Attorney General Eric Holder says nine Obama appointees in the Justice Department have represented or advocated for terrorist detainees before joining the Justice Department. But he does not reveal any names beyond the two officials whose work has already been publicly reported. And all the lawyers, according to Holder, are eligible to work on general detainee matters, even if there are specific parts of some cases they cannot be involved in.
Holder’s admission comes in the form of an answer to a question posed last November by Republican Sen. Charles Grassley. Noting that one Obama appointee, Principal Deputy Solicitor General Neal Katyal, formerly represented Osama bin Laden’s driver, and another appointee, Jennifer Daskal, previously advocated for detainees at Human Rights Watch, Grassley asked Holder to give the Senate Judiciary Committee “the names of political appointees in your department who represent detainees or who work for organizations advocating on their behalf…the cases or projects that these appointees work with respect to detainee prior to joining the Justice Department…and the cases or projects relating to detainees that have worked on since joining the Justice Department.”
In his response, Holder has given Grassley almost nothing. He says nine Obama political appointees at the Justice Department have advocated on behalf of detainees, but did not identify any of the nine other than the two, Katyal and Daskal, whose names Grassley already knew. “To the best of our knowledge,” Holder writes.

This whole administration needs to be taken down, put in jail, and their assets seized. They need to be kept in prison and kept away from anyone who can influence anything about the American government. They want to destroy this country and all it has historically come to mean? Then let them be the ones to bear the brunt of the fury of those of us they intend to destroy. Oust and imprison these criminals who would do us out of our lives and our subsequent generations lives, and let them live out what they have in solitary – not even allowed to communicate with each other, lest the conspire to become an even more destructive force – and live in the bare poverty that they have no conscience about driving the entire American population into. We are facing actual, literal slavery in modern times, when this should not be a possibility, not in AMERICA! Get rid of the destroyers, and put them where they deserve to be. ALL of them. The Clintons are part of that group as well. All of the Pelosis, Reids, Kennedys, the list is not endless, but it does consists of several hundred. We all know them collectively. Get them out of the governmental process, stop their vampirical feeding upon the life blood of the American people, NEUTRALIZE THEM and get them out of the country. FOREVER. Greed, corruption, and rampant tyrrany is what we are looking at now. DON'T wait till tomorrow to FIX this! We may not have one!

Attorney General Eric Holder (an APPOINTED official) must surely feel he is personally above our Constitution (which he swore to defend) and any other laws of the land. What a disgraceful leader of the Department of Justice.

Can you believe he is a Constitutional Lawyer? He certainly does not seem to believe or support the constitution.

It is about America and it's people, I would like believe we have some people that want to represent us. I am a legal Immigrant now citizen, from a socialist country and have lived in Six countries and worked in approximately forty countries, America has been by far the best country to live in. How many other non-Senate confirmees do we have in the Justice Dept.? And why weren't they vetted about their prior involvement with firms having dealings with Radical Islam? Shouldn't they have been screened out in the interview process?

One does not have to be a Rhodes Scholar and an 'expert Consitutional lawyer' to conclude what this man is doing. Those of us outside the Beltway have enough common sense to know a crook when we see one. And to hell with giving this man and his administration any 'contitutional rights' – he has discarded our 'nation of laws' history at his descretion, thus we should grant him the same consideration that he has given the American public for the past three years.
We, the voters, have given this nation the deplorable condition that we now find ourselves mired in. It is now time we simply have a national uprising against Washington, D.C. and the entire federal bureaucracy before they destroy us beyond regeneration.
