatest crime in American history has been perpetrated upon the American people and these two choose to ignore it with talking points. West is more concerned with gas prices and getting Americans back to work, really? So forgery of a selective service registration is not a problem, though it’s a class one felony, 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Both men bring dishonor to the military by supporting a fraudulent CNC and refusing to address the greatest threat to our nation in it’s history. Did they not have to prove their citizenship when entering the military, like a valid birth certificate but they give a foreign plant a total pass. I have donated to West in the past, not another cent from me to these traitors. Despicable acts of cowardice by both with their nation going down in flames thanks to the Kenyan fraud, who hates the military. Sheriff Arpaio has more patriotism and guts than these two could ever have. He at least has upheld his oath of office against attacks form a Communist run government!
I trust Col. West implicitly. If he feels there isn’t enough time to try this case, I believe him! He has earned the respect of every American, he is battle tested, I accept his explanation. Time will catch up with Obama, he will face the penalties of his treason! American might snooze for awhile but they will wake in time to stop him!
Tom Ballantyne to Allen West: Fire Obama or YOU’RE complicit! Worse than that, by remaining silent, YOU are betraying your own oath of office. So, Sir, you’re a “war hero”? Well, apparently you aren’t to keen on the expression that “You’re only as good as your last game!” This one’s still going on (if it doesn’t end before the Republic is destroyed fully), and you are refusing to even step out of the dugout…all the while issuing threats to Eric Holder for his “complicity.” Time to man up, Colonel. This is WAR, and you are missing in action. You are also apparently unfamiliar with the adage that “Talk is cheap!” Looks like you now have two strikes against you…and you haven’t even come to the plate!

Unless there is some change in the government to demand removal of all corrupt politicians, there will be no sense of trust. With no sense of trust, there will be no honesty, and without honesty, this country is doomed. Obama is only the glaring spotlight, not the cause. We, the people will have no choice but to take back our government, but we will have to have some Constitutional amendments to set, such as:
1. An amendment to remove insulation from legislatures making laws with which they do not have to comply. If they are Americans, they must live within the rules of the law.
2. An amendment that declares that the only thing the government is allowed to govern are police, military, and commerce freedom issues, not grants or programs that benefit only a select group for the purpose of getting votes.
3. An amendment that forbids payment by the government to any foreign entity. Private companies do that as a business practice, not the government. The government should have its interest in the security and welfare of the USA, not other countries.
4. An amendment that sets payment of government salaries to be based on the economic growth of the country. The people don’t prosper, then neither should the legislators, and they should take a pay cut when there is a recession and a pay loss when there is an all-out collapse.
And those are mere examples.
Instead of trying to pick at the individual pellets of buckshot scattered by Obama’s Communist Agenda, Col West should be helping to wrest the shotgun out of that poser’s hands.
