The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee said Friday that President Obama’s half-uncle, an illegal immigrant who was picked up but has reportedly been released from jail, appears to have benefited from the new “backdoor amnesty” the administration announced last month.
“It appears there is a double standard — one for President Obama’s family and one for everyone else,” Rep. Lamar Smith, Texas Republican, said. “Last year, President Obama’s illegal immigrant aunt was granted asylum and now his illegal immigrant uncle has been released from [the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agency] custody, even though he was arrested by authorities for drunk driving.”
Mr. Smith said the case will be the first “test case” for a new Homeland Security policy announced last month that gives immigration authorities more discretion to let illegal immigrants go, rather than pursue efforts to deport them.
The Boston Globe reported Friday that Onyango Obama, the half-brother of the president’s father, was released from jail Thursday after being held for more than two weeks on an immigration detainer after he was arrested on a drunk-driving charge.
Asked about the case last week, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told reporters she couldn’t comment on a specific matter and didn’t know enough about the incident.

You are right. Congress should investigate. Congress is the problem. The People do not have access to evidence to prove or disprove Obama's constitutional eligibility. Investigation by public authority is required, Congress foremost among them. And Congress refuses to investigate.
Congressional RINOs like Issa and Smith, chairmen of House oversight and Judiciary, respectively, have refused to conduct exhaustive investigation of Obama, even though the People have given them that power. Hence they have failed to discover, as his original birth certificate and DNA would show, that Obama is not the son of a Negro father and a Caucasian mother. They fear being called racists, but if they had the guts to subpoena Obama's DNA and vital records, they would discover that Obama is not the half Negro he claims to be and they think he is. Why do they think that? Obama says so. Would he lie? Would he broadcast his amended birth certificate on 27 April 2011, crop out or blank out the word "AMENDED" and fraudulently pretend it's his real, original birth certificate showing his actual birth parents? Damn betcha he would, the pathological liar.
Why not subpoena Hawai'i's vital records of him, and his DNA just to be safe, and find out whose child Obama is, really. Other public authorities could also subpoena this evidence, and open the gates to a complete investigation and possible indictment for election fraud for stealing racial identity, claiming to be half Negro and campaigning on a racial basis. I've suggested this to Attorney General Cuccinelli and others. The states select presidential directors. Their AGs and legislatures should investigate Obama's theft of racial identity, current U.S. citizenship status, and actual allegiance. His oath of office was fraudulent, taken in bad faith and with intent directly contrary to what he said. It is highly doubtful that he was a citizen of the United States, and was therefore ineligible to take the oath.

The problem is with Congress, for they are doing nothing to prevent this criminal behavior. I think we should disregard all laws for everyone, and then we can be free to hunt down the illegal invaders and remove them all by force, or use them for fertilizing the desert plants.

The Department has a uniform administrative standard of evidence based on the premise that U.S. citizens intend to retain United States citizenship when they obtain naturalization in a foreign state, subscribe to a declaration of allegiance to a foreign state, serve in the armed forces of a foreign state not engaged in hostilities with the United States, or accept non-policy level employment with a foreign government.

Investigation is urgent. Democratic rank and file need to know the facts to decide whether to re-nominate Obama. Election officials need to know the facts to decide whether Obama's name should be on the ballot. Caucuses and primaries are hard upon us. Obama's Indonesian citizenship and its effect on his American citizenship will take a long time to investigate and analyze, especially as Obama has gone to extreme lengths to conceal his Indonesian citizenship.
Congress failed to investigate Obama in 2008, thereby committing a constitutional crime. It is now compounding that crime many times over by failing to cure the earlier offense.
Failure of Congress to investigate should be deemed an institutional crime, of which every member is guilty. Every member should be apprised that constituents will offer no support, financial or otherwise, and will vote for an opponent, if Congress fails to proceed forthwith to a thorough and good-faith investigation of Obama's identity, eligibility, probity, citizenship and true allegiance.
Constituents should advise members of Congress they will get no support, financial or otherwise, and votes will be cast for others, unless Congress investigates Obama forthwith, and impeaches and removes him if the facts warrant, as they almost certainly will. The People must force Congress to investigate, whether it takes demonstrations, a general strike, or mass lobbying of the halls of Congress. Obama is probably an enemy agent. Failure to expose him, for whatever he is, is unacceptable, and could lead sooner rather than later to the destruction of the Republic.

This is a key. People have been demanding investigation and Congress has been refusing, and lying to the People, commonly relying on a fraudulent memo from the Congressional Research Service. It's appalling that Congress is so corrupt.
