There are plenty of things wrong with America. None of them will get fixed as long we deal with the symptoms and ignore the problem. Do we really know what America’s problems are? Or are we just dealing with their symptoms? Alleviating the symptoms won’t fix the problems. We are the problem. The symptoms are our debt, our government, the rich, the poor, Republicans, Democrats, the politicians, and any other current complaint of why things aren’t the way they should be. If things aren’t the way they should be, it is up to “We the People” to fix the U.S.
To start fixing US, we must learn who we are. America is a country that was created to govern itself, a republic. To govern ourselves, our Founding Fathers wrote a binding legal document, our Constitution, to limit the power of our government. Our Constitution also, just as importantly, limits the power of the men and women we have temporarily chosen to be our government. The idea of being an elected official as someone’s career is an unintended consequence of the War Between the States (but that is the subject for another discussion.) Career politicians are one of the biggest symptoms of our problem. As John Madison said “All men having power ought to be distrusted to a certain degree.” The men he worked with were far more trustworthy than those currently in power.
America was a country where people built and planned for tomorrow, a country where the idea of saving money for a rainy day was important. America was a country where our elected officials were bound by our Constitution. The idea that it could be interpreted rather than amended was repugnant to our elected officials. They knew that their power was limited by our Constitution. When they ceased to be citizens first and politicians second, that is when they ceased to be bound by our Constitution.
We are the problem, and we are the solution. To start implementing the solution, we must stop voting for incumbents. We must demand that our elected officials start repealing laws. We must stop believing that the solution comes from bureaucrats in Washington. D.C. The mess we are in was not created in one election cycle, nor was it created by one presidential administration. It was created over the years as we slowly traded our freedom for government programs that promised to take care of us. America was a country built on self-reliance and individual courage. That is the solution, a return to being a country of self-reliant individuals. Do we have the courage to do that? I definitely hope that we do!

It is time for Washington DC to be CLEANED out, From the Office of the President to the Surpreme Court and both Houses of Congress. Term Limits for EVERYONE. We have allowed our Nation to become a Nation where NO LAWS are respected and the Crooks in the Government ignore We The People. No One without proof of the capability to serve in Government should be Allowed to run for any Office. Making deals to pass Legislation only leads to more crimes committed. America has become the Laughing Stock of the World and it is time that we the people stand up and stop this mad rush to destruction.
We all talk about grandiose ways of cleaning out Washington, but the truth is that we have been ungovernable for decades. The federal government was meant to be limited, but it is so large–and growing–that no one can even count all the dumb ways our tax dollars are thrown around, here and all over the world. Until there is a total breakdown of society, all we can do is talk and post. Those who feel the way we do are not organized so there is really nothing we can or will do. Even if the worst scenarios come true, like martial law where we are herded into FEMA camps and left to die, there is little we can do. Sure a few will fire their guns and take out a couple of enemies, but that won’t be enough. And if the muslims take over and we see a few neighbors beheaded, we’ll become muslims and submit to shariah law. Wish I felt more optimistic about the future of the country I love, but this is what I foresee unless there is a military coup by a patriotic general whose troops love our country and want to uphold our Constitution.

First of all, get rid of all Democrats in power in addition to barry, holder, pelosi and the rest of the gang. They shall forfet any pensions and retirements from the government. Once that is accomplished, take control of the Senate. Once we have control of the presidency as well as legislative branches, change the perks for all those in office. No longer will they be treated like royalty. It will be easier to kick them out of office for wrongdoings. They will not be above the law as they now are. They will have the same medical and dental care as those working in government. All laws and people put in office by obama will be investigated and those that are not in accordance with current laws and the constitution will be taken off the books. There will be limitations in the number of terms someone can be in office. The IRS will be investigated and a new tax rate should be established. The boarder will be strengthened and illegal aliens will be rounded up and sent back to their country of origination and all properties they have illegally obtained while here will be sold and money will be used to pay off the debt. A new amendment to the constitution regarding a balanced budget shall be established. Those legislators who protected the imposter in the white house shall be also impeached for treason since it was known obama was not qualified to be potus. This would be good for a start and would take a number of years to accomplished.
Congressional Seniority is the disease, term limits is the CURE. Anything else in the end will be suicide for USA.
Since Congress has to vote this IN IT will NOT happen unless incumbents are voted out of office. But the food stamp army just loves all the goodies and the D’s give more goodies/bribes all the time with the help of the RINOs so the gravy train rolls along. Programs NEVER go away they just get bigger every year. I will not hold my breath, at 66 and in bad health I need all the breaths I can find.
I firmly believe that we have already crossed the line of no return… But if the LORD should tarry a while longer, I would suggest that we start teaching the real history of this nation and the truth of our forefathers and their courage to build the greatest of all nation… followed up with the corruption and disgrace that our present day leaders have brought upon America.
57 men risked their lives and all their property by signing the Declaration of Independence, men with real courage, integrity and honor that presence day leaders in the Executive Branch, Judicial Branch and most of the Legislative Branch who couldn’t even scratch the surface of these attributes. Our unrighteous leaders, men and women are a real disgrace in every way, GREEDY, PRIDEFUL, LIARS, SWINDLERS, THIEVES, ADULTERERS and ADULTERESS who really think that they themselves are exempt from the laws of the land.
It may look as though these godless men and women are getting away with their disgraceful actions and abominations, but rest assured that they will bow before the Supreme Judge one day very soon and the consequences of their past actions will be laid upon them… A eternity with no quenching of their thirst and a gnashing of their teeth, forever and ever. And there joining them will be the vast majority of the media personal.
