As 2010 draws to a close, do you remember hearing any good news from the mainstream media about climate? Like maybe a headline proclaiming “Record Low 2009 and 2010 Cyclonic Activity Reported: Global Warming Theorists Perplexed”? Or “NASA Studies Report Oceans Entering New Cooling Phase: Alarmists Fear Climate Science Budgets in Peril”? Or even anything bad that isn’t blamed on anthropogenic (man-made) global warming–of course other than what is attributed to George W. Bush? (Conveniently, the term “AGW” covers both.)
Remember all the media brouhaha about global warming causing hurricanes that commenced following the devastating U.S. 2004 season? Opportunities to capitalize on those disasters were certainly not lost on some U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change officials. A special press conference called by IPCC spokesman Kevin Trenberth announced “Experts warn global warming likely to continue spurring more outbreaks of intense activity.”
But there was a problem. Christopher Landsea, a top U.S. expert on the subject, repeatedly notified the IPCC that no research had been conducted to support that claim–not in the Atlantic basin, or in any other basin. After receiving no replies, he publicly resigned from all IPCC activities. And while the press conference received tumultuous global media coverage, Mother Nature didn’t pay much attention. Subsequent hurricane seasons returned to average patterns noted historically over the past 150 years, before exhibiting recent record lows with no 2010 U.S. landfalls.

And what about those pesky sun spots? Oh, but the sun doesn't warm us anyway so not having the cycle on a rise wouldn't cool the earth off any now would it? But then again if there's cash in it and a carbon exchange well then chill away cause there's gold in them there degrees anyhow up or down.

Now that we are headed to a mini ice age…how they gonna use that to tax? and take away our freedoms…We are being prepared for a total Police State with x-ray machines at Malls, Sporting events, any placve where many p[eople come…to prevent terrorism? NO to control people!! this is exactly what Hitler & Stalin did!!! They following the exact same devices!!! Why? They want slaves!!!

Jeez! I wonder who caused global warming around 900-1000 A.D. when the Vikings settled Greenland and Iceland and planted grapes for wine, wheat crops, and had sheep grazing on those lands?????? Greenland was appropriately named because of its lush GREEN lands that the Vikings coveted. Until the "Little Ice Age" hit around 1300-1400 A.D. and Greenland and Iceland froze over. I guess global warming caused the "Little Ice Age" for 500 years that also was the cause of the bubonic plague, many wars for land to grow crops on, etc., etc., etc., etc.
I wonder if they can explain how the old snow pack in the Cascade Mts. of Washington and Oregon has more than 25-30 feet of new snow pack on top of it. What causes massive amounts of snow pack? Answer: Colder than normal weather. Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Winner! But I guess global warming caused the colder than normal weather. Better yet, George W. Bush caused it.
I must admit, I saw Al's presentation and looked over his work and I was sold on it, well that is until I started asking a few experts who all said it was 100% total wrong, and that man's effects are at best minimal.
Then the lights went on when I did a little looking into who was behind Al, holy crap on a stick Bat Man lets talk about what a scam this whole thing really is. Wheres the MONEY going, Al stands to make Hundreds of Billions if Cap and Trade went into effect.
Why is it that all politicans Lie ~ Cheet ~ Rob ~ Rape ~ Pillage, and yet think thats 100% ok to act that way? And that you should give them your hard earned money, can you say Berrnie Madoff?????????

Hey, I just heard big Al underestimated this whole global warming thing and they found that
whenever the earth gets hotter it has gone beyond global warming and has even caused
other planets in our solar system to get warmer. To include our own sun!
On the cooler years we cause the rest of the solar system to cool down, but on the peak heat years
we've even caused increased sunspots and solar flare activity!
It's known in the new science circles as the "Strong" effect and the "Soros" factor which when extrapolated by the "Gore" equation all point to the need to impoverish select humans before they destroy the entire universe. That is wht there is no other intelligent life out there, none ever had Strong, Soros and Gore step up to save their universes. Orson Wells, eat your heart out. You've been bested by common criminals.

ENTRENCHED
[ trans. ] (often be entrenched) establish (an attitude, habit, or belief) so firmly that change is very difficult or unlikely.
This is a word that we must become familiar with because it involves the irrational thinking of so many liberals.
Let me explain.
It usually happens when a person first adopts a position on anything.
Once the position is established or a stand taken or adopted, anyone who takes an opposite viewpoint in a debate or argument will cause that person to defend his original position, almost at all cost. The more challenges, the deeper the entrenchment of the original concept.
Eventually, this establishes a filter in that persons mind and the only information that can get through is that which agrees with and confirms his original position.
We can become entrenched in any subject e.g. “politically entrenched.”
It seldom happens that an entrenched political ideology can be changed, because we are generally vain creatures and refuse to admit that our original position was wrong. Only a person with a truly open mind will continue to study the facts and then may eventually change his “entrenched” views.
