God’s Not Done With America

Cross SC Gods Not Done With America

Today is the first of 40 Days of Prayer leading up to the presidential election.

Although the event ends the same day as the November election, Dave Butts, who chairs America’s National Prayer Committee (NPC), tells OneNewsNow that is not the central theme. He says the religious leaders he has met throughout his travels agree that the country is in trouble.

“We’ve got serious issues — economic, social, cultural, racial, international [and] political. We have problems, and no one person is going to solve this,” Butts asserts. “The problem ultimately isn’t in the White House; it’s in our house. This is an act of humility before God that the church in America needs desperately to do.”

He says the nation needs repentance and revival.

  1. Uh huh! And the first repentance all you Bible thumpers need to do is to turn from the rebellion which the Protestants started against the Church that Jesus Christ founded upon St. Peter. Show me in the Bible — ANYWHERE — where God blesses rebellion against the authority He establishes, even when that authority has problems or is doing wrong.

Show me where blessing came upon Israel when they were in disobedience to God and then tell me how you expect blessing when you refuse to obey the truth? Your act of humility is to go directly to your nearest Catholic parish, enter the confessional, and repent of your arrogant pride that tells you that you know more and better than 2,000 years of the Church and Her teaching. It is arrogance in spades to think that you have a better knowledge of Christ than the frist Christians who believed that the Eucharist is the very Body and Blood of our Lord and that receiving it confers eternal life (John 6: 53-56). You are following rebels who shredded the Body of Christ into thousands of pieces, despite His prayer that the Body be all one (John 17:22).

You have embraced falsehoods and deceptions passed down from generation to generation by men who had a demonic hatred of the Church. Men like Lorraine Boettner, whose book was so full of errors and falsehoods that the publisher refused to print it anymore. Yet you use this book and your Chick tracts to believe the worst about our Lord’s Church.

God may very well be finished with a country that has murdered 50+ million innocent babies and refuses to obey Him. Your only hope is the Catholic Church and obedience to all that God has taught through Her. Repent — now!

    • We cannot change the world, we can only change ourselves and when we are responsible for ‘the log in our own eyes’ the world benefits from it. If we start by pointing fingers rather than looking within ourselves, we are lost. All the rantings and ravings about the past are truly a waste of our time and yours as well.
Pray with us; that will do a lot more good.

    • Show me where scripture requires one go to the nearest “Catholic parish” and enter the confessional to confess sin before anyone but Yahshua? Jesus is the way to the Lord, not some catholic parish, priest or confessional box.

  2. IrishEddieOHara _ Will, it’s for certain you haven’t read any books of any of the prophets. Jeremiah told the people to go over to the babylonians, which was against the king’s orders, and their lives would be saved.

I have never found one verse in the Bible that tells me to pray to Mary, please point that out to me. I have found where I am to pray to the Father in Jesus’ name.

The pope and the Catholic church were said to have back Hitler in his reign of terror…

    • watchman48,
I hope you will read the September 2012 issue of Whistleblower Magazine, titled “Disinformation Age.” It may answer some of your misconceptions.

    • True: The pope and the Catholic church did back Hitler in his reign of terror… in fact Hitler considered himself a devout catholic right up until his death.
For facts to research, the book by Dave Hunt called A “Woman Rides the Beast”
chapter 18 “Background to the Holocaust” and 19 “The Vatican, the Nazis and the Jews.”

  3. Don’t even get me started on the Catholic so called church! OH GOD please help us!

  4. First, we do not pray to Mary! We ask her to intercede for us. As in the Gospels she exerts great influence on her Son Jesus Christ.

Secondly, regarding the Pope and Hitler, you should dig a little further. There is more to the story!
