I’m American: First, Last, And Always!

(NOTE: Please refer folks to this blog-post when people confuse talking about race as a conservative American Black with leftist race-baiting.)

I’m an American.

Here’s what I look like:

Nadra Enzi Im American: First, Last, And Always!

Obviously, I’m Black- so what?!

The content of my character is who I am, not color.

I was born here.

I love it here. My work is to take this love and bring my peers out (to borrow Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson’s book title) “from rage to responsibility.”

“Blacklash”, Deneen Borelli’s book, warns of ridicule awaiting Americans like us from the Left.

My advice to all conservatives facing socialist scorn is two-fold:

“Go West!” (to quote Congressman Allen West’s campaign slogan and reminder of what we’re preserving.)

And:

” Run harder! ” (which is the advice “Runaway Slave” movie director Rev. C. L. Bryant gives listeners.

Lastly, my American sisters and brothers come in all colors.

Our common humanity and love of American traditional values bind us inseparably.

Fellow conservatives: when I discuss race, rest assured I’m not being divisive. I’m offering perspectives from a community “zip code” suffering under a pigmentary politburo.

Love of country means speaking up when caution counsels silence.

I am American: first, last, and always.

  1. I read this snippet with interest, and wonder why there is only one American (black) who does not add the unnecessary AFRICAN word in front of the word American… I have always felt that it is unnecessary and boarders close onto insanity. why I say this is because I come from Africa – and 99.9% of Americans (both black and white) always say ; “But, how can that be you are white!!!!!” when I introduce myself – If one wanted to be politically correct and insist on a label I would have to call myself a white/
German/Scottish/French/ British/ South African…. there I have labelled myself. Now I am an American – I have a pavement pedigree – I do not care and thats that. The black American took it upon themselves to label themselves Black.. God alone knows why – because the very word causes one to be seperate yourself from the LAND OF YOUR BIRTH.

  2. This is a man who knows who he is. I like Alan West as well. I will vote for him and Rick Santorum, which ever is President and Vice President. Also, if it matters, I am white. We need like minds to bind together during these times for we are all Americans, it is just that some people want to make excuses so they can live like hedonists and destroy this nation our forefathers fought and died for.

  3. Capblack is a good man; a good American. He knows the real America offers God-given freedoms/liberties to all Americans as protected under the God-given U.S. Constitution. He hasn’t believed all the slander and lies about our Fournding Fathers — that they are rich, racist, white men who only cared about themselves. This is an outright lie. Our Founding Fathers placed their lives, fortunes and reputations on the line to win freedom in the Revolutionary War. And because they NEVER forgot God they won the Revolution against great odds. Most of them lost everything they had. Thomas Jefferson died in bandruptcy. But, today, the reason why we are losing is because we don’t have God behind us, because we have forgot HIm.

  4. “United we stand, divided we fall.” There are a number of good to great American conservatives out there who are also black. The problem as I see it is that you all are functioning as a bunch of lone wolves. Is it time to form some kind of convention or organization where you can come together en masse? Singly, each of you are easily dismissed by the Sharptons, the midstream press and the NAACP’s of this country. Together perhaps you could make some noise that would have to heeded. Jesse Lee Peterson, Larry Elder, E.T. Williams, Walter E. Williams, Allen West, Tim Scott, Herman Cain, Lynn Swan, Star Parker, Jannique Stewart, Ken Hamblin, and of course, Thomas Sowell, with many more I’m not mentioning. Make a united noise that cannot be ignored. Proselytize the blacks on the Democrat plantations. Get the word out together that there is a better way. God bless you all.

  5. I’m with you Cap Black, even though I’m an old white man like John McCain (that was the racist remark on MSNBC). Really, like you said–I am an American first. Glad to have you as an American brother.

  6. Thank you and all other Americans of various coloration, and especially without an additional adjective. My husband is a legal citizen who escaped nazism and communism and he does not say I am a German-American, but just American. You owe allegiance to only one country, otherwise who and what are you?
