Exactly two years ago this week, the Obama administration announced it had issued more than 100 waivers en masse to a select group of companies, unions and other health insurance providers seeking relief from the onerous federal health care law. The Obamacare waiver winner’s club now totals 2,000. Where are they now?
Answer: In the same miserable boat as every other unlucky business struggling with the crushing costs and burdens of the mandate.
Among the first and most prominent recipients of the Obamacare waivers for favors were large restaurant chains that provide low-wage, seasonal and part-time workers with low-cost health insurance plans called “mini-med” plans. An estimated 1.7 million workers benefit from such plans. Obamacare forced companies carrying such coverage to raise their minimum limits on coverage to no less than $750,000 annually. Another Obamacare provision forces all employers to spend at least 80 percent to 85 percent of their premium revenue on medical care.
The social justice Democrats’ goal was to dictate insurance provider spending not just on coverage amounts, but also on executive salaries, marketing and other costs. The regulation punished companies with mini-med plans whose high administrative costs were due to frequent worker turnover and relatively low spending on claims — not “greed.” Complying with the provision would have meant tens of thousands of low-income workers would lose their benefits altogether.
Darden Restaurants, the Florida-based parent company of Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Red Lobster and other chains, was a member of the Obamacare waiver early bird special. Their get-out-of-Obamacare card helped spare the company’s health insurance benefits for nearly 34,000 employees. Breathing a sigh of relief that it would allow chains to continue offering all employees access to affordable health insurance, Darden said in a statement in the fall of 2010 that “the waiver allows us to continue to do that as the various phases of the health care law are implemented.”

We left out of the states two days before the election, then came back about three days after the elections were over learning while we were traveling out that oboma had won. As we prepared to come back home, I was asking our party how they might feel going home to almost a new country. I also talked to several people who claimed to be small business owners and all of them said they had to go back home and let people go because the insurance was going to be higher per employee. One guy said he already had his notice that the new fee, tax, charge, whatever they are calling it was going to cost him an additional $200.00 per person he only had six people working for him and it was not likely to make up the difference by raising prices. Several articles were posted about back-door deals with companies if they would hold off the firing of employees until after the elections. And as we have seen the massive lay-offs ocurring, oboma agreed with some of these companies who had to give so many days notice of termination or face paying out to fired employees, oboma promised them if they hold off until after the election he would make it up to them. Now visible signs of homeland security preparing strategic placement of military equipment allowing him to inact or enforce martial law having signed the NDAA as a pre-lude for direct and forceful civil control whille they kick in the doors and try to begin disarming us citizens.
This Prince of Darkness has lied, stole, cheated and crushed what is left of America, all for his agenda; to get even with America for being the most powerful country in the world. One solution is simple, but to implement is difficult…that is to get rid of The Federal Reserve (Rothschild).
I wonder if there is a possibility to simply not adopt the policy by the state. It has been written that individuals who do not have coverage will be fined, taxed, however they term the theft, that the IRS will take the funds out of the tax returns. I would believe if individuals could afford existing coverage now they would have it. So if the individual cannot pay for the individual coverage, how will they pay the fine? How can the Gov. in general force an executive order, which to my understanding they (Congressmen, Legislators etc.) are exempt from including oboma. I do not know the validity of the physical health form you have to fill out and send in with your taxes, I have seen versions of it, which have all been the same. Isn’t there a law that guarantees the right to patient doctor communications? I know there are federal laws protecting drug and alcohol treatment that it takes a federal subpoena to access the records. With all the government official with alcohol and substance abuse issues now, wonder they would make it a federal law. Yet the common citizen has to disclose and violate patient doctor confidentiality. Is this how they will begin to determine who will receive real help and those “that it’s better to give the pain meds and let them go.” I would seriously consider just throwing the attorney general out of office, through incompetency and putting a person like the Arizona Sheriff Joe, in his place and let him enforce the laws, get rid of the current Supreme court judges and get some new blood in there not people who makes deals with a corrupt and treasonous administration. If I have some zealous priest come after me with a cane because I have long hair and that offensive to their child molesting god, I view the cane as a direct threat upon my life and well-being and will use what force is reasonable and necessary to stop the attack. I have seen them do this in Iraq and it is those laws that are creeping into our system of justice. No priest has the right to judge me or punish me anyone, just because they are a priest in a violent provoking belief system. I would like to see the number of illegal aliens receiving government benefits. I bet if you cut them out it would cut billions of wasteful spending. We as a country need to re-assemble a new government and hold accountable the lying cheating treasonous bastards we have now.
