BREAKING NEWS – NEWSFLASH!
I just got word that NO ONE, Iran, Syria, Egypt, or anyone else, will destroy Israel. Think I’m completely nuts? Keep reading as it gets better: God told me so.
In light of all the troubles in the world and all the negative reporting (I, myself, am guilty of this too) I sometimes try to distance myself from political things (which doesn’t work for long). Then I try to be more active, and back and forth. Life is sometimes a roller-coaster, trying to balance being responsible and informed with life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Anyways, I am an unapologetic Christian believer. And with Jesus as my Lord and Savior, when I am lost in myself, my cure is to get lost in His Word. – i.e. spend some time in prayer and reading my Bible.
Well, I’ll get to the point – God knows exactly what is going on, and He told us exactly what is going to happen.
I was reading in the Gospels to get a perspective of “WWJD” (it is more than a bracelet you know… It’s a VERB!), and I came to Matthew Chapter 24 and God just blew my mind.
First, let’s read it together: Matthew 24: 2-36

It is easy to compare current events to the text in the scripture. If you can’t readily see it, then please tell me what rock you live under.
It is clearly evident that the end times are a coming, although they may not even happen this century. But WHEN is not important. It is HOW you live in the time that was granted to you that matters – which brings me to what is comforting in this passage.
In verse 34 (the one that all the Atheists and other unbelievers like to quote to show that Jesus himself was a false prophet), because the world did not end during the Apostles’ lifetime, Jesus said: “this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.” The Greek word used was “γενεά” (or genea), translated 34 times by King James as “generation” (but that is not what it meant. It means “lineage”. You can look it up in any dictionary prior to 1900 and find that definition.)
Two verses later, Jesus said “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” If He, as the Son, did not know the hour or the day, then how did He know that the people listening would not die until it came to pass? He didn’t – He just said he didn’t; what is wrong here is our translation. He said “Your lineage… will not die.” WOW – what a difference that makes. It was a promise God was making with his Children (i.e. I will not allow you to perish until I return to save you.) Get it?! No one is going to be able to nuke Israel off the map. God won’t allow it. That’s not an allegory or an emotional statement – Jesus said it. He just got finished describing in vivid detail how disastrous the end times are going to be – and then gave a promise.
This promise is one we can all comfort in. This world will not end on its own. We can do a lot of damage to each other, but we will not be able to destroy the planet. We did not create it, and we do not have the authority to destroy it. God may allow us to take it to the brink – but he will give the final blow – and I won’t be here to see it. I am leaving in verse 31, at the trumpet call with the “elect, in the four winds.”
If you don’t want be here either and don’t know how to be saved – message me; I’ll walk you through it. You can also just visit Romans 10:9. Or just ask someone – anyone; don’t try and find someone who “looks spiritual” as there are no stereotypes. From the church parking lot to the local skate park or even – GASP-a local bar, you’re still guaranteed one of three great reactions:
1) They don’t know and don’t want to know. You have planted a seed; God will water it through someone else. You’re better than half the people in church already.
2) They don’t know but are intrigued and willing to find out – BOOM – a BOGO on salvation.
3) They do know and have been meaning to talk to you for awhile. Congratulations; you de-shelled a Christian, and they will thank you for it later.
Remember, when the end times talk is getting you down and the news is nothing but bad, be comforted:
“Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong;
for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away.
Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this.” – Psalms 37:1-5

The problem is NOT with Israel, proper, but the Zionists who helped HITLER scare Jews in Europe to “migrate” to that area of the middle east so they could STEAL it from the folks already living there. Iran wants to get rid of those who STOLE the land and return it to those who were there for CENTURIES!
So, they want to eliminate Israel as a country, yes. It’s a tough distinction to make and thus the problem in understanding it all.
As a Christian Believer I can see the signs of the times every one can see ALL these things happening but IF they are NOT saved / ready then it means nothing to them, Lift up your head /eyes your Redemption draws Near.
The land mass created by the UN that is currently titled “Israel” is not the lineage of “Israel” that is described in the “scriptures”. Hebrew scholars have described the society that currently calls itself “Jews”. The fraternity of zionists that have abused the society of folk that call themselves “Jew” are a fraternity of criminals. These criminals have surfed since about 1948 on the crest of the wave of world sympathy, created by the Holocaust of WWII. The Holocaust was terrible. WWII was much worse and involved more than people who called themselves “Jew”. The totality, of the fraternity of zionists, who have abused the society that calls itself “Jew”, have been the tail that has wagged the Western World dog too long. It must stop.
When the power of GOD tore the veil to the inner temple in two, the original contract was voided. Whether the society of people who call themselves “Jew” like it or not, GOD VOIDED THE CONTRACT WITH ISRAEL. One may thus conclude that GOD does not take orders from either “zionists” or “Jews”.
The talk about “blowing Israel off the map” has been talk for many years. It remains talk, that zionists use to rationalize their years of aggression. The leaders of Iran talk, while the leaders of “Israel” aggress.
As far as “Israel” being nuked off the face of the earth, it is more likely to occur from the two hundred and fifty nukes in the israeli arsenal than from outside of Israel.
Even if the UN-established-territory of Israel were to be dissolved, the lineage of “Israel” would remain. That is, as long as GOD wants it to remain. Obviously, “Jews” and “zionists” have no say in the issue. They have a say in how they manipulate and screw-over the Western World with their egocentricity, as long as leaders of the Western World permit it.
You are wrong. When Jesus died and the veil was torn, it meant that gentiles were welcomed into the fold as God’s chosen people. Now we have Christians and Jews. God never intended to forget about His people. After all, the Jews gave us Jesus. Your ideology is based on old teachings of what is called “replacement theology”. It is this theology that was taught in the Catholic churches in Europe for a thousand years and is responsible for the attitude of hatred of the Jews. The bible is very clear about Israel. We are blessed when we bless her and we are cursed when we do any harm. There is a book called “Eye for an Eye” that pulls together a ton of evidence as to what I am saying.
Then Jesus lied in Matthew 21: 33-46 because Jesus said that the Kingdom would be taken from the Jews and given to another nation which would bear the fruits thereof. That nation is the Chuch, which consists of Jew and Gentile.
What you don’t get is that Israel is not the land mass over in the Middle East. When the Bible speaks of Israel, it is speaking specifically of the people of God. The ethnic tribe called “Jews” used to have that designation all to themselves, but they gave it up when they killed their Messiah.
The “Israel of God” (Gal. 6:16) is the Church. And Jesus taught that the Jews would be replaced. Debate it with Him when you see Him.
While I am not a Bible scholar I do know this. God said that the Jewish people were His very own people. He was born into the Jewish lineage. That cannot be changed. No matter how hard men try, it’s written in stone. Being as God called the Jewish people His and since He hasn’t issued a rebuttal to that position, I may remain assured that nothing has changed between God and Israel. The fact that the veil was torn from top to bottom was to indicate that the High Priest was now no longer the only person who could go directly to God. The veil was torn from top to bottom rendering it useless. The world is constantly marveling over how the Jewish people prosper. Why ? God said he would bless them. If you have an issue with the Jewish people doing well in most facets of life don’t get mad at the Jews, get mad at God. I also find it reprehensible that anyone would suggest that the Jewish people are “screwing over the western world.” When God gave Israel their birth right in land, it spanned all the way to the Euphrates River in Irag and virtually the same distance in 4 directions. Now they’re down in land mass equivalent to the state of New Jersey. Now who is it you say is getting screwed ? I don’t know who is teaching this song and dance to you but you’d do yourself well to be asking God questions and not putting words into His mouth so to speak. Jesus was a Jew…that settles it for me. It’s God’s job to chastise His children and not the job for men. I have enough to occupy my time without being concerned about the Jewish people being blessed. God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth and I’m pretty sure He wants us to use them both in that proportion. I am at a place in my life where I allow God to talk and I listen. You can’t learn when you’re talking. The words SILENT and LISTEN both have the same letters !
I agree, I am just glad & Happy that GOD through Jesus included the Gentiles into his plan of salvation.
The land promise given to the Jews was conditional upon their keeping the Old Covenant. With the end of the Old Covenant, that promise also dies, and is replaced by the New Covenant, with its better promises.
“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” (Romans 11:12) God’s calling of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their seed (Genesis 15; 28) is “without repentance,” God will not change His mind. Due to Israel’s disobedience and unbelief they have been cast off for a season (Acts 13:44-52) when they must pay double for their sin (Isaiah 40:1-2), after which they will return to their God and His Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), as prophecied (Romans 11). The “times of the Gentiles” (Luke 21) will come to an end and the “times of restitution of all things” (Acts 3) will return Israel to the prominent place among the nations of the world that Yahweh desires. The age of grace ends, the iron rod rule of the Messiah takes us into his (1000 year) millenial reign. “At that time shall Michael (the archangel) stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people…” (Daniel 12) Today’s Christianity has failed, Jesus’ gospel diminished. Israel is backed by God and His archangel, no puny nuclear bomb will prevent the inevitable, but first the great tribulation, “such as was not since the beginning of the world…” (Matthew 24)
Matthew 24 already took place. No such thing as the “Rpature of the Church.” The next event is the Manifestation of Christ, aka The Return of Christ.

Don’t understand why anyone can’t figure it out! God gave his protection to Israel and no one has been able to destroy it and they will NOT be able to! God said it; I believe it and that’s all there is to it!

Matthew 24 is about the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 by the Roman armies of Titus.
Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Do you understand what the meaning of “this” is? It was the generation of Jews who were living at the time that Christ spoke those words. And all that He prophesied regarding the destruction of Jerusalem did come to pass, including the destruction of the Temple (vs 1-3). Jesus said “this generation” — not a generation living 2000 years from now.
The word for “world” in Matthew 24 is “aion” and it does not mean the terene ball upon which mankind lives. It is properly translated as “age” and it has reference to the Jewish Age, aka THE OLD COVENANT. The Jews were given 40 years to repent as a nation. They did not, and the destruction of Jerusalem was the official end of the Old Covenant.
And you can keep believing in “the Rapture” also. Ain’t gonna happen. You need to find a better understanding of the Bible than the Fundamentlist nonsense that someone is feeding you.
