Those who think socialized medicine is just an “all good” program that keeps you healthy while somebody else pays your medical bills ought to think again. Socialized medicine takes whatever you have, whatever it can get from you. If you have financial means, it will take your money and your rights. If you have no money, socialized medicine will take your rights – even your religious rights.
Recently, a German court, no doubt encouraged by the European system of socialized medicine, ruled that circumcision, even for (especially for?) religious reasons amounts to a bodily assault. In doing so, the Cologne regional court, a creation of man supported by a secular system hostile to religion, cast aside five thousand years of Jewish tradition and practice.
The system that spawned that type of thinking is now here in America. It is found in the 2000 page monstrosity called Obamacare. Using Obamacare as their weapon, Barack Obama and his socialist thugs in Washington are, this very day, preparing to trample on America’s tradition of religious rights. They are gearing up to force Christians, especially Catholics, to pay for abortions for their workers. Regardless of what the calendar says, in terms of religious freedom, we are entering into Nazi Germany of the 1930s.
So far, America’s secular Jews have not seen fit to join in this fight. “When they came for them, I didn’t fight because I wasn’t one of them…. and finally, when they came for me, there was no one left to fight for me” comes to mind.
The German court’s explanation that“The religious freedom of the parents and their right to educate their child would not be unacceptably compromised, if they were obliged to wait until the child could himself decide to be circumcised,” is the kind of cynical secular attack on religion we can expect from Barack Obama in the months to come.
While the court equivocated as to the guilt or innocence of the doctor who performed the operation on the boy, who happens to be Muslim, it made itself very clear about its opposition to parents’ rights to decide what is best for their children.
“The body of the child is irreparably and permanently changed by a circumcision. This change contravenes the interests of the child to decide later on his religious beliefs,” it said. In other words, “This gives the religious world an edge on the secular world, and we don’t like that.”
Trampling on religious freedoms based on a secular government’s disapproval of a religious practice is exactly where Obamacare will bring us. Any religion he doesn’t approve of will be fair game.
When Catholics are forced to pay for abortions, can the day Jews will not be allowed to circumcise their baby boys be far behind? This is a real and present danger. Vote conservative.

I did read about that not long ago. None of the congress members or those in the administration has read it except a handful of them that are doctors.. What I found interesting was there wasn’t a doctor amongst them that was allowed any input into this bill. I guess I just assumed that doctors, insurance companies and drug companies would have helped to construct this bill.
Never assume anything, this bill was crafted by lawyer politicians for the express purpose of robbing us and giving them control of 20% of the economy, there was a lot of money to be made for them and their cronies and this is all this health care bill is about. If you really believe the government is here to help, then you are a naive fool. I have relatives in Europe. Two cousins had bad reactions to anesthesia. One woman died, and the man, a former college professor, has symptoms of dementia. Another cousin who had been getting treated in the USA for diabetes, was taken off that medication when she returned to Europe, and she died. Her doctor here said she could have lived many more years.
A female relative here was asked her age, before a scan was approved. It is coming.
When a medical system is run by actuaries, and not doctors, money is the bottom line.
When medicine is about patients and doctors and not about insurance companies, lawyers, actuaries and pharmaceutical companies the care will get much better….Now insert the government in it and what you end up with is rationed health care with the only aim at maximizing financial return for the Insurance companies and minimizing costs…oh your too old to be on Dialysis …it cost to much to preserve your life the money could be much better spent on helping someone who is younger and can pay the taxes and fees ..If your old that means you are a drain on the system and need to be euthanized…but they won’t call it that…it will be allowing you to die with dignity and providing you counseling services for that
That is already happening. I have a friend who was refused a pacemaker because she was too old. The senior citizens are the ones who will pay the highest for this health care program.
Obamacare was prepared by the Apollo Alliance, an organization funded by George Soros. It was ready and waiting for Obama to get into the Oval Office. Obama insisted the package of papers be signed ASAP. The Senate Democrats signed it. No Republicans signed it.

Things will not change until Obama’s “Willing Victims” realize that they are not going to get everything they think they are going to get. I heard a lady in the waiting room at the Doctors office say “I’m going to get free healthcare for the first time”. I told her not to be happy about it; what you will get is 30 million more people entitled to the same free healthcare, 45% or more fewer doctors because they will not stay in medical practice. In short you will get less than you are getting now and you will wait a lot longer to get it. Not a good thing.

“Don’t just stand there! Do something!” That is what happens when there is socialized medicine. However, that doesn’t mean “do something” for the patient. That means the administrators of the program must do something to justify their existance or they are “not contributing” to the health of the people. The regulations stifle good patient care! It would be far better for the patients if the administrators just stood there and did nothing! Everytime they act, the patient loses some promised benefit, loses financial coverage, or finds that the necessary service is not authorized by some unknown administrator who has no medical degree or experience kin patient care, but has lots of authority. Arrogance thrives in such burocratic programs. That is why more and more quietly doctors are leaving medicine. They are not free to treat the patients as they were taught to do, but they are still liable if something goes wrong! More will leave, and fewer will enter medical school. The program known as Obamacare will become a nightmare! Count on it!
There are provisions in Obamacare for free medical school education for the disadvantaged. In addition, bonuses are paid to medical personnel who practice in disadvantaged areas. Those bonuses are funded from the reduced bonuses paid to personnel who do not practice in disadvantaged areas. Much of Obamacare is affirmative action.
In addition, there are many taxes on almost every aspect of our lives. The Civilian National Security Corps is funded by Obamacare.
I “O” can “by pass” those laws he doesn’t feel like obeying, we can do the same. Keep your powder dry.
Watch Out for Homosexuality – This is two people assaulting each other. I don’t know why people don’t see or say this. It destroys true friendship. Keep the real definitions of words before they change them. They’re using homosexuality to promote their agenda. Too many fall for it. Even some devoutly religious. First to go is Obumacare!

Hmm, like Sweden, the German “state” knows where you can put your parental rights! And don’t you forget it. If the government derives it right to govern from the CONSENT of the governed, we & they now have a major disconnect. On the personal side of this, I was “clipped” in the hospital in which I was born, and no one asked me if I wanted to be circumcised. I would have preferred to make that decision when I was old enough to understand what it was about. God gave it to me, he also gave me fingers, but no one took any of those off. No one even asked if I wanted any of them off. Today, if a kid wants a tattoo or a piercing, etc., he/she must be 18, I would have preferred my parents let me make the decision myself, sometime in adolescence.
It is a health risk if you wait until you are grown. and very painful. You can get infections, etc. The discussion is socialism and you complain about your circumcision?

Everyone needs to read the Health Care Act. There are provisions in there (near the back) that place government run clinics in or near schools in order to provide medical attention and give mandatory vaccinations without parental consent. I’m betting Big Pharmaceutical companies had a hand in this part. Besides the controlled genocide they have planned for us, these vaccines contain poisons and addictive compounds that require more medications, down the road. They have written themselves lifetimes worth of guaranteed revenues. The Act also dictates when a person is too old to receive medical care. This piece of legislation was not available to Congress in a timely manner (you have to vote for it to see what’s in it – Nancy Pelosi) to scrutinize as a whole. If it was, it may not have become an Act.
