Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie is going to finally put to rest the Birther debate (“Rest?” I thought that thing was already in a coma). In an exclusive interview with CNN’s Ed Henry, Abercrombie explained that he will try his best to publicly release the birth certificate. The strangest thing is that he plans on doing that even if the White House doesn’t want him to for fear of even bringing the dead argument back up. Why? Because Abercrombie has long been friends with President Obama’s parents and he’s sick of them being disrespected.
When Henry asked him about Obama’s privacy rights, this is how he responded:
“No, no. It’s not up to the President. It has nothing to do with the President. This has to do with the people of Hawaii who love him. People who loved his mom and dad. This has to do with respect to the office of the president that he’s entitled to and it has to do with the respect that every single person’s mother and father are entitled to.”
While I’m all for shutting down any more silly Bither debating, there seems to be a weird mixed message about loving the President and respecting his office while disregarding his wishes. When asked what he’d respond to people who said he may be hurting Obama by putting this all back in the headlines, Abercrombie responded that it it was “a matter of principle.”

I knew there was more to it than just – I gave up my Senate post because I wanted to be the Mayor of Hawaii. I think he was sent here to tell this story of his.
Mr. Obama started his election by refusing to give his personal information except his name and where he worked. We were not used to that kind of treatment from the one we elected to be president, but we weren't told this. His privacy without deference to the Constitution is unforgivable, a deal breaker. And before we can do anything he gives away trillions of dollars. Then we catch him lying and that he had 19 different S.S.#'s.
Now I want him impeached and nullified for the lies he told in his campaign speeches and as the President. Governor Abacrumbie is going to fight hard to keep his boss and his lies. He won't nullify (he wants illegal immigration and doesn't follow the Constitution) and we are screwed. He has a war chest and ran over his opponent.

That referred to transparency in government, and it hasn't been fulfilled. So, I am disappointed and might even vote against Obama in 2012. But no president has ever shown detailed college records, and he does not have to show the marriage license of his parents (if he even has it) as some birthers desire, and his kindergarden records as well (a nutty idea since they probably do not even exist).
Obama HAS shown the official birth certificate of Hawaii, the Certification of Live Birth. If the next speaker of the house were to ask to see Obama's birth certificate (which is highly unlikely since he was already one of the 535 members of Congress who voted UNANIMOUSLY to confirm Obama's election), Obama would simply show him the Certification of Live Birth, which is the official birth certificate of Hawaii–used by thousands of people every year.
I did not say that the speaker of the house would ask to see it. I was just recommending that he do a bi-partisan thing and show it to him and put this thing to rest. Not the abridged version either. The whole long form. The world has more important issues to focus on right now. The energy people are spending on this issue should be redirected. I agree this guy has broken many promises and has proven to be not what I was expecting either. Obama cannot show the long-form birth certificate because Obama does not have the long-form birth certificate. Obama only has what Hawaii sent him in 2007, the short form birth certificate that has been sent out to everyone since 2001. That is the official birth certificate of Hawaii, and that (the official birth certificate) is the birth certificate that the 10 Republicans who are sponsoring the "birther bill" have asked future candidates for president to show–the OFFICIAL birth certificate, not the original birth certificate.

So you don't like her. But you do not have evidence that she is lying about Obama's birth certificate. It she did lie, it would be a stupid lie because the information in the files would disprove it and she had a CONSERVATIVE Republican attorney general who could find out that fact.

There is not a shred of proof of birth in Kenya. Obama's Kenyan grandmother never said that he was born in Kenya. She said repeatedly that he was born in Hawaii in the taped interview, and she said that the first that her family had heard of Obama's birth was in a letter from Hawaii in another interview.

You are not discussing the facts. The facts are that Obama was born in Hawaii and has proven it with the official birth certificate of Hawaii, which has been repeatedly confirmed by the officials in Hawaii. That is why the US Congress voted to confirm Obama's election UNANIMOUSLY.

Obama was never a citizen of Indonesia as a telephone call to the Indonesian Embassy in Washington will confirm (ask for the press officer). Berg is wrong about there being a law in Indonesia that said that you had to be an Indonesian citizen to go to school in Indonesia. And he is also wrong about Obama having received Indonesian citizenship. Moveover, Obama could not lose his US citizenship even if he became an Indonesian citizen, which he did not.

Abercrombie promised 27 December 2010. He reneged 28 December 2010. Barry's torpedoes got to him fast. Above all, Barry doesn't want it known that his birth father was not Obama the black Luo tribesman.
The real issue is whether Barry lost U.S. citizenship. Odds are he did when he was expatriated from the U.S., acquired Indonesian citizenship as a lad, and re-affirmed Indonesian citizenship as an adult.

There is an unsigned application for a school in Indonesia that says that Obama was an Indonesian citizen. There is no evidence that the parents filled in that form, which may have simply been filled in by a clerk. A call to the Indonesian embassy will show you that Obama was never a citizen of Indonesia.

There are no facts on which to base your belief.
Obama has produced the only legal Hawaiian birth certificate, the only one Hawaii issues. The Republican Governor of Hawaii has said that the birth certificate is legitimate and she said Obama was born in Hawaii and even named the hospital, Kapiolani. Obama’s birth announcements appeared in both Hawaii newspapers in 1961. In those days the birth announcements came from the Hawaii Department of Vital Records, which only sent out announcements for births IN Hawaii, not for births outside of Hawaii.
Why would the Hawaii in 1961 government be a part of a conspiracy to falsify the birth of a bi-racial baby born to poor college students? Apparently they all knew he would grow up to be president and wanted to hide his Kenyan birth (?!). If his parents thought that Obama even have a chance of running and winning an election for president, then why not stay in Hawaii, give birth there, and then go to see his father's family AFTER he was born? (It would have been a lot safer too, since there was a high incidence of miscarriage in those days, and there was Yellow Fever in Kenya.)
The trip to Kenya would have been very expensive. Terribly expensive, tens of thousands of dollars in 2010 terms. But suppose Obama's poor college student parents somehow got the money together to travel to Kenya, and they actually went (in fact, there is no evidence that Obama’s mother even had a passport in 1961).
Say, however, that they went and that she gave birth while in Kenya. So, how did they get their child back to the USA without either a US visa or the change to his mother’s passport while in Kenya to include him? You know, we don’t allow children to be carried into the USA (especially black children from Africa) without some kind of document showing that they are allowed to enter. If there had been such a document, it would have been easy to find, since the application for the visa or the passport change would still be on file, and there were not that many applications for such documents in Kenya in those days. No such document has been found.

Answer: Since no president before Obama ever showed his birth certificate, there is obviously no law that says that a president must show his birth certificate. In fact, Obama has shown his birth certificate–the official birth certificate of Hawaii–but he did not legally have to do it.

Answer: Obama has shown the official birth certificate, that is the one that would be required in employment, not the original birth certificate. As for Obama demanding that you or I "produce a birth certificate," I have no idea what you are referring to. Obama has not asked for anyone to show her or his birth certificate.
There are ways to amend the Constitution. The vote of 535 members of Congress is not one of them.
Are you saying that all 535 members of Congress are violating the Constitution?
No they are not. They voted the way that they ALL did because (1) not one single one of them believed that Obama was born outside of the USA; and (2) not one single one of them believed that the citizenship of Obama's father has any effect on Obama's Natural Born Citizen status, which stems entirely from his birth in the USA.
I did not say that, but they have so far failed to uphold their oath to support and defend it in this matter, in complete and total disregard of their oaths of office. But then the same can be said of the state legislators, who are charged with appointing presidential electors (U.S. Const. Art. II Sec. 1).
BTW, the original birth certificate, which I assume can be verified by DNA analysis, will show that Barry was born to two U.S. parents in the U.S.A., rendering immaterial your frivolous assertion that a citizen under Amendment 14 is a natural born citizen under Article II Section 1 of the Constitution. This specious position is taken by the Obama cabal to avoid disclosing the original birth certificate showing that neither parent was of recent African origin. Barry wants to conceal that he's not black. My best guess, given the withholding of definitive documentation and DNA, is that Stanley Armour Dunham was Barry's actual birth father and an as yet unknown predominantly Polynesian wahine, from whom Barry inherits his warm mahogany complexion, was his birth mother. Hence Barry was a natural born citizen at the time of his birth, albeit not of recent African origin.
There is, however, ample ground to investigate with infinite attention to detail, without so much as a passing nod to hearsay from the Indonesian press secretary, whether Barry became Indonesian. The miasma of corrupt deals to cover up evidence of his Indonesian citizenship might be the greatest scandal in American history.
But you, stiff-arming the all but certain case for finding Barry lost citizenship, refuse to consider thorough investigation of the matter. Why object to disclosure of the facts and thorough, open and definitive analysis? It's the only way to resolve the issue. Concealment of evidence is fuel for suspicion.
IF a congressional committee were to investigate, it would find that Obama was born in Hawaii, as has been shown overwhelmingly. And, it would find that Obama was never a citizen of Indonesia (as you yourself can confirm with a telephone call to the Indonesian Embassy).
You have every right to encourage your congressmen and the heads of congressional committees to investigate. You also have the right to have them investigate whether men actually landed on the moon (they did) and whether the earth is flat (it is round). So, if no congressional committee decides to investigate the reason is, obviously, that it does not think there is anything to investigate. Obama was no more born outside the USA nor lost his US citizenship than that the earth is flat.
As for your claim that Obama senior is not listed as Obama's father on the original birth certificate, it is silly. The method by which facts are inserted in the new short form birth certificate is that a clerk reads the original document in the files and copies the facts onto the computer form, which then spits out the new Certification of Live Birth. The clerk wrote in Obama senior because Obama senior was on the original, just as Honolulu, Hawaii was on the original.

You hinge your arguments on a photoshopped image, not even a legal document, but a registration that affirms a long form was recorded. Which is worthless for purposes of ID. Obama has not sealed any records. His birth certificate, draft card, college thesis, etc–are all private. They have always been private. The college records, draft cards, etc–of everyone, and every US president and every US presidential candidate–are all private. They are not sealed. They were never sealed. They are simply private.

Just for fun I stopped by and got a copy of my Certificate of live Birth in the town I was born in and guess what. It has all the same information that my real birth certificate has. Interesting. "We will find out someday" and when we do, just like the some of the people on this site will never believe even a real birth certificate, the left will choose to use selective hearing when this mans history is really known. So there we are both sides hearing only what they want to hear and we have a man in office that has been responsible for 5 Trillion dollars of debt in only two years. I think that is a record. Oh that right he had to spend all that because of George Bush had 6 good years and two bad ones after the left took over congress. See more selective hearing again from both sides. The answer is simple, divide the country in two and let the left do what they want to do and the right do what they want to do. Lets just call it a case study. I too have spoken about that and, who knows, it just might be in the cards. At this point, am not even certain it can be avoided. The country is so ideologically divided I can't see how the yawning differences can be bridged. The left will not give up until we've all succumbed to the socialist drivel and rule. Not me. Hawaii has not sent out copies of the original birth certificate since the short-form Certification of Live Birth became the official birth certificate in 2001. It did not send a copy of the long-form to Obama when he asked for his birth certificate in 2007. It sent him the short form Certification, which is what it sends to everyone.

Obama only has the short-form birth certificate. That is the one that Hawaii sent to him in 2007 because it is the one that Hawaii sends out to everyone. Since there are professional birther sites that repeatedly lie about Obama's Kenyan grandmother claiming that he was born in Kenya (she actually said repeatedly that Obama was born in Hawaii), Obama could not have "closed this issue.'

No SEALED by Executive Order. First day on the job. I have read this Executive order. Many Presidents in the past have used this option and will. I don't what to see any of this. Obama's first executive order actually made it harder for presidents and former presidents to seal their presidential records than under George Bush (You have to read both executive orders and compare them to see the difference). AND, it applies only to the federal presidential records of presidents and former presidents. IT DOES NOT apply to state or college records, which were private before the executive order and just as private after the executive order and which are not affected by the executive order at all.

Come 2012, various Republican presidential candidates will be asked whether they believe what the birthers claim or not, and then in virtually every case they will say that they do not believe–and they will lose the votes of the birthers. Great idea. All you have to do is convince a congressional committee to do the investigation. Since they all believe that Obama's birth in Hawaii is as certain as 1+1 = 2, that would be difficult to do. You do realize that IF Obama actually were born outside of the USA, there would be proof of it in the USA state department files, and that proof would have been found years ago when the Bush Administration was in charge of the State Department.
That is because if a child is born outside of the USA, in a country without a land border to the USA so he cannot be smuggled, there would have to be a US visa issued to allow that child to enter the USA. If there had been a US visa issued for Obama, it would have been found years ago.

State Department records are pertinent. I would not expect them to show Barry was born abroad (no pun intended), consistent with the COLB and Hawai'i's vital records of Barry's birth and adoption.

As Obama will not voluntarily consent to disclose all the evidence, the only way to resolve outstanding issues is compulsory process, the compelling of testimony under oath and subpoenae of documents and things.

Nothing at all Congressional investigating committees are supposed to investigate. But they do not have to investigate things that they think are stupid. There was no congressional investigation of Berg's allegation that Bush had planned the collapse of the twin towers. There was no investigation of the allegation that US astronauts did not land on the moon and that the whole thing was filmed in Hollywood. There was no investigation of the claim that the earth is flat. And, for the same reason, there will be no investigation of the allegations that Obama was born outside of Hawaii (which is stupid, there would have had to have been a visa to get him to America) or of the equally stupid allegation that Obama lost or gave up his US citizenship while he was in Indonesia.
The Kenya myth is particularly stupid. IN addition to the absence of a US visa, which would be needed if he were really born in Kenya, there is the absence of any proof that his mother ever went to Kenya. Birthers claim that this is because Kenya "sealed the records," but there is no credible evidence that Kenya sealed anything. Also, there is the HUGE cost of such a trip in 1961, and these were two poor students. And the risk of such a trip late in pregnancy, and the officials and the notices in the newspapers and a witness all saying that he was born in Hawaii.
There may still be some adults who believe in the toothfairy, but a congressional investigating committee is not likely to believe the stupid myth that Obama was born in Kenya, or the equally absurd allegation that he lost or gave up his US citizenship.

I'm assuming the COLB is valid and accurate as far as it goes, but by its nature it's ambiguous. The named parents would be birth parents or adoptive parents. Dr. Fukino's July 2009 statement (page 76 The Manchurian President) is compelling evidence there was an adoption, because she says the "vital records" (N.B., plural) show Barry was a natural born U.S. citizen. Hence the alien black Luo could not be a birth parent. And that is a principal reason why Barry doesn't want the original birth certificate released; it would show he's not black.
The real issue is whether Barry lost his U.S. citizenship, which seems likely. There must be exhaustive official investigations of this issue immediately, along with a subpoena of Barry's "vital records".
There is absolutely no evidence of an adoption. Obama did not lose his US citizenship while in Indonesia, as the Indonesian government will tell you if you ask at the Embassy in Washington. And furthermore it is impossible for a US child to lose his citizenship through the actions of his parents. There have been Supreme Court cases on that subject; and they all ruled that loss of citizenship by a child is not allowed. Only when a person herself declares in a written statement that she wants to give up citizenship can this be done, and if there were such a statement for Obama, it would have been found years ago.

No evidence of an adoption? Indonesian law is different from U.S. law. Adoption might arise by operation of law, without the paper trail you look for in America. Also, graft is endemic to Indonesia, comprising maybe 25% of gross domestic product. Barry's obeisance to Islamic potentates and aggression, and huge space contracts to Indonesia that will enrich its officials, their families, companies and friends, could well be part of Obama's pay-offs for concealing evidence of his Indonesian citizenship. Vast investigative resources are required to uncover and marshal law and facts to determine whether Barry lost U.S. citizenship.
Barry's school records, and other records that he will not consent to be disclosed, could very well include documents and representations indicating evidence of Barry's Indonesian citizenship, which has since been purged by Indonesian officials complicit in a cover-up of Barry's Indonesian citizenship.

I find Berg's analysis of Obama's citizenship, supported by original sources, to be far more persuasive than claptrap from WSJ and an anonymous Indonesian press secretary. There is ample reason for appropriate legislative, prosecutorial and electoral officials to investigate Barry's birth and times to confirm (probably) that he was a natural born U.S. citizen and determine whether he lost U.S. citizenship altogether. I have no authority to make that determination. However, I don't see what's wrong with a thorough investigation of all relevant and material facts and law and let the chips fall where they may. Isn't that fair and reasonable? Is it not better than a well-founded suspicion of an illegal alien in the White House?

IF the Indonesian government says that Obama was not adopted in Indonesia and was never a citizen of Indonesia, no US congressional investigation will find proof that he was adopted in Indonesia or that he became an Indonesian citizen. And most likely none will be stupid enough to try such an investigation. You have every right to encourage your legislators and the heads of congressional committees and subcommittees to investigate. They have every right to laugh at you.
One reason that Obama could not have become an Indonesian citizen (besides the Indonesian government saying that he wasn't) was the dual citizenship requirement. Obama could only become an Indonesian citizen if he proved to Indonesia that he had given up his US citizenship, but Obama could not prove that because the US government does not allow children to relinquish their US citizenship.
Berg's claim that you had to be an Indonesian citizen to attend Indonesian public schools turns out to be a simple lie. There was no such law. Some schools had the requirement. Others didn't. And still others allowed the family to lie and claim that the child was an Indonesian citizen when they all knew that it was a lie and he wasn't.

Who cares? The birth certificate is all but irrelevant – it's a smokescreen thrown up by the left. Here's the deal:
1.) The birth certificate reveals that Frank Marshall is O's real father. That would mean that O, Hawaiian officials and the Democratic party that vetted and verified his credentials lied and falsified documentation. Massive conspiracy; lots of heads roll. Case closed.
2.) More logically, the birth certificate proves that Obama, Sr. is the true daddy (where is irrelevant). That would make O ineligible because daddy was a Kenyan national and a British subject said subjugation passing automatically to Obummer at birth. Assuming birth in Hawaii, O became a dual citizen at birth which disqualifies him. Also, daddy was not a U.S.citizen so O fails to meet the 'natural born citizen' requirement of a child born on the soil (jus soli) AND born of parentS who were citizenS (jus sanguinis)

The US Constitution says that only a Natural Born Citizen is allowed to be president. The meaning of Natural Born at the time referred to birth in the country. It did not refer to the parents of the citizen at all. There is not a shred of evidence that the writers of the Constitution referred to the Swiss philosopher Vattel, who is not even mentioned once in the Federalist Papers. Instead, they referred to Blackstone, the British legal scholar, who wrote:
“The children of aliens, born here in England, are, generally speaking, natural-born subjects and entitled to all the privileges of such. Obama has already released the OFFICIAL birth certificate of Hawaii, and it shows that he was born in Hawaii. It is impossible to release the original, unless Hawaii changes its rules, because under the current rules Hawaii does not send out the original anymore. Abercrombie is suggesting that Hawaii change its rules and send out the original once again, or in Obama's case make a special exception and post it. And guess what that would show? It would show that Obama was born in Hawaii, as the official birth certificate already shows, and as the three Republican officials have already confirmed, and as the notices in the newspapers in 1961 also show.

Most have gone to short-form birth certificates these days, and most of those ONLY send out the short-form birth certificate, not the long-form. And Hawaii is one of them. The short form is now the official birth certificate, and it is used by thousands of people to get their US passports every year.
Hawaii provides certificate copies of birth certificates, just not the original birth certificate. The short-form Certification is certified, and that is the only one that Hawaii sends out–even to people who were born before it became the official birth certificate in 2001.

It would be interesting if you did a little research before spewing your stupid theories. The original birth certificate cannot show that Obama was white, and it cannot show that he was black. There is no place on the original that lists the race of the baby. There are places for listing the race of the father and of the mother, but those are also on the Certification. The race of the father and of the mother on the original are the same as on the Certification because the Certification was created from the facts on the original in the files.
Obama would be delighted to have the original birth certificate disclosed. There is nothing on it that he'd want to hide. There is no place on the original that discusses whether his parents were married or not, or their religions, or his religion, or his race. The reason that he cannot have the original disclosed is that in 2001 Hawaii decided not to release originals anymore, and it has not since then. Abercrombie is saying that he would like to change that situation, and if he does, the original will show that Obama was born in Hawaii, and it will not show Obama's race.
It will also not show that Obama was adopted. The former governor of Hawaii, and the witness both say that Obama was born in Kapiolani Hospital, as does Obama and his sister (she always said Kapiolani, UPI got it wrong once) and Abercrombie. If Obama's birth certificate were altered or amended, the law in Hawaii requires the Certification to say right on it that it was altered or amended, and neither are on it.
So there is no reason to refuse to disclose the vital records, is there? That's the only way to ascertain what they show. If Dr. Fukino's statement that the vital records show Barry was a natural born U.S. is to be believed, Obama the alien Luo could not be his birth father. See The Manchurian President, page 76. Other circumstances raise the implication that Barry's father was Stanley Armour Dunham, a Caucasian, and his mother a predominantly Polynesian wahine, perhaps with Portagee overtones.
The only way to know what the vital records show is to see the vital records. Official subpoena power is required for that.
Obama cannot disclose the original records because he does not have them. Gov. Abercrombie agrees with you and is trying to change the law to release the original. If he does, the document will show that Obama was born in Hawaii, as the officials have repeatedly confirmed. But, guess what, the birthers will not believe the original. They are already claiming that it will be forged.
Fukino' statement was also confirmed by the governor of Hawaii, and by the notices in the newspapers in Hawaii in 1961 (which were only official notices sent out by the department of vital records; they were not advertisements, and they were only sent out for births IN Hawaii).
The name of the father on the original birth certificate will be exactly the same as on the official birth certificate. That is because the clerk who filled in the computer form to generate the official birth certificate got all the facts from the original birth certificate in the files. That is how birth certificates work.

1.) There is no known reference to the use of Black's Law during constitutional deliberations. We know for a fact, however, that several copies of The Law of Nations was in constant use by the founding fathers and that tome defines 'natural born citizen' as a child born on the soil of parents who are citizens {plural}. Combined with the founding fathers' letters, articles, etc., the nod must go to The Law of Nations definition.
Furthermore, we know that the founding fathers indicated a difference between 'citizen' and 'natural born citizen' which belies the use of Black's definition.

John Jay, who wrote the note about a Natural Born Citizen to George Washington, was the main author of the first Constitution of the State of New York, and it refers to the common law and says that it will continue to be the law of the state of New York unless and until changed by New York statute.
Black's law dictionary is a contemporary publication, and it refers to common thinking about what the meaning of Natural Born Citizen is today. We know what the meaning of Natural Born was at the time that the Constitution was written from what the writers said to each other in letters and in articles, and they NEVER used the term Natural Born to refer to the parents. NEVER. They only used it the same way that Blackstone and the common law did.

IF the writers of the Constitution had written Vattel's book into the Constitution, they would have said so in the Federalist Papers. In fact, they do not mention Vattel AT ALL.
We had indeed just defeated the British, but John Jay, who had written about the need for a Natural Born Citizen in his letter to Washington, actually wrote the common law of Britain and the American colonies into the first Constitution of the State of New York (in 1777). You are not discussing the facts. The facts are that Vattel's book, The Law of Nations, is not mentioned in the Constitution. It is not even mentioned in the Federalist Papers, while the common law is mentioned in the federalist papers about twenty times.
It doesn't matter. Barry was born in Hawai'i to two U.S. citizens. See Dr. Fukino's July 2009 statement (page 76, The Manchurian President). Hence he was a natural born U.S. citizen at the time of his birth.

But the Constitution which insists on an indigenous or natural born person born and raised by parents who are Americans at the time of the birth had good protective reasons for the requirement which can only be changed by amendment. And yes, Donna pointed out the SSN controversy, which is riddled with problems. There's also, related to that, his application for the draft, which was found to have been faked while he was running for senate (or somewhere around that time) because the faked form still had a serial number on it and the serial number was a new one from a recent year! Plus, the SSN he is currently using is issued to a dead man in CT or somewhere on east coast where Obama has never had an address. A second interview in which Obama’s Kenyan grandmother said that the first that she had heard of Obama’s birth was in a letter from Hawaii is reported by the Tribune News Service in the Hartfort Courant, which describes how the Kenyan family received a letter announcing the Aug. 4, 1961, birth. A telephone call to the Indonesian embassy in Washington will confirm that Obama never changed his name legally when he was in Indonesia, never became an indonesian citizen, never had an Indonesian passport. As for the note on the passport application, we do not know what it meant, but it certainly did not mean that Obama was an Indonesian citizen or had legally changed his name. The divorce settlement also is meaningless. Just because Obama is referred to in the settlement does not mean that Soetoro was the father or that there was an adoption. The Indonesian government would know if there were an adoption, and it says that there was NOT one.

IF a person were born in Kenya, she or he would need a US travel document to get to the USA. That would be either a US visa on a foreign passport or the change to his mother's US passport to include him. One or the other would have had to have been applied for at a US Consulate in Kenya and granted before the child would be allowed to enter the USA.
If such a document existed, it would be easy to find because the records of the application for the visa or for the change to the mother's passport would still be in the files of the US State Department, filed under applications for visas and applications for changes to passports in Kenya in 1961. The Republicans were in charge of the US State Department until January 2009. No such document has been found. No such document exists.

The reason that the US Congress voted to confirm Obama's election UNANIMOUSLY and the reason that Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck all call birthers crazy is because they do not believe that birthers are rational.
You know damn well that if Obama were born in Kenya he would have had a US visa to get to the USA. There is no such visa, yet you believe that he was born in Kenya. You do this despite the Republican officials in Hawaii confirming the facts on Obama's birth certificate and despite the birth notices in the Hawaii newspapers (which were only sent out by the government of Hawaii at the time. They were not advertisements).
One of the reasons that the Supreme Court never tried any of the 6 or more eligibility to be President law suits against Obama is that Kagan was the Solicitor General then. She was responsible for deciding which law suits should be tried by the Supreme Court. She never made any effort to get any of the 6 or more tried by the court. Her appointment to the Supreme Ccourt by Obama was payback for her loyalty to him. She also was a former Dean of Harvard Law School where Obama studied law.
Incidently Obama and his wife have both lost their license to practice law.

If Obama ever had a passport other than a US passport, he could not have used it to travel in or out of the USA unless he had a US visa on that passport, and if he had that, we would know about it since it would have had to have been applied for and the records of those applications are still in the files. That is why we know that Obama had a US passport because he traveled from Indonesia to Hawaii alone when he returned to attend school, and he did not use a foreign passport–or he would have required a visa. There is no indication that he used a passport other than a US passport to visit Pakistan. Pakistan was NOT on any no travel list, nor did it keep US citizens from visiting when Obama visited in 1981. Also, we know that Obama never had an Indonesian passport, as a telephone call to the Indonesian embassy in Washington will confirm.

I have an authentic Hawaii Birth Certificate which is a photo copy of my original birth record. An original birth record of someone actually born in Hawaii contains the Hospital of Birth, the Physician's name, and is signed by that Physician. Anything less applies to Hawaii Statute 338-17.8. Go look that one up.
If the Obama people produce something other than an authentic birth record that is not properly formatted and dated in proper numerical order of serial numbers, then I won't believe it. However, if what is produced is an actual birth record, correct in all aspects, then I'll accept it. My gut tells me that Obama doesn't have an authentic original Hawaii birth record in his file. Why else would he spend 2 million, to date, to keep that file hidden?

I think you meant "birth" certificate, but in Obama's case gift would be an apt adjective, too. That's not a retroactive law. In any event, Obama's short form is null and void due to alterations made to it. The law specifically states that such alterations invalidate the form.
People aren't buying all the legalese, anyway. Like Matthews said, Obama should just release the long form birth certificate and brush this under the rug. The issue is not going to go away even after he's voted out of office. It only hurts Obama to let this fester.

Here is a question for you. Say that Obama were really born in Kenya or in any other country than the USA. The question is how did he get to the USA without a US visa? The Republicans were in charge of the US State Department for eight years up to January 2009, and if there had been such a visa they surely would have found it. There is no such document. She probably did not even have a US passport in 1961.

The founding documents were specifically retained for the purpose of proving original intent of the constitution. The powers vested in the judiciary do not include interpreting the constitution but in interpreting cases of law and equity under the constitution. In fact what is legal for the government is not what is legal for the citizens. WE hold all rights and powers not specified as granted to the government therefore the foundingdocuments are lawful as far as we the people wish them to be. Unfortunately some people think matters of law are to be determined solely by courts not by the public. It is the other way around. The submission to arbitrary law is what any government seeks and it is up to the people to see their will be followed, to the letter, especially in cases where the constitution is concerned.
You just made my point for me. Ultimately, the power to remove Obama (or any elected official) lies in the hands of the voters. As far as laws are concerned, the people do have explicit powers granted to them under the 9th and 10th Amendments. However, the 14th Amendment has circumvented the Bill of Rights, along with Supreme Court rulings that have used the Federalist Papers and other opinions of the Framers against us. Short of a an insurrection the electoral ouster of Obama is the people's best bet. Again, that goes for all elected officials. I'm not a fan of bloodshed, but won't hesitate to take up arms against a government that has proven itself to be an implacable enemy of the people. We haven't exhausted legal means to return to a constitutional republic…yet.
James, I'll have to disagree with you on Obama's election chances. One thing that independents, tea partiers, and the GOP rank and file can agree on is that the Obama tenure must end, and as soon as possible. Just like the far left has no choice but to vote for Obama, the center, center-right, and right has no choice but to vote Republican. A third party candidate a la Palin would be disastrous, but a far left challenger such as Kucinich would be just as harmful to Obama. I don't think the anti-Obama forces will risk a third party candidate. And IF the economy improves between now and 2012 Obama will not have the opportunity to take full credit as he is facing a GOP dominated House that can now make the same claim. The House is the game changer, because appropriations bills have to originate from that body, and Obama is simply too ideological to triangulate and co-opt House initiatives.
We are only bound to the constitution as supreme law until that which it mandates, a republican form of government, exists. You said ouster by vote, which I agree is the constitutionally recognized process however that process has been subverted by both congress and the media. The results of that election are unconstitutional until eligibility is satisfied as required. Then to add to those results, there is a list of more than ten other constitutional violations which have followed and that does not include the previously existing list of violations. One has to start asking the question at some point the constitution no longer is providing the republican form of government agreed to and when is that ? What more must be violated before the course toward tyranny is irreversible? I have yet to hear a proposed point or specific act which would trigger a revolt. Surely it won't be pressed upon us unless there is no reason to fear it wouldn't be successful. Implacable doesn't cut the mustard either.

The certification of live birth could recite the names of the birth parents or the names of the adoptive parents. The overwhelming probability is that the COLB gives the names of the adoptive parents. This is to keep the adoption confidential.

The birth certificate that Abercrombie is attempting to gen up does not solve Obama's eligibility problem. A natural born citizen must have two (married) parents who are BOTH citizens. There is no question that the founders did not intend for someone to slip across the border and have a baby so that child could then qualify to be president. Abercrombie did not become the governor of Hawaii until December 6. Moreover, it is not clear whether he can release the original by himself or whether it requires action by the legislature. The issue is the adoption by Lolo Soetoro, which NEGATED whatever citizenship he was born with and made him an Indonesian citizen, under which citizenship he was going to college, and still traveling when he went to Pakistan in the '80s. Obama's Kenyan grandmother never said that he was born in Kenya. She said repeatedly in the taped interview that he was born in Hawaii, and she said in another interview that the first that her family in Kenya had heard of Obama's birth was in a letter from Hawaii.

Grand jury subpoena from a federal grand jury. In 1974 a federal grand jury took out a U.S. President – Nixon/Watergate.
Other approach: County grand jury subpoena from Hawaii. Assuming Hawaii has county grand juries.
Another approach: State grand jury issues a subpoena upon the Secretary of State for Obama's application when running for president. Subpoena a forensic expert and prove it is/ is not legitimate.

You would need an attorney general to call the grand jury and to subpoena the birth certificate. The last attorney general of Hawaii was a CONSERVATIVE Republican. If he had thought that there was any reason to subpoena the original birth certificate, he would have taken action. He didn't. Instead, the Republican officials and Republican governor of Hawaii repeatedly confirmed the fact that Obama was born in Hawaii.

Answer: this is not true. The reason that Obamas' election was confirmed UNANIMOUSLY by the US congress is that not one member of congress believed that the citizenship of Obama's father has any effect on Obama's Natural Born Citizen status.

The reason for the multiple social security numbers is that the Social Security administration was lazy and sloppy over the years and as a result hundreds of thousands of people have mistakes in their files.
The Connecticut SS number error is easy to understand. SS numbers were generated by the zip code of the applicant’s address. Obama’s address in Hawaii was in zip code 96814, and the zip code for Danbury, CT. is 06814. Notice how close 0 and 9 are to each other on the keyboard?
