The former Hawaii elections official who maintains there’s no long-form birth certificate for Barack Obama in the Aloha State is now saying the president and his aides have been “caught fibbing” about Obama’s background, and the “embarrassing” situation is making it difficult to fess up to the truth.
Tim Adams, who was senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu during the 2008 campaign, made the statements in a two-hour interview with a group looking to disprove claims made by so-called birthers, those challenging Obama’s legal qualification to be president.
“I think people believe there’s been some kind of cover-up. And I don’t think it’s some big nefarious conspiracy. I think it’s politics as usual,” Adams said March 31 on Reality Check Radio, an Internet program on BlogTalkRadio.
“Barack Obama’s official autobiography was put out to the public for the public’s consumption and we all know politicians – they have a public persona, it’s created for consumption by the electorate – and I think that they’ve been caught fibbing, and it’s embarrassing.”
But Adams, who described himself as “pretty much a liberal” who backed Hillary Clinton in the campaign, thinks the president should produce a long-form birth certificate if he has one, even if it contains information that does not go along with the narrative proffered so far by Obama and his surrogates.

Neither Tim Adams, nor any other member of the Hawaii Election Commission had access to the Hawaii birth certificate database.

Sensible people know that IF Obama were born in Kenya or any other country than the USA, his parents would have had to have applied for a US visa or for a change to his mother’s passport to get him into the USA.
Yet they gloss over the fact that no such document has been found. Surely, with all the allegations of birth in Kenya, it would have been looked for by the US State Department while the Republicans were in charge of it, or by the CIA, or both—but no document has been found.
Also, there were notices of Obama's birth in the Hawaii newspapers. And these were not ads, because the Hawaii newspapers did not take birth notice ads in 1961. They only took their notices from the Hawaii government, which only issued them for births IN Hawaii, and which insisted on proof whenever there was a claim that a child was born outside of a hospital.

The answer is that he hasn't. There was never a lawsuit against him just for the birth certificate. If there had been, he would have provided the Certification of Live Birth to the court. That's why birthers did not bring a case just for the birth certificate. Cases which demand Obama's college transcripts or Kindergarten records (really stupid when you think of it, since they almost certainly do not exist anymore) are different. Those records are private, and Obama does not have to show them. He has shown the official birth certificate of Hawaii, and that plus the confirmation of three officials and the notices in the newspapers is more than sufficient.
There is a registration form for when he attended school in Indonesia, that shows his name to be Barry Soetero, religion to be Islam, and citizenship to be Indonesian. He has lawyered-up and sealed every shred of his life's paper trail and has spent over $2million to keep his international cadre of legal beagles ready to fight any interest in the information. There have been over 100+ lawsuits starting with Philip Berg's before the election questioning his eligibility and O.whodat has released his legal minions at great expense to shut them down. There is an UNSIGNED registration form, which by the way gives Obama's place of birth as Hawaii. The UNSIGNED registration form could say anything that it wanted about Obama being an Indonesian citizen, but it is a lie because the Indonesian government says that he never was an Indonesian citizen (You can call the Indonesia embassy and check).
The $2 million is a birther creation. There was never a lawsuit against Obama JUST for his birth certificate. If there had been, he would have provided the court with his Certification of Live Birth, which is the official birth certificate used by thousand of people in Hawaii every year, and that would be the end of the matter because the court would have accepted it–it is the official birth certificate after all.

The FOIA request asked only for passport APPLICATIONS not for the passports themselves. The passport records, the record of issuing passports, has NOT been scrubbed. None have. Those records are still there. Only the applications for passports have been scrapped, and they were for thousands of people. The FOIA request did not ask for the record of issuing a passport to Obama's mother for the obvious reason that if the response was that she did not have one in 1961 (which I think is highly likely) then the birther crap would fade away.
Tim Adams can swear anything he wants because there is no case, so his affidavit will not be checked. He is lying because he did not have access to the birth records of the Department of Health.
If Obama, or anyone, had been born in Kenya in 1961. She or he would have needed either a US visa on a foreign passport (which would have had to have been applied for in Kenya) or to be entered on the mother's US passport (which also would have had to have been done in Kenya). If either of those had been done, the application for the visa or the passport change would still be in the records of applications for visas or applications for passport changes in Kenya in 1961–but no such document has been found.
So, the parents of Obama would have had to have BOTH smuggled Obama into the USA without a legal travel document and convinced the officials in Hawaii that he was born in Hawaii so that they would issue a Hawaii birth certificate. And the officials in Hawaii did not just issue birth certificates when someone claimed that a child was born in Hawaii at home. In such cases they demanded witness statements.

There is NO documented evidence that he was born in any hospital in Hawaii, not only no long-form birth certificate but no hospital bills or invoices, no doctors or nurses—nothing. Hospitals in Hawaii are required by LAW to issue long-form birth certificates and they did so for all births during that time frame—except Obama? It is long overdue for American officials to hue to their duty to uphold the Constitution by issuing subpoenae duces tecum to the Hawai'ian custodian of Obama's vital records to bring them to the light of day. They will confirm that he was constitutionally eligible at the time of his birth, but grossly misrepresented his personal and racial identity to get elected in 2008.
Further, Obama is probably an enemy agent who has by criminal means and otherwise obstructed justice in concealing his acquisition of Indonesian citizenship, which arguably would have terminated his U.S. citizenship and rendered him constitutionally ineligible. Obama had a US passport, which can be used for drivers licenses etc. He got his US passport with the original birth certificate, which means that he HAD it at the time. It does not mean that he still has it, since many people lose their original birth certificates.
We know that Obama had a US passport from at least the time when he returned from Indonesia because he traveled alone and because if he used a passport other than a US passport to enter the USA from Indonesia he would have needed a US visa on that passport, and there has been no evidence shown that he applied for a US visa in Jakarta. (And the Indonesian government says that he never had an Indonesian passport because he was never an Indonesian citizen.)

Both the Certificate of Live Birth (the original) and the Certification of Live Birth (the new official birth certificate) are birth certificates. Both of them. Only the Certification is the official birth certificate, the one that thousands of people in Hawaii use for their US passports every year.
The officials in Hawaii have confirmed the facts on Obama's official birth certificate and stated in writing that the original birth certificate is in Obama's files and that it VERIFIES that he was born in Hawaii.
He is an ordinary person, an ordinary person who was born in Hawaii as his official birth certificate and the confirmation of the officials shows.
