As more defendants in the government’s failed “Operation Fast and Furious” face sentencing, a gun lobbying organization emphasizes the urgency for Attorney General Eric Holder to cooperate and release important documents.
Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America (GOA), says while the Office of the Inspector General may have closed its book on Fast & Furious, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee still wants the documents Holder has refused to deliver under the cover of the White House’s “executive privilege.”
Pratt is pleased the matter has been taken to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, where criminal and civil charges have been filed.
“These are issues that should’ve been put before the American public,” he asserts. “We in effect attacked the republic of Mexico by sending guns into their country, into criminals’ hands, without ever letting the Mexican government know what we were doing.”
Though failure to release the documents put Holder in civil and criminal contempt of Congress, Pratt is astonished by the attorney general’s arrogance regarding his relationship to the law.

Holder is protected by Obama and America knows that they are both guilty as sin, otherwise why would Obama have claimed Executive Privilege, if he was not involved in the gun running operation?
