I have always loved Bob Hope, and his dead pan delivery is just wonderful. Some PAC ought to put this in an ad.

The line from the original “Day the Earth Stood Still” has never been brought to peoples attention. Remember when Klatu checks into the rooming house as Mr. Carpenter? Around the breakfast table, Patricia Neil says that the alien might find people on Earth strange. Beatrice Taylor says there is nothing strange about people in Washington. Her husband says, “They’re not people, they’re democrats!”. This was 1951. Like the Bob Hope movie, it seems democrats have always been confused……proof that there is no cure for ‘liberal mental disorder’……..
