Mitt Romney brought it.
The preparation paid off. He had energy — and a command of the facts. If you were Joe Sixpack just tuning in for the first time, you would probably come away with the impression that Romney
knows what he’s talking about — and has the energy to actually accomplish his goals.
Romney, who has often been light on details, also took time to explain his conservative philosophy in a very reasonable and common sense (and more specific) manner. This, of course, can be done, though until Wednesday night Romney had shown little aptitude for it.
Conversely, President Obama looked put-upon to even be there. He couldn’t muster the energy to smile. His visage was frequently blank. He lacked energy.
Body language matters, and Obama — who can be incredibly charismatic, funny, and energetic — looked defeated, spending much of the night looking down at the podium.

Romney won the debate because Goldman Sachs wants to replace Obama with Romney. It was all just an act since both Obama and Romney work for the new world order. Obama played weak while Romney came out strong in order to deceive conservatives into believing that Romney is somehow better or different than Obama even though Romney approves of Obama’s Romneycare, NDAA, and abortion.
So, Cleo, what you’re saying is that a man who supports the Muslim Brotherhood with billions of our tax dollars is the same as a man who is a Mormon and has spoken against the terrorists instead of apologizing to them? You’re saying that Obama’s speech about his successful predator drone strikes, in which he killed two teenage U.S. citizens, is similar to something Mitt has talked about ever? You mean to say that Obama’s failed agendas with all the businesses equates to the total success rate Romney has proven in business? You also mean to say that Obama’s Iranian political and financial backers (Jarrett to name one) are the same as Romney making his own money? The ONE thing you said that might be right is that Goldman Sachs might have a hand in it. But Romney doesn’t want to keep the 21 new taxes hidden away in Obamacare and he is far from approving of abortion – especially the live-birth abortion Obama says is okay – you know, the one where the doctor is allowed to either neglect a newborn until it dies or he just murders it? That one.
That’s why I couldn’t even make myself watch it, just to fake and rehearsed! They’re both out of another world anyway! Obama is planning something disgusting I’m sure.
Cleo, what universe are you from? Did you not watch the debate tonight/ Romney has nothing in common with Obama. He came forward with his ideas with a lot of facts to put Obama down. Obama not weak, just lost without his prompter. Too many I I I, er er er, Well i Well i Well i, Could tell he was at a loss for words half the time. Go Mitt.
i agree jkwebbo,, obama wasnt faking it … he didnt have a chance… he didnt have any answers as to why everything he has done to america wasnt to help it was to hurt america.. what could he have said??? plus i hope Mitt will win and actually bring God back to america.. I believe that if america is to survive all this, the first thing we need is God and then a leader who truly believes in God… I believe that is the first step to help our country.. and then jobs, jobs, jobs… then take care of all the radical mustlims and illegals that are here.. obama seems to be on their side instead of americas’s side.. I pray that Mitt wins.. and it is obvious that he has the knowledge needed to do all this. where as obama seems to not have knowledge , but just a bunch of words and last night he didnt even have that .. he had no idea what he was talking about.. Mitt is definitely alot smarter than obama. I was so proud of Mitt..
Boy, what a bunch of negativity tonight ! I think Romney did an excellent job ! He was calm, cool and well spoken. He backed up his statements with facts. Obama looked after the first 30 minutes like he had been slapped. He tried to do his Obama trickery by restating what Romney had just said and was putting words in Mitt’s mouth, but Mitt caught him everytime ! Obama tried to say that the budget was screwed up long before he got into office and Mitt turned around and told him to his face that he (Obama) had raised the debt higher than all presidents before Obama. Obama stumbled and was nervous. He tried to sell the audience with his lies and Romney turned around and made him eat his words. I like that Mitt didn’t let Lehrer or Obama intimidate him and held his own when it came to having equal time to state his case. Mitt won this won hands down. “Mr. President you’re entitled, as president, to your own airplane and your own house, but not your own facts.” Tomorrow’s sound bite!!
to labchat, you spoke the truth,i couldn’t have done as good. obama looked like he didn’t want to be there and lost without his telepromptor. romney was quick and right to the core. one can imagine,how obama had to feel,on stage,being asked questions,he had to answer.also knowing he has failed our country in so many ways,our debt. lots of monies to foreign countries,his foreign policies have failed. with fast,furious and our ambassdor being killed,as no security ,when they had warnings.no wonder he kept looking down. knowing people seen 2007 tapes and rev.wright,had down low club,telling homo=sex men,okay to marry and still have guy.skeltons are coming out,always knew they would. mitt won this,should also with next two,if he does what he didi tonight. pl,orl,fla

Cleo they are light years apart. I wonder where you get off with the comments. Romney was one of the best govenors MA ever had. He cleaned up MA corruption, improved the schools and balanced the budget. You ought to see the mess Duval Patrick made of it since Romney left. All we hear about is all the scandals that are being revealed and all the ineptness.every where while the taxes go up under Patrick’s watch. Mitt is a most trustworthy and generous person who has phenomenal leadership skills and a sound and proven fiscal ability. Most of all he is dedicated to lead the American people to prosperity with out having an obligation to payoff any cronies.

Romney was great!!! OBummer looked like a total fool and sounded like a Mumbling Idiot. He just rambled on (boring) making NO sense. He was either making no sense or he was lying. Romney came across as a very decent guy with a sound plan of action.
I think he could be better than Reagan. And, with Ryan, the two would be a superb team.
