The author of a new book, Mideast Beast: The Scriptural Case for an Islamic Antichrist,” says there are things about Iran that few Americans, including American Christians, know.
“First, the present regime is on the verge of being toppled. The Iranian people are extremely unhappy with their leadership. There is the very real chance that the present mullocracy could fall in a very short time,” said Joel Richardson, who also has written “The Islamic AntiChrist.”
“Recent and credible intelligence reports argue that the looming fall of the Assad regime in Syria will be a devastating blow to the ayatollah’s regime,” he said.
“Second, the nation of Iran is presently experiencing the greatest Christian revival in the world. In my opinion, more American Christians need to be on their faces praying for the Iranian people rather than openly calling for war. Of course, there are no easy answers here, but among those calling for war, I see very few who are beginning in the place of prayer,” Richardson told WND.
He recently was a guest on a show broadcast via satellite into Iran hosted by Pastor Hormoz Shariat, Ph.D., who is known as “the Billy Graham of Iran.” His television show on the Shabakeh7, or Network 7, channel is so popular that Shariat is said to be the third most recognizable figure in Iran after Ayatollah Khamanei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The surest and best way to overcome the Islamic Revolution in Iran and turn it around from the evil mullocracy that it has become is through a Christian revival among the Iranian people. It is encouraging indeed to hear that the evil Islamo-Nazi regime is on the verge of toppling. If a decapitation strike were carried out successfully it is almost certain that the Islamo-Nazis would be gone and hopefully replaced by a regime friendly to the West and Israel and an end to the Iranian nuclear threat.
Christianity is thriving everywhere in the world it seems except in post-Christian America where Christians are specifically persecuted while the abortion holocaust continues unabated and where the abomination of same-sex marriage is not only defended but exalted as a result of people having been blinded by Satan (Chick-Fil-A incident).
When the Isaiah 9:10 prophecy is thrown into the mix, America is ripe for Judgement. Said Judgement is likely already in process. The outcome for 2012 with the election and the many eschatological predictions, albeit from ancient pagan sources, will make for suspense similar to the Y2K predictions as we approach the end of the year. Most Americans are seemingly unaware of the perilous nature of America’s continued slide into darkness. No doubt the same attitude prevailed in the ancient Roman Empire before it’s calamitous fall as the world’s then mightiest power from whence it never recovered. America could be in for a similar fate.
As Christian believers and thus God’s people of a Judeo-Christian heritage and heirs to the Abrahamic covenant, we must collectively humble ourselves, pray and seek God’s face and repent of our sins if we are to have any hope of avoiding Judgement, having our sins forgiven and our land healed (II Chronicles 7:14). Though God’s patience is long suffering, ancient Biblical history confirms it is not indefinite.
