The hospital in Hawaii where Barack Obama claims he was born refuses to produce any documentation – or even confirm the claim – without permission of the president himself.
The Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu has posted on its website a letter on White House stationery dated Jan. 24 in which Obama wrote, “As a beneficiary of the excellence of Kapi’olani Medical Center – the place of my birth – I am pleased to add my voice to your chorus of supporters.”
Kristy Watanabe, the public relations specialist for the hospital refused to confirm or deny the veracity of Obama’s letter claiming he was born at the hospital.
“Our comment to everyone who has been calling is that federal law does not permit us to provide any more details concerning information [about Obama's birth] without authorization from Mr. Obama,” Watanabe told WND.
She said the hospital had not contacted Obama for authorization.When WND asked Watanabe why the hospital did not contact Obama to ask for authorization, especially given the number of phone calls the hospital was receiving with the request, Watanabe said: “This is our response, and we can’t say anything more than that.”

Soooo much corruption in the Obama dictatorship. It sickens me to even think that the half breed "oreo" would be an American, because a real American wouldn't act, lie, & deceive like he does daily. He is hiding the fact that he is NOT an American, He is a half breed African. There is no way he can prove that he is American born, even though his mother was an American, his father, (if he really was his father) , was an African. That fact has not as yet been proven either, without a REAL birth certificate
Of course, some people might argue that "a real American" wouldn't be a racist who is too dumb to realize he's responding to a post that's a year and a half old.
And by the way, the onus isn't on Obama to "prove" anything to you, particularly since he has done so to the satisfaction of Congress and the courts (as John Boehner said again this morning); it's on his opponents to prove he's not qualified. Good luck with that–I'll look for your answer in mid-2012.

Gee, since it took you 21 weeks to respond, I'd have thought you might have been able to come up with something thoughtful–or at least literate.
You're posts aren't making you look like the sharpest crayon in the box either, Mr. McPherson. A whole bunch of us would love nothing more than to discuss this issue with you further in November 2012.
Better yet, how about November 2016, when Obama won't be able to run again?
Obama was filmed on two separate occasions in early 2006 when he was campaigning for his run as Senator. During both campaign speeches he stated that a lot of people would probably be upset if they knew he had been born in Kenya and was running for a Senate seat, but he felt he could make a great contribution to this country, even if he wasn't born here. Apparently, the people he has paid to hide and/or seal all of his records missed a couple. I watched the two video tapes a couple of months ago, so they have probably been taken off the Web, never to be seen again. The birth certificate discussed by Combat Vet Korea '50 could very well be the true record of Obama's birth. His grandmother and several government officials in Kenya have all said Obama was born there. I also find it interesting that his grandmother on his mother's side, who lived in Hawaii and would have had all the information regarding his birth, just happened to pass away the day before the election. How convenient!!

Sorry for the belated reply. I just ran across this old posting. My opinion is this: The truth WILL come out, eventually. Many are working very hard right now to discover it. Once it does, it will be a bombshell, believe me! The libs will no longer be able to deny it, and the Congress, who 'vetted' him as being qualified, may find themselves facing criminal charges. We may end up with a new Amendment to the US Constitution, detailing, in minuetae, just what constitutes a Native Born Citizen. So be it. But, again, the truth will come out, and it won't bode well for Mr. Obama.
Let's not drag this out anymore. Let's go for it now – LET"s ROLL!!!!!!!! Once and for all, let's put all the liars, crooks, and falsifiers behind the 8 ball and fire/impeach them all – CONGRESS/SENATE and do it immediately.

I don't know where Keyna is, but Michelle Obama didn't say that her husband was born either there or in Kenya–that's simply a birther fiction.
You might wonder why they bother making up things that are so easy to dispute, but then, if you're going to get worked up about a post that's more than two years old, I suppose it wouldn't be worth spending 30 seconds to do some research on the issue.
James McPherson, you keep harping about posts that are more than two years old. As of today, November 13, 2011 no one has satisfactorily answered the question of where Obama was born. He has said he was born in two different hospitals in Hawaii; but provided no proof. One thing is for sure, he is not eligible to be president because he is not a natural born citizen, even if he was born in Hawaii. His father was not a citizen of the United States. Why can't you and all your liberal/progressive Democrats realize this? Is it your leftist education, you know the one gotten from the present school system? You need to re-educate yourself by first forgetting everything taught you, then go to the library and read…read….read. The constitution would be the first document to research.
