Texas Republican Rep. Steve Stockman threatened Monday afternoon that he would file articles of impeachment against President Barack Obama if he institutes gun control measures with an executive order.
Stockman warned that such executive orders would be “unconstitutional” and “infringe on our constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms.”
“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment,” Stockman said in a statement.
At his press conference Monday, Obama floated the possibility of using executive action to enact policies aimed at reducing gun violence.
The freshman congressman, who served one term in Congress in the mid-1990s, further labeled the possibility “an existential threat to this nation” because, he said, the purpose of the Second Amendment is to allow the people to protect themselves from tyranny.

I watched Congress men stand up and Read the Constitution this morning I guess to remind Odumbo to not Violate it, they did the same reading 4 years ago and did it SLOW Goof Ball down any at all? He has Trampled all over it, wiping his feet on it. So they think he will Stop or they will do some thing about it. Words, Words, Talk, Talk, Blab, Blab, Blow Hot Air I sure hope they do not Scare The Little Dictator to much he may not Negotiate with them, Ha, Ha, Ha.
The purpose of the Second Amendment is to ensure our FREEDOM from public and private tyrants by endorsing our God-given right to shoot them in self-defense. Logically, anyone trying to deny us this right is also a tyrant and must be quickly neutralized to prevent the genocides that follow when psychopaths have disarmed societies using bogus pretexts. The incremental low-intensity communist insurgency that we’ve not been effectively fighting will destroy America unless we quickly acquire a fierce mindset and do whatever is necessary to defeat it. We know all we need to know to do what must be done.

Sadly, even if articles of impeachment were filed, since the Senate holds the trial, nothing will happen with the Democrats in full control of the Senate. Articles of impeachment should have been filled many times with all of the crimes that BO has committed.
Few in government are not guilty of failing to honor and uphold their oaths of office. More of the same can be expected except when facing either charges of treason under Article II, Sections 2 and 4.or direct second amendment correction for grievances bogged down by complicit judges and parasite lawyers of status quo.
Whatever the outcome of presidential impeachment by senate vote, each must be given the final opportunity to determine their fate by either upholding or denying their oath of office.to protect the constitution from further determined effort of the guilty that only fear armed insurrection.
Ensuing action with or without violence must be to redeem the republic for those to which it was intrusted in the final line of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address.—–” that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, SHALL NOT perish from the earth.” Loss of any one of government’s three requirements negates it’s original conception and intent. “By the people” is eliminated by executive or judicial decree. Once this process begins and congressional checks fail, revolution becomes necessary to uphold SHALL NOT in the wording.
No sane president can practice denial of states’ rights to secession while unfairly taxing their population for financing federal government as he did and not expect the same result.
So, do You have the Article of Impeachment READY, Mr. Stockman?? You have MANY backers…when ever You get around to it!
