The lone Republican in the Hawaii State Senate was interviewed on the radio this morning, explaining that while he believes Barack Obama was born in the Aloha State, he questions what might be on the original, long-form birth certificate that would prompt the president to go to such lengths to conceal it.
“I’m not a ‘birther,’” Hawaii State Sen. Sam Slom told Jeff Katz of WXKS Radio in Boston, “and I followed this from the very beginning. At first I followed it with amusement, and then I got really concerned about it, because the question was if it was not just the birth certificate, but other records as well – school records, academic records, work records – why would anyone spend millions of dollars in legal fees, particularly someone in public office, particularly someone in the highest public office, to not make that information public?”
As WND has reported, besides Obama’s actual birth documentation, the president has refused to release his Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, Illinois State Bar Association records, baptism records and his adoption records.
“There are different theories,” Slom continued. “One is that there is no birth certificate at all; I don’t think that’s true, I think there is a birth certificate. The second is there may be some very interesting information that the president does not want released, for example, who his father really is or what’s listed on the birth certificate.
“In any event, here is the president of the United States,” Slom said, “you’ve got to have [a birth certificate to present], why don’t we require that of the president?”

Why can't I see his thesis from Columbia College? Don't you remember the back and forth between Bush and Gore on who had the better grades in high school and college? Our President has done this to himself to make the public so skeptical. It's not just the birth cert anymore. It's everything else. What can be that bad about seeing his Harvard reviews that he wrote? Why spend one penney to lock that stuff up. Since he is our president, he should let us see it. What really bothers me is that if I applied for any responsible position with the U.S. Government, I would be seriously vetted. My past would be an open book. My parents, my place of birth,my friends, my education etc. Yet, this man holding the highest position in 'the world' was never investigated. Why?

Comes time to go to school, and he is listed as BARRY SOETORO, AND A MUSLIM. When he returned in his teens to Hawaii he would have had a passport from Indonesia. Being raised by Communist grandparents with help from Frank Marshall Davis of Commie FBI file fame, BARRY goes to Occidental College in California. Does he receive $$$$ from the US government for FOREIGN STUDENTS? If BARRY IS AN AMERICAN HE COMMITTED FRAUD IN RECEIVING AID TO FOREIGN STUDENTS. I don't believe in Unicorns, but you must you like to use this reference. And I also noticed you don't respond to the truth about Some of Ellen's assertions that she added to her researched facts. She assumes that because his mother would of had to spend 20,000 dollars (in today market value)to fly from Kenya to Hawaii and so that is why it didn't happen. This is speculation and unless she was there how could she call this a fact. For two reason The cost and nobody know where his mother traveled in 1961. She states that his mother would of had to have a passport visa to travel because it was the law at the time. Really? No one can confirm that is correct and that that law was adhered to 100% in 1961. Also she has stated in the past that only US citizen in 1961 received an Hawaiian Certificate of Live birth in 1961, well there was 300 issued to people that were not born in the USA from 1961 to 1965 in Hawaii. Government statistic available on the state government site, or was until this was released by person that keep a copy. I do not know where he was born. I have lots of problems with the child going to Indonesia and the possibility that his mother and step father could of possibility changed his citizenship to get into a good school that was only available to citizens of that country. Then his going to school in California as possibly being and foreign student to receive a grant to pay for it. She states a academic scholarship but has no proof but the same dribble I and some use at this site. Why would I? That would indicate I care about the issue as more than a silly diversion. But since you asked, her assertions, derived from logic, make far more sense than most birther theories (though it's hard to keep track of all of those, with his two or three supposed birthplaces, a variety of supposed fathers, a variety of citizenship claims, etc.–none supported by credible evidence, yet all voiced with certainty despite the fact that they clearly contradict one another).
For example: "No one can confirm that is correct and that that law was adhered to 100% in 1961." While it's true we can't know that to be true, it is logically more likely than the fantabulous alternative birthers try to spin. Just as no one can be 100% sure that unicorns don't exist.

Being originally from Chicago and formerlly abstractly connected with a lot of the political scene there, and many times on the seedy or shady side of the veil, I can say confidently say I have never met or dealt with or heard of an honest politician in Chicago, for that matter Illinois. From my indoctrination in 1968 to my last year there in 1995 there has been nothing but fraud, corruption, payoff or payola, in every function of city and state government. And it's probably very safe to say nothing has changed, most of the same players are still there, some have gone to jail, many more have bought their way out, and the new faces there now are even dumber and greedier than their predecessors. So if anyone out there really thinks Obama is any different they couldn't be more wrong! He is just better funded and radically subserviant to his socialist handlers. We should no longer assume he has a birth cerificate but instead we should assume he does not unless proof is provided. He can not be a contender in any debate for president unless proof is shown. He can not be the Democratic nominee WITHOUT PROOF AND VERIFIED birth certificate through we the people not Nancy Pelosi. If it shown that he does not meet the requirements of President of the United States all of his laws signed into law are null and void, this would set our government back by years the damage is enormous.
