Once again we see an Obama/abortion supporter who cannot keep to a civil debate. This time in Wisconsin where Appleton resident Mary Hogland, 83, tried to interrupt a small, private Romney event. When her outburst was vociferously opposed by the Romney supporters that were actually invited to the gathering, Hogland spat in the face of one of the elderly women present.

Definitely – she should have an assault charge against her and take it all the way to court. If this had been reversed the lady spitting would definitely have filed charges.

I also want to say that why don’t these people just not go to places they disagree with. Even if Barack O would have something a block away from my house, I wouldn’t go there and give him the satisifaction of thinking that one more person was on his side and quite frankly, would not to hear more lies coming out of his mouth.
on one hand the lady in peach first got into the spitters face, which she had no rights to do. You can as all the other ladies did, express their opinion without get 3 or 4 inches from the spitters face to make her statement.
Though the spitting may be uncalled for, it was provoked by the lady in peach. Had she kept her distance and voiced her opinion, the spitting episode probably would not have taken place. She provoked it and the spitter told her to get out of her face then immediately spat. clearly indicating that the reason for the spitting was provoked due to coming up on her like she did can constitute a threat. If someone gets in your face, you are going to consider it a threat.
Though I don’t agree with the spitters purpose of being their or her opinion, she was engaged by the lady in peach and provoked to take action to get the woman to retreat and back away from her face.
According to you if you yell at a cop he can shoot you. Yelling is not quite the same as spitting i sure you will agree. Someone could have intervened
Really nobama2012 . In case you don’t , and it shows you don’t , you can jump in any one’s face , without being assaulted . If the older person had bumped the other person , that’s called a threat . But , what court would take that as an assault ? She was the smaller one , and that my friend , is how any other court in our land take that into that . A provoke is a threat of words or touching a person , I don’t think the older woman would had told her / him that she was going to clean the other person’s clock , do you ? That’s called knowing the law .
Furthermore, I don’t agree or support planned parenthood, but look at the aggressiveness of the initiator (lady in peach) The spitter was quietly voicing her opposition of the speaker. The lady in peach beside her didn’t agree with her and began to shout in aggression because her opinion was different from the lady in peach. Certainly did not constitute being shouted at and certainly not moving up into her face as if the threaten her. She was warned to back off and didn’t and consequences followed. The aggressor got smacked down then complained after she was put in her place. If it was men in the same situation, a punch would have likely been thrown to get the aggressor to back off.
Take the politics out of it and the party line, both parties do the wrong thing. In this case the lady in peach had not right to raise her voice or shout at another person and get into their face just because of a difference of opinion. She got what she deserved. If it was a tupperware party or any other event and one person began shouting and climbed up into the face of someone else, the same results would have happened regardless of political views.
If you was walking through a mall or anywhere, and someone started shouting at you and put their face 4 inches from your face, that persons actions are suggestion aggression and the other person has a right to defend their self.

And , as such , you keep showing how badly you don’t know the laws of what shows what the courts take as a threat . First , the woman in ” peach ” , as you called her , can yell , scream , jump up and down , all she wants to . She can stand in front of anybody she wants to . Under the courts of this land , since she only weighs about a 115 pounds , wet , isn’t a threat to the overweight person . And , unless the woman in ” peach ” , touched the over weight woman , or , saying something like , ” I’m going to beat you to pulp ” , or something like that , and I really don’t think she did , then she could be a threat . But , under what you , yourself saying , and the court will take that way , she didn’t threat anybody . The only person who is a threat , was the over weight person who did the spitting . That’s clear as day .
@Daniel Noe – author – To suggest that the poor “grandmotherly Romney supporter” got spat on was unjustified, you need to look at the video again and watch how the “Grandmotherly Romney supporter” was the one that was shouting and the one who approached “spitter grandmother in a threatening manner, so much as to get within inches of the ladies face and shouting. Don’t try stooping to the democrats levels and try to distort the truth and the facts. In this case the Romney supporter had no right to invade someone elses space or shout at them because they had a different opinion.
Shame on you for trying to twist and manipulate the facts and the truth. You may be better off shifting over to the liberal blogs if you are going to continue to reach to find some story even if you have to try to distort and manipulate a situation that simply was unjustified.

Amazing nobama2012 . Under what you call a ” threat ” , anybody that is not agreeing to you , are the ” threat ” to you . I really like to know where you got your degree of law because it’s clearly that you need to hire a lawyer to get your money back from that school . You don’t know anything of the laws of this country . If I don’t agree with what you believe in , and yell at you , in front of you , that’s not a threat . Any police would tell you that .
