Iran is planning to retaliate against the United States for the sabotage against its nuclear program, according to an editorial in the Kayhan newspaper, the mouthpiece of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The U.S. has all of its infrastructure connected to the Internet, the editorial says, and as a result, “it is constantly worried about an unknown player, who they will never be able to identify … sitting in some corner of the world who would launch an attack on a sector of (the Americans’) foundations. They will be taught the mother of all lessons.”
Specifically, Iran is looking into launching a cyber attack against U.S. electrical grid systems.
Iranian officials are furious over the July 23 assassination of nuclear scientist Dariush Rezai-Nejad, who was working on electric detonators for the Iranian nuclear program, which can be used on missiles or nuclear bombs. He was the third Iranian nuclear scientist assassinated since 2009.
The frustration over acts of sabotage started with the computer virus Stuxnet in which 1,000 of Iran’s centrifuges at the Natanzs nuclear facility were destroyed and had to be replaced. The virus also attacked the Bushehr nuclear power plant, which has resulted in repeated delays in it joining the country’s power grid.

Iran threat ot teach America a lesson using a cyber attack has to be taken seriously. They will, no doubt, make an effort to destroy our electrical infrastructure and it behooves us to be prepared for any kind of attack that hey may decide on. They could also be preparing to launch an EMP attack on us which would accomplish the same thing.
We have let this festering sore in the Mid East go on too long. We should have taken out their means to launch any kind of attack long ago. I hope the present administration has the backbone to take whatever action is necessary to protect our vital interests.

His statement that he wanted to see the separate grids across the nation be replaced by one grid should put fear into the hearts of anyone who keeps up with what is happening and being threatened in this news. I personally take threat seriously. If they have devised plans to attack the United States, and with all we know about Iran, I would not negoitate at all, I would just go in and take care of the threats, once and for all. I am tired of their sharads, and all their behind the scene's involvment against america, while we just sit back and let them. The only reason for america not to respond is, Obama don't want to look like the bad guy to all his muslim friends.

China is the source of almost all the cyber attack against U.S. Then take into consideration that Russia/China and Iran are still trading partners even though there is a useless UN resolution about that. No Iran does not and will not have the capability of cyber attacks on their own, they would receive help. The only concern I see is when some of there trading partners give them the missile that is intercontinental capable. Then we should start to worry. They are ready have the stuff they need to make the big boom it just needs a delivery system. By the way when have you heard anything from Barry Obama about Iran lately? The answer is a long time, he has taken his focus off of Iran and is letting them become dangerous.
