A handful of Democrats are pressing for tougher gun laws in the wake of the Colorado movie theater shootings that left 12 people dead.
Moving such bills has become extraordinarily difficult on Capitol Hill because of powerful gun rights allegiances, however, and Republican strategists predicted the latest gun violence was unlikely to lead to significant changes.
Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.) — whose husband was killed and son seriously injured in a 1993 shooting on a Long Island commuter train — told reporters on Friday that the National Rifle Association (NRA) and other opponents of gun control have a simple but effective strategy following gun violence tragedies.

To the democrat gun grabbers, you want my gun? Come and get it you commie S.O.B.’s. We have a right to bear arms, you are all traitors to the Constitution, and any and all that vote YES to this UN gun grab, will be tried and hung by We The People. This is America, we don’t follow some third world, new world order laws, we follow the Constitution.
The people that run the theater should be charged with violating the Consttutional Rights of victims in this case. They barred the audience from carrying weapons and did not provide protection from crazy’s such as this. They allowed this guy to come into their theater and shoot innocent and unarmed people. The suspect was well aware that the people in the theater would not be armed because, I’m sure it is probably posted “NO FIREARMS ALLOWED”. That being the case they should have provided security for the audience. I know this may sound crazy but it is no more crazy than the idiots saying that “the backers of the 2nd Amendment created the problem”. There is not one single thing that could have prevented this guy from getting weapons. He knew what he was going to do and did it.. All of the laws in the world would not have stopped him. With the case against our “Attorney General” (Eric Holder) that is a completely different story. His goal was to make it appear that weapons were being made available to easily in the U.S. so he set a trap against the American people and it back fired on him. Where are all the gun grabbers screaming for him to be charged with conspiring to commit a felony, unlawful sale of firearms to known drug trafficers, accessory to murder of a Federal Officer and attempting to coverup the crime.. As the A.G. of the United States of America he cannot plead ignorance of the law and that he did not know what he was doing was illegal. Well I really may be wrong there. He probably is saying that and it may well be true. He was not appointed for what he knows. He was appointed for who he knows and what he is willing to do to further destroy the United States of America. He and his commander and chief would not know how to tell the truth even if it would benefit them to do so.
The only change that should happen as a result of this shooting is to eliminate gun free zones! Those that have CCW permits have had a fairly extensive background check done, fingerprints…I’m fairly certain that in that theater, there were a couple people with permits that left them in the car or at home knowing the theater didn’t allow weapons..
Remember Gun Control is not about Guns, it is about Control. In Australia, England and Canada guns have been confiscated and destroyed. In all three of those nations violence escalated by a factor of an average of 300 percent. If the citizen has no guns, the criminals win, because they will not give up their guns which are not registered anyway. In Australia after guns were confiscated armed robberies became so common that most stores just handed over the cash at sight of a gun. There were so many calls for police because of robbery at one point the police in the major cities could not answer little more than half of them. Just think, if one armed individual was in that crowd at the theater in Aurora Colorado, there is a possibility that no one would have been killed. In one city in Georgia a law was passed that all households must possess a fire arm and the occupant must know how to use it. Crime just went away, that is the situation to this day.
I see that there are quite a few of you that are really piss’d off. Just cool your jet’s, November is 90+ days away, so instead of getting piss”d off, let’s get even, take that anger that you have built up, and turn it vocally out into your neighborhoods and let’s drive this Liar out of office. There is nothing good about this man in the White House, and we all know this, but there are still those out there that can’t see it. Those who refuse to see Obama for who he really is are fools, ignorant fools, fools that seem not to care for the future of their own children, fools that seem not to care if everything goes up, including their own taxe’s, fools that can careless that their children will get the worse care in the Northern Hemisphere, so those fools don’t matter, they will vote for a communist, oh they already have voted for a communist, they just want to give the communist another 4 to destroy more of america’s infastructure, until they will be able to see Tangably for theirselves, what we have been saying to them from day one, then they will kick theirself where it hurts the most. All we can do is continue doing what we do best, and that is telling the world who we have in the White House, and what it is, is a Communist who has turned our America into Dog dookie, and will continue unless we get him the Heck out of Washington DC, so we can start to repair what he has already destroyed. America can be fixed, IF we can kick this communist son of a dog out of office.
There is no such thing as gun violence. It’s people violence. If someone used a Twinkie to kill people would it be called Twinkie violence and would Liberals try to put a control on Twinkies?

This whacked out space case murdered 12 people and the Left starts screaming “BAN THE GUNS!” McVeigh murdered almost FIFTEEN times as many with only diesel fuel and fertilizer – where was the cry to outlaw THEM? Jim Jones effectively murdered more than FIVE times THAT and no one screamed “Ban the KoolAid!”
Basically, if someone is intent on murder – be it one or a thousand people – they WILL find a way – the “Laws” be damned!
I can recall at LEAST three recent, potentially deadly, situations where LEGAL access to firearms – including Concealed Carry – PROMPTLY put an end to a vicious criminal’s intended reign of terror!
