On their Tuesday show, the women of ABC’s “The View” discussed Glenn Beck’s recent comments that the earthquake in Japan may be a message from God.
Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, two of the show’s most outspoken hosts, criticized Beck, who said on his Monday show that the the world’s events may be a “message” sent from God. The message, he said, was “‘hey, you know that stuff we’re doing? Not really working out real well. Maybe we should stop doing some of it.’”
“Which commandment does he want us to follow?” Behar said. “Thou shalt not build a reactor near the water?”
“If this is because we’re misbehaving and God is pissed, I would check the mirror, Glenn,” Goldberg responded.
“How about ‘thou shalt not advance your career on the back of the Japanese people right now?’” Behar added.

When I was a kid I lived in Utah, and the Boy Scouts was taken over by Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS Church). This, so called religion, practices underage polygamy, they send the boy s off on missions to divide the underage sisters among the dirty old men of the clan. Now when these underage girls get pregnant, these same dirty old men, send them to the state to get their welfare checks . You should see some of the palace homes that are paid with welfare checks (not on just one of course). By the way this is the newest religion that was created right here in United States of America, I guess their also in AZ, CA, NM, TX, NV, CO, OK. When someone hides behind religion to do or say something that is wrong we should stand up and point it out (right the wrong). Someone should ask Glenn Beck about it, he seems to have all the answers.

I watched that on PBS the night that aired and they are not even real Mormans, just some small
offshoot cults and the program emphasized that at the beginning of the full version.
So what does Beck suggesting the possibility of a message from God and then speculating
what one of the messages may be just as much as those women speculating their silly guess's
have to do with some funny little outcast cult that is not part of the real Church of LDS?
I know quite a few real Mormans here, but which one are you suggesting is the newest?
It seems that the newest religion around here (which wasn't created in USA and is even older
than the US of A) is very similar. Created by a perv. and engaged in woman beating.

Have seen clips of "The View". Goldberg and Behar are both absolutely disgusting. They should be taken off the air. As for Beck and his comment about maybe God is trying to tell us something.–he's not all that wrong. Read The Bible–especially Revelation about the last days. It's all there.
Who watches that program? The only one with any sense is the young blond girl. I watched Behar and Whoopie make complete fools of themselves, and Bawbwa still thinks she matters. What a waste of TV time. At least, Glenn Beck makes sense ,and everything he reports is based in fact ,and only after careful research. Do you think if he was just making things up, he would be allowed to continue, especially in this litigious society? Behar shows her ignorance every time she opens her big mouth. Tonight's newscast said Behar put her foot in her mouth again. What a surprise!
there are fine mormon people who do not adhere to pologamy…the ones that do are offshoots and utah gave up pologamy to attain statehood….and the comment about the boys go off and the girls get pregnant….you should wish the average american teenager were as pure as those kids..pitiful statements you made…

Glenn's career is just fine. Seems like anyone who has a differing opinion with this group of women is a target for their hateful words and attitude. I have seen only snippets of this A.M. show….that was enough to make an evaluation of their agenda. I'm sure they would be all nicey nice if he had discussed the muslim thinking or any other thoughts as long as they were not from a Christian point of view.
