WASHINGTON (Official Wire) — The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld virtually all of President Barack Obama’s historic health care overhaul, including the hotly debated core requirement that nearly every American have health insurance.
The 5-4 decision meant the huge overhaul, still taking effect, could proceed and pick up momentum over the next several years, affecting the way that countless Americans receive and pay for their personal medical care.
The ruling hands Obama a campaign-season victory in rejecting arguments that Congress went too far in approving the plan. However, Republicans quickly indicated they will try to use the decision to rally their supporters against what they call “Obamacare,” arguing that the ruling characterized the penalty against people who refuse to get insurance as a tax.
Breaking with the court’s other conservative justices, Chief Justice John Roberts announced the judgment that allows the law to go forward with its aim of covering more than 30 million uninsured Americans. Roberts explained at length the court’s view of the mandate as a valid exercise of Congress’ authority to “lay and collect taxes.” The administration estimates that roughly 4 million people will pay the penalty rather than buy insurance.
Even though Congress called it a penalty, not a tax, Roberts said, “The payment is collected solely by the IRS through the normal means of taxation.”

Hurray!!! Obama finally found his Birth certificarte, its about time, am I jumping the gun here? he must have come up with proof of his birth and who he is or he couldnt’ have passed a health care bill, it would be null and void just like any other bill he passed. right? so he must have found it.
In 20008 Hillary Clinton tried to change the constitution so Obama could run for President legally, she couldn’t do it, neither could Clare mcCaskill or John Conyers, a few others tried as well and no one could do it so he ran anyway and won. He wasn’t eligible then and he is not eligible now, why would he be, did a little angel come down and bring him a Birth certificate? He swore on the bible to uphold the constitution, , oh wait a minute, he fluffed his lines so he swore on the Bible in Justice Roberts chambers later, duh.
I don’t want ot tell you how many people know that Obama is not eligible, even the News anchors on Fox news say if he doesn’t raise more money he is going to have trouble winning the race, he shouldn’t be in it to begin with, no one will just come out and say it. It is really insulting to the American people to act as though he is just another American President. His Father was a member of the muslim Brother hood for 30 years, he was not born here so that alone would make him ineligible.
I think we should all contact the Sherrifs who offered ot help us if we needed it and call for a citizens arrest, as many citizens as we can get together, let him prove in a court of law, I don’t mean the Obama court , the Supreme court, I mean a real ocurt of law. I will be working on it, meanwhile, I hope none of you are going ot suffer from the loss of htis bill, I do, but its better to have a medicaid card I think i fyou need hel[p, this is not help, this is running your life intrusive pain in the asdsness. also a RFID chip awaits you. This is not a legal bill, no one has to do crap until they can prove he is eligible to pass a bill like this or any bill for that matter.
Justice Roberts has made his decision, now let him enforce it.
The IRS will do that.
We no longer have a majority of conservative judges on SCOTUS> Justice Roberts is a disgrace and no conservative.
Totalitarian Socialism now has its foot in the door. This is the final nail in the coffin of America as we once knew it. There are now only two ways this law can be repealed. True conservatives must now win both the Senate, the House and the White house. Even if they win both houses a repeal of the law will not get past the veto we know will happen unless a veto prof Congress is elected. The chances of either one of those happening are slim to none and Slim is leaving town fast. In the next four years, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Constitution will be the next thing to go into the shredder. November 2008 was the beginning of the end.

There is nothing arcane about the wording in the Constitution. Obamacare is a clear violation of the Constitution. These justices are rightfully injustices of the supreme court in interpreting by some convoluted measure the implied validity of this patently UNCONSTITUTIONAL bill.
