WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court has turned away a challenge from former House Majority Leader Dick Armey and other Social Security recipients who say they have the right to reject Medicare in favor of continuing health coverage from private insurers.
The justices did not comment Monday in letting stand a federal appeals court ruling that held that there is no way for people who receive Social Security to reject Medicare benefits.

These judges in our courts are complicit with the destruction of our liberties/freedoms. I don’t think a Social Security recipient should be FORCED on Medicare if they can get better insurance through a private insurer. This IS tyranny at it’s best — Judicial tyranny.
I read comments on another story last night and the one who posted swore that Medicare was not mandatory. All you had to do was show you had other insurance. I was sure that was not correct, but let it pass. If he believed it that much, when he turns 65, he is in for one big surprise. Now, with Obamacare, elderly will be rationed health care, if not cost effective then they will not be allowed the procedures or meds needed. This is already happening, my Mother is needing surgery, but, she is not a candidate due to her age. So, they put her in a nursing home, give her liquid meds for pain, feed her chips and sips, and basically are waiting on her to die. Since she is medicare, she was allowed only a certain number of days to be in hospital, and now nurse from a hospice come in to give her pain meds. She was taken by her loving youngest LIBERAL daughters 1500 miles away from her home and the rest of her family, somehow they have Power of Attorney and due to distance and jobs, as well as time off from jobs, no other family can get to visit her. She is the victim of Medicare and 2 stupid daughters who for their convenience moved her to be close to them without notifying other family members. Sad, sad state that this can be done. It is just as sad that they agreed to the “not a candidate for surgery” ploy. God will make sure they regret it, I am just sorry I will not be able to watch it happen. She has developed severe dementia, so she doesn’t even know who calls. This medicare thing is horrid, as well as the fact that it takes all her money to pay for the care she SHOULD be getting. This, my friends is what is in the future if we do not stop Obama NOW and get some sanity back to the people of the USA.
I am so sorry to hear about what your sisters have done, and what is happening to yoru Mom. The following is an article on what Germany si doign to their elderly. They are being shipped off to eleder care and nursing homes in Eastern Europe and Asia. God only know what kind of hell these elderly will be subjected to there. I hate to think about it. Germany has taken part of their worker’s wages for years on the promise that they will be taken care of when the time comes. Now Germany is finding that othat it is too expensive to keep them there, so the exporting of their elderly is the result. I wouldn’t put it past our government to resort to something like that. In oru case it would probably be to Mexico.

Actually elderly people get a lot better care in mexico then they do here and cost a lot less. Starting to be really big business down there.
Not to worry I have been assured they are cute and have money (direct quote) so I guess while mom lays and wastes away, they can buy her life. Family is great isn’t it? But, the medicare problem will be there, if it is not cost effective and you are old, better make sure you have things in order because they are going to let you die, pumped full of pain meds so you feel GOOD about it. I am so fed up with the USA and Obama, I am ready to leave and go to some 3rd world country that values their elderly. Ok My gripe for today HAHA
We will never be able to instill sanity to the american voter. The group who elected these horrendous people voted for being taken care of. Not for someone to lead the country. Now that there are more takers than providers, they will always win.They will never give up their “rights” to their “entitlements”. Obama has them by the you-know-whats and he will keep them there untill he no longer wants to be President. He will find a way to stay in office long after his two terms are over because he will refuse to give up his power and those who voted for him (the freebees) will be ever so glad that he is President, especially if he smiles at them and is successfull in taking from the rich and giving the money to them. It isn’t Obama that is at fault. It is the voters. He could never do this without them. They have ruined the country with their hate, and we have let them. We will all suffer because of it, and It will take ten lifetimes to undo the damage. Sorry.

ourt has become a tool of the regime. I have to wonder under what threats were made to them if they didn’t comply. No one should HAVE to take medicare if they don’t want it, if they can find an insurer that will insure them after age 65.
